Just as a note, I accidentally ordered the scented version of Cougar Potion... This fortunate accident prompted me to trial layering recipes with my sample vial (so I could decide what to do with the full bottle) and I discovered to my complete joy that it layers wonderfully with many of the LP scents. The grapefruit does have the additional aromotherapy benefit of causing those smelling it to perceive you as younger; this benefit exists even when they sniffer is not "perceptually" aware of the grapefruit scent (i.e., when it is layered and blended beautifully with other scents). Funny, I swear I get a bit of self-effect from it as well

 

I'm planning on ordering the unscented as well, but thought I would share my experiences with the scented version.

Curious.. Chaionlife, I purchased a full size btl of the scented Cougar Potion, just wondering, what are you blending/layering it with ? The LPs I have may be to "bold" and I'm afraid the citrusy grapefruit would lose it "umph" . What would you suggest ? liz

Oh, Liz, I know how disheartening that can be! My skin does the mysterious disappearing act with many a scent. In fact, even with those that "stick", I think I reapply my scents at twice the normal rate. I have found that the new LP pheromone formulations, with their silicone base of Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), do provide a great foundation on my skin and help scents "linger" and diffuse better.

Do you think I should get it "amped" w/add in's ? I was hoping I wouldn't have to. liz

That is a really nice combo......I was wearing it by itself this morning, and just layered Nasty Habits over top of it.....WOW.

ooooo.... I'm gonna try that, just got my trial size of sugared honeycomb, today. Dolly, you should have your own 'topic', like "Dolly's Daily Dose" or something catchy, you know !

Smells like the fur off a ferret, with cigar ashes.

 

This scent conjures up a wealthy 40-ish lady appearing in a mink coat with a lit cigarrette.

AAAAHHHHHHHH HHHHAAAAAAA !!! Cruella DeVille !!! * as diet coke blows out of my nose* ouch !

ps: Please don't be offended, it just caught me off guard.

I really like the smell, a tad citrus and tea rose. It's a very clean scent. After wearing it, it smells like Coast/Dial the soap bar without the soap. I forget which ones have the blue swirls.

 

It's a great unisex scent. It's a great wear on day you want to be less fem/sexy and just more alert and refreshed. If you dont buy a bottle for yourself. Buy one for the men in your life.

Really ? I find it very feminine, at first I thought, too dainty for me, then it grew on me. Oddly, the trial size smelled (is that a word ?)differently from the full size, that I eventually ordered. Hmmmm.... liz

Only been a bit over an hour and it's disappeared .

This is light and airy on me, I've usually been attracted to "bold" scents, so I was surprised when I ordered a trial size of this one, a bit floral but not overwhelming. It's nice.

I attribute that partly to the Nasty Habits/Super Sexy combo, and partly to my wondrous charm.....

All charm , the "combo" is just a "plus" !

I agree....this is a very nicely done scent.....I like it, as well....

I also like your idea of mixing w/Dirty Sexy (which I now have to get a full size bottle of) . Question, Dolly: Do you add any of the new add in pheros to Nasty Habits ?

How do you use pics for avatars? I would love to create one...

I right click (mouse) on pic to copy, the go to your "photo gallery" in windows, then left click (mouse) to paste, it's probably not the easiest way, but it works 4 me since I know nothing about computers, have you ever seen some of the special effect people use, I'm really behind the times, only had this laptop 4 6 mos. In any case, be careful of "permissions" or "copyrights". hope it works for you.

ps: you can also look up "free avatars" I like "avatarity artistic Avatars" it's free, some charge. And I do it as I suggested above. I copied one from the site that Darbla gave us, afraid to use, I owe all my $ to "Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie and Gift Shop" can't afford to get sued !
