luna65
A soul! A soul! A soul-cake! Please good Missis, a soul-cake! A centuries-long custom in the British Isles and other regions of paying tribute to and reflecting upon our departed loved ones, here now is a freshly-baked take on the warm deliciousness of this tradition, to be worn on All Souls’ Day as well as any time this Fall in which to feel cozy and loving. The rites of Souling involved distributing soul-cakes to those wandering from door-to-door on All Hallows Eve and predates our modern-day observances of Halloween. Our fragranced interpretation is a recipe of oatmeal and raisins blended with eggs, cream and nutmeg, then sweetened with maple and iced with a blend of fluffy buttercream. OATS ~ Prosperity, abundance, sustenance, money spells. EGG ~ A representation of the world or the womb. Fertility, nourishment, cycle of life, feminine energy. MILK/BUTTER/CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy. VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing. (RAISIN) GRAPE ~ Fertility, increases mental prowess, money attracting. MAPLE ~ Love attraction, longevity; money attractant. NUTMEG ~ Strengthens clairvoyance, luck, money, health, fidelity.
