  1. I would be interested in knowing what this scent does on other's skin.

I just received it as well, but I have 7 different scents on, I'm confused :) !! I do however like it from the dabbing wand, I'll let u know though, after I get over my LP overdose  .

  2. everything looks so wonderfull!!! I can hardly wait til payday..LOL

Ooooooh ! Pay day was yesterday, I put in my order for Phero Girl: DOMINANCE. Hope I qualify for the trial size samples (Dirty Sexy and Celestial Lust Dust). I love getting packages in the mail :( . Thx M/D ! L

  3. I love the Robin+Marian Romeo+Juliet pictures! They look so loving with each other! And it's cool that it's made for girls and guys! Girlfriends and boyfriends can smell like each other. (I wish I had a boyfriend ; _ ; )

Oh little one, you've got your whole life ahead of you, and you sound very sweet, it'll happen. :) I hope that when it does, that it's as nice as you imagine it to be.

  4. Happy New Year !!! Has anyone gotten any of the "new releases-December" in the mail yet ? How wonderful does "Goblin Market - Trilogy" smell ? or any of the others for that matter, wish I had ordered before the 22nd. I think the mailman is afraid of me :) ! Liz

  5. I know I 'm in for a lynching with this post. But I have to ask. I never heard of EOW or smelled it before learning about it here just a few weeks ago. I bought some EOW from the manufacturer because I loved the scent of Pherogirl. In the bottle EOW smelled kindof floral. After a few minutes on my skin it smelled like (pahlease excuse my blatant honesty) toe nail cheese.

Some people say its supposed to smell like a girl's dirty underwear. Never in my life has my underwear smelled this horrid. I have never known any smell to come off of a female that was this sour.

If i'm getting the story correctly, some man made this stuff to roughly equate it with his impression of the smell of female vaginal excretions. Help me out here - - - this is one of the gravest insults I' ve ever heard of. This guy must be a total woman hater. This is not not not not not what women smell like. Can someone explain why anyone is buying into this?

EXACTLY !!! OMGoddess ! I just got my bottle in the mail, I opened and said to SELF, "this doesn't smell bad, smells flowery ? Hey! I got jipped (as if I preferred the stank)! What was thinking ? I just dabbed an inkling of an inklink and thought AHHHHH !! TOE JAM EXPLOSION ! Holy $#&% ! no wonder you need a cover ! The guy I choose to use this on, had better mean a great deal to me, having to smell that for 20 mins to dry down before being able to breathe again ! Okay Dolly, I'll give it the ole' college try (this better be mind-bending) ! Can I have cocktail first ? Liz

  6. I'm trying to avoid purchasing anymore for myself until well after the holidays. But if I my spending wasn't limited I would want to sniff Essence of Luck, Kingdom of Dreams and Wishcraft.

Don't they all just sound FABULOUS !!!! 12th Night in New Orleans caught my attention because of the dried orange peel and patchouli (my favorite scent in the world), that and the *new beginnings* thing (sure could use one). Ashes to Dust: the *banishing potion*, although the Hydrangea as the 1st note, well ... I' not a big floral fan, it's if-y. Seduction and Redemption sound interesting (perhaps it's the story that allures me), Enticement sounds a bit fruity. I'm going to go for it and get them ! Liz

  7. No problem Liz. :)

We both may have been asking about this one. Hope you enjoy it, but for me it wasn't the foodie lovers chocolate scent I was hoping for.

Think I'll go for the Trial Size, credit card can use a rest  ! Have you checked out the New Releases ? I don't know what to order. Liz
  8. Thank you katz, it was I that requested a review.

I received Aztec Moon yesterday, it is much more of a floral than a foodie scent. To my nose the floral was very strong, then it absorbed in to my skin and disappeared before I had a chance to notice more. While it may work for some people this just isn't what I was hoping for, I'm not too fond of heavy florals.

    my mistake, L

  9. I wore this again today, with a bit less fog in my head now...

"Evocative of those hot, sensuously steamy south of the border nights, where romance is heavy in the air. Intoxicating scent of Sangria and Mexican spices over Tobacco Flowers,

Xocoatl, and rich dark resins. A heady indulgence of exotic Aphrodisia."

Fresh on the skin, this one is foremost a wine and floral-fruity fragrance...given time to mellow the wine note settles down, and the cocoa and spices and tobacco flower come out to play...resins underly the whole. It's a scrumptious scent, but my skin seems to dissolve it too quickly  I've applied it to my pulse and hairline areas...maybe I have overkilled and I no longer smell it...that happens sometimes. I do like this for a not-too-foody, but definitely tasty multilayered scent!

Hi Katz, I think it may have been me asking about *Aztec Moon*. It caught my eye, I'm hispanic (not Mexican, but) and naturally I was interested. I think I have that same *ability* as you, lately the scent doesn't seem to last and I find mySELF reapplying. In any case, Thanks for the info, think I'll try a sample size of it with next order, have u seen the New Releases ? Liz

  10. In browsing through the *samples*, read a few that called my attention, wondering if anyone has any feedback on *Hecate's Night Potion*, *Aztec Moon* and *Sabra's Secret* ( the cumin sound interesting) ? liz

ps: * Sugared Amber* too !

  11. ok here's a silly question. But you put EW on. Let it air dry. Put your cover scent on. ok makes sense.

But do you apply the cover scent on the SAME spot you put EW or can it be anywhere?

I mySELF haven't tried it, but from what I gathered from the previous posts, Yeah, I think you *cover* the EoW, from Dolly's description, it QUITE powerful ! I don't think it should be applied w/o a cover scent. am I right Dolly ? She is more experienced with EoW (4yrs). liz

  12. Linnea Quigley is one of the main 'Scream Queens' from the 80's. She's also an author and muscian. I've been collecting her movies. I also have her perfumes and a book, and have an autographed picture. ^__^

    Here's her official site:

    http://linneaquigley.net/

I ended up ordering a full bottle of "Phantom of the Trailor Park" I liked it so much. ^__^

    Thanks for the welcome everyone~~~

Gee, I REALLY feel old  ! I'm afraid I haven't seen any of her movies, but I do like *screamers* ! Thanks for the info, SugaredLinnea. liz

  13. *waves* Hello everyone! I just got some perfume here for the first time, a few days ago. My dad got it for me because I love Linnea Quigley  . I have Summer of Sin and Rabid. I haven't used them yet, and probably never will so I can save them for my Linnea collection. But I got some samples too and my favorite of them is Phantom of the Trailer Park. I thought it smelled the best and had a cute story.

    Well, bye for now~~~

Hey ! Sorry, I forgot to say Hello, Hello, SugaredLinnea ! I'm newbie too, just few weeks old. Enjoy ! liz

  14. Angel is plenty strong and sweet so it should cover EoW just fine!

Top notes: Fruits, dewberry, helional, honey

    Heart Notes: Chocolate, caramel, coumarin

    Base Notes: Vanilla, patchouli

but I'll tell you, nearly anything from Love Potion will cover it extremely well ... especially anything of the LP variants or any of the darker sultry sugary or resinous ones.

I just love *Angel*, that's for the ok ! Liz

  15. Ack! Someone get this girl back-up bottles!

Welcome to the forums, SL. (Phantom really is nifty. I'm glad you got to try some perfumes, even if you have to save the Linnea ones.)

Oh Goddess ! Have I really been living in cave ? I don't seem to ANYTHING anyone talks about ! Who is Linnea Quigley  ? and why would *Sugared Linnea* save the unopened btls for her *Linnea Collection*. just being nosey, Liz

  16. I don't mind the questions at all......I wish someone had been able to help me 4 years ago.....at that time, there were only a few of us who were working with EW, and it took a lot of trial and error......

You just need to experiment with different cover scents, and see what works best for you. As a general rule, scents with heavy vanilla, musk, or amber notes work especially well for covering it. But, I have even covered it with Love's Baby Soft.....remember that one.....can't hardly find it anymore......it is like a little girl's perfume.....but, it does cover EW.....go figure.....

Also, something that we have noticed is that older women (I turned 40 in Aug), and women who have been on birth control for extended periods usually have better luck with EW by using more. We're not experts, but, it is just a general observation. Trying to find the proper dosage for you sometimes takes a little work, but if you're willing to work with it, the results are definitely worth it!

Well, Dolly, I tried Phero Girl today, I have a keen sence of smell amd immediately picked up on the "musky" notes, are those the *cops* you speak of. However, I didn't come in contact with any men, so I couldn't notice if it had any effects on them, WHERE IS A MAN when you need one ! So, I'm wondering if EOW is more of a pure state, I should use it sparingly. Are you familiar with *Angel* by Theirry Mugler, I was planning on using that as a cover. Oh and am I correct when you say it should *dry*, like air dry then apply the cover ?

Ahh.... to be 40 again, I'm pulling it with a trailer hitch ! I did hear that 60 is the new 40, so by my calculations, I'm 29 and you my dear Dolly, are 20 !!!! Some of the other members wished me a Happy B-Day, I ask them if the could join me in a toast at 6:46 pm EST (beverage of their choice), I will be officially 49, no ! 29 ! Liz B)

  17. Thank you, and Happy Birthday (tomorrow).... You can find EW at www.love-scent.com. If you want to read more about pheromones, including EW, check out www.smartmones.com and go to the forum.

DDDDOOOLLLLYYYEEEEEE :blink:B);):blink: !! yes I like that face as well, I make that face quite a bit, I 'm really uninformed, uneducated and unaware of scents, their availability, etc... and so on. I did go on the love-scents.com and smartmones.com, both quite interesting. Oh, and the forum, apparently I've been living in a cave ! Dolly ! you may have single handedly-sp? created a *monster*. I'm very curious to try EOW ! Question ? the cover scent, should it be bold ? or can it be delicate ? I vary, as I imagine most woman do, in any case would you say, experiment alittle ? What a great way to begin a new year (49). Hope you don't mind all the questions. Liz
