There are moments when I lie on the beach soaking in the sun, and I admire at how the sand on my oiled skin reflects the sun. These are the moments at which I tell myself "I'm golden." This is what I think of when I put on Spanish Gold. From what I understand stephanotis is a type of jasmine. At first I get enveloped in warm rays of olive,herbal, and soft jasmine. It lingers but adds sweet and citrus after dry. Coming back from a day on the beach, I love how the feeling of the sun still lingers on my skin, despite it setting hours ago. Spanish Gold is a lingering sun in my mind. This is beauty in a bottle.

This is a clean floral with a blanket of coconut. It's reminiscent of detergent, but not glaringly so. The coconut note isn't a roasted coconut scent but a fresh coconut meat chunk that isn't fake and sugary, but the real fatty deal. I smell dazzling dawn, nature's loudest wake up call. In no way is this dawn a dewy, sleepy eyed, linger out of bed dawn. The sun just fully rose over the horizon and light is EXPLODING into the sky. The birds are chirping, and the room is so bright, that I can't help but bounce out of bed. The floral aspect is a little heady on me, which is where i get the bright imagery. It's a manageable heady,though that won't stop me from wearing it again. Perhaps on a rainy morning to help lighten my day.

Chocolate florals. This is a playful scent in that one moment I get choco whiffs, and then in another the florals are in front. It's playful in that it's saying "What am I going to smell like more this time? hehhehe" Mischievous little dream lover you. The florals are spicier on me, but there is still a sweet quality added in through the semi sweet chocolate. After all the play, my dream lover calms down to a slumbering vanilla and amber.

I'm excited for this! It seems like scents with ginger in it have been a hit for me. I'm imagining a spiced cider with a refreshing but warm ginger kick according to your description. Is it more an an indian summer scent or could i be able to get away with it on a cooler, more crisp day?

aww i'm really sad that this didn't work out for me. lady of the mist was so pretty in the vial. unfortunately my skin chemistry wreaked havoc, and it turned into cleaning agent fumes the last two times. phew! third time is a charm. so i'll give it another try.

Nymph is my friend! Yet's it's clean and fresh. The bamboo is what stands out the most, while the others float along in the water. It's almost aftershave-y on me, and I like it because it's like a hint of male on me. Which is nice when I feel in need of a boost of take charge attitude.

i'm loving sugared moondust. at first the tobacco threw me off. it's not one of my first choices of things i would like to smell like, but wow, it is a haunting scent. it's very memorable. it makes me want to let my hair down and drift off to dreamland. it's almost two am and the scent is keeping me in an awake and relaxed state. it's as if some great moon goddess is wrapping me in a misty allure that's sweet and glowing. wet, the tobacco scent is strong. the only way i can describe the scent dry is as if someone is blowing out smoke over a mound of powdered sugar, and the sugar slowly sprinkles around and over roasting walnuts. this is something i will need to feel good on night's where i'm burning the midnight oil.

This is powerful stuff! I couldn't handle this often Calii, it's way too much responsibility!

I have PP in a spray and gave it a spin a few times, each time with one spray.

This first time I was on a bus heading to school. I was on some crazed high that I could not contain. I had to violently fight the urge not to sing along to my ipod and dance up and down the bus, while swinging around the poles in a musical number kind of fashion. When I met up with my friends, it was like my excitement to see them was magnified two fold. PP makes me manic almost.

I attended a college networking event the second time I used PP. I'm not a fan of these things, or the people that run around introducing themselves even though they could care less about you . Despite my uneasiness of the whole situation, I felt confident and personable. I took my time to actually share conversations with others without feeling forced or awkward. I ran into some of the people in the group that hosted the event later. They told me that they recognized me from the event even though I hadn't talked to them. Some other people with whom I did speak with told me that I was their favorite person. PP is a good impression in a bottle I think.

Another time I was a bit tired, but wanted to be in good spirits for going over to an alright friend's house. I tend to have conversations on the side with people, and while in one I realized that I had an audience . I ended up was telling my whole story to the room, and I felt almost on stage a little bit. I have never been in a situation where everyone was so blatantly attentive. I felt as if I could have told them a detailed story about plucking my leg hairs, and they would have listened about how I went about plucking each one. 0_o

This is a yum It's like a whiff of a crisp night with a lover's arm around your waist. I love the clean citrus and the soft green of the cactus. Not sure what pink lotus smells like to be exact, but a tender floral trails along. The musk and vanilla adds a pocket of warmth and depth. Though it may be my own skin chemistry, the vanilla plays a delicate buttery quality on me.

This will be very handy for me when I feel like being sweet inside and out. It's bath of peach for quite sometime. Eventually the woods and orange blossom settle. I don't know if I could wear this alone much though. I may use this to layer when I need to sweeten a scent or amp up the orange blossom. I am liking my orange blossom.

I was excited too try out the Neroli in this. I was happy that my nose could pick it out, but the carnations wanted all the attention and were a bit obnoxious on me. I get a bit of smokeyness as well, possibly from the civet? I'm not going to pretend that I know A feminine but punky scent. I gave it to the roommate because she seemed to like it. I'd call her feminine and punky too!

At first I thought An Act of Violets was going to be dark because I was thinking "An Act of Violence." There is no violence, it's so sweet on me! The acai goes berry wild, and the violet is barely holding it back on a leash. I stopped being able to smell myself before I could reach the white pepper, or maybe it was lost on me. My nose is stilll new, so the clove is still hiding from me in the background.

Ooooo *taking furious notes*

What i gather is that:

"Leather to throw" respect- Arms are where the first message comes from? or where the message comes form the loudest?

"Perfect Match was back of neck and cleavage only"- for the special people to give hint if <3?

"Cougar was front of throat (pulse points) and wrists."- for self effects mostly? is was this something you wanted to throw out too?

"Instant Shine went into the hair"- how does a spray to the head affect you and others? I have instant honesty but i'm saving up for true confessions. I usually spray this on my head, but I would love to throw that around. Does the head still get good throw?

Ladies' Game and MX397 went onto my upper chest.- stumped as to what this could mean.

"Then the LP Black went in cleavage, throat pulse points, and wrists."- for an awesome scent to encompass your attitude.

I feel cool and mysterious with a quiet passionate undertone. I get an very early morning on the shore kind image. It first it's tangy on me a sweet and mellow tangy citrus. I get a fresh ginger after dry down, and I am wrapped in a luscious, but not juicy, peachy note. The peach is quiet, not quite a whipser, but a song. Siren is a perfect nomer. Let me sing my praises because YUP I'm getting a bottle of this before the sale ends. I only have half a trial vial left, and I just got it yesterday!

Hooray for newbies! I'm one too Magnanimity and Miss L. The pheros are cool, but I actually ordered the fragrances this time. You're gonna love it! It's almost like a mystery solving the different notes in each one. Each one really has a story to tell me so far, and It's been an adventure discovering and living it.

I do that often too, put on like a million LP's at once...lol then i wonder why iam tripping out, and being in different places at once. My inner instinct has gotten really good, iam scared of my own powers now a days. haha

Nurhhhhhh i just got my package this morning. I don't have seven scents on me but I am having so much fun smelling LPMP fragrances for the first time! Soo much to try!

We're actually working and shipping tomorrow, on a Saturday, to try to get everything out the door to you faster. We've only ever done this once before. The sale plus auction plus lots of customs have us a little behind, sorry! (Not to mention working on our FAVORITE month of the year!)

 

But anyway, yes...Closer and Glistening Buttons are not going to last much longer. The sleazier it is, the faster it sells...you girls is sooooo naughty!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in love with this idea AncientGoddess. It's like a last bit of summer that still lingers on you, carrying over that feel good summer vibe. It sounds like a great way to enter fall.

It's seems to be a new favorite! I hope Glistening Buttons doesn't go away as fast as Catie Scarlet's B&B...at least not until a can snag a bottle

AHHHH I got my letter today. I've been staring at my inbox for days. It's like watching a boiling pot. It won't ship until tomorrow, so I'm looking at a package by Wednesday. I've been so impatient I just wanna smell all the new vials and pick a scent to order my first bottle of just Fragranced LPMP. I'm also excited to start note training! YAY! Thanks Mara!

Thanks for all your input ladies! I really appreciate it. Looks like open windows it is after I save up a bit. I can definitely fit in the wax melts though. Spa mint and aloha sound great. Do you think a salon could get a away with Summer Love sensation (Open Windows) ?

i would go for b2 myself. I get great hits with it in my job. however i get great tips with cougar too..... tough call for me.
