This one is definitely in my top three favorites of the designing August....I wore this yesterday evening to dinner and the movies and I couldn't stop smelling myself...tis wonderful...I think I may have to hoard this one....definitely gonna get 2 more bottles, just waiting the bargains bin sale to start so as not to make too many orders.

IMO this is a great all year round scent.

Personally - I've got my hand up for 2X Cougar. :-)!!!!

 

Since that one is all about creating a sparkly/sassy/look at me vibe - the alcohol - with the faster diffusion - should really be ideal for social/party settings. Like a big date night. Or someplace where you will be around a bazillion people and want to be SMOKIN'.

 

That wouldn't be something you could unleash at the office - who could get any work done?! I'd feel so full of myself I don't think I could function. :-)

 

But - for what's it's worth - my regular strength A-nol in alcohol spray? (Already available here - duh - it's where I got it. :-)!!!) Awesome. Just perfect. A couple squirts on my wrists and the back of my neck - and people are so cheerful and happy. I do like to have fun/happiness and laughter around - I'm not happy if everyone isn't cracking up - so it's just perfect. Speaking of which - I think when I'm done typing - I'm giving myself some sprays. It's gray and raining so a little fun would be good.

 

I'm not trying to get a drunken stupid affect - just a cheerful affect. And the regular A-Nol in alcohol is just perfect for that. I could see that being really popular with folks in a service industry - where a good mood can lead to increased tips.

I adore this one. The smell of Ginger and cream... I hadn't thought I would prefer this to Neanderlicious but I do!!! I get flirted with a LOT when I have this one on. This is one of those I wish would get rebrewed. I wear it quite a bit but would wear more often if I had hoarded in time. :-)

Djac - Mr. Shelly told me I smelled like I hadn't bathed in days. Roflmao. Thinking that particular blend of musks might just be *too* much. Rolfmao - again.

 

Luna - I don't have my book of perfume reviews by Luca Turin handy - the Kindle is out of juice - but wasn't there a classic animalic that smelled like unwashed balls and considered polemical but brilliant. Maybe someone needs to send a sniffie to Luca to get his thoughts.

 

I can't remember laughing as hard at anything onscreen as Lynn and TG's reports. Sighs. Too funny. I wi say I might were it to aggravate Mr. Shelly but I would not wear it when I wanted to be considered smoking hot by others. For that OCCO Red plus NSD is crazy great.

 

Oddly enough on my trip out - women were nicer and more overtly friendly and men looked at me funny. Go figure. What the heck do I know?!

Ok ladies, I RARELY give a negative review I am sure to blame it on my wonky chemistry. So be sure to know that what is about to follow is my fault, and has no reflection on the perfume goddesses who make out lovelies. Good goddess this stinks like hell on me!!!! It smells like crusty unwashed little kid butts! I am so serious, if any of you have ever worked a church nursery or daycare, or heard the dreaded yell from a neighborhood kid from your bathroom "COME WIPE ME", and when you get there it is evident that they didn't have help LAST time!! Seriously, do you guys smell like this after a wild sex night?? OMFG!!! I must be doing it wrong! My body makes this the nastiest, unwashed homeless person smell that you can ever imagine!! My SO kept looking at me funny, and finally I had to wash it off!! He tried it on so I could see how it smelled on someone else, and I also got a tinge of Comet cleanser off of him! Now it isn't that I dislike all dirty scents, Bacchanalia is really the only one I don't tolerate, I LOVE Sexology, HAM, Naughty, Sweet and Dirty, but there is something in this that REALLY hates me!!! I am glad that it loves some of you, because I know the ladies never make a clunker, but BOY HOWDY, it ain't for me!!!!

and now that I have wiped the liquid from my CP screen and picked myself up out of the chair that I fell out of cause I was and still am laughing sooooo damn hard...oh TG, Girl, I got tears rolling down my eyes and i am trying not to laugh out loud cause the nosy hubby will me all over me trying to see what the heck is so funny....girrrl you so silly, oh my stomach and my head is hurting and my jaws are about to break off...

I concur w/ Luna. Maybe it is the setting you are wearing TH in. It might not be a good idea to wear a deep bonding pheromone @ work. There tends to be alot of if not outright negativity, @ the very least tension & direct critiscism in the medical field. You're in a very high pressure job! TH is more of a family bonding blend.

Wow...learn something new everyday... I will stop wasting my TH by wearing to work then... I too work in the medical field.

Yes, it is womanly, and a very nice blend......and I concur....it just smells.....purple. I love it!

Ladies...oooooh this purple one is the bomb ain't it... I finally got my package yesterday, that I didn't even realize was on my porch the whole night before, and I was able to revisit this one as I initially had traded off my 1/2 bottle from the split with TG and only got a chance to sniff it.

But um...WOW!... I thought OCCO Gold was my favorite, but nope...tis OCCO Purple... and the funny thing is with these OCCO's once the drydown is over (which ain't bad in itself) but afterwards these smell sooooo damn great you don't need anyother scent... I wore this one today and I couldn't stop smelling myself...

this is very womanly very very womanly!...it is the bomb...so now maybe I need to trade off some of my many bottles of Gold and White and swap for some purple or at least go get me a couple more bottles ((hint hint for anyone who wants to swap some purple for some White or Gold) ...If it were not for the cops, I'd prolly wear this one everyday as my only scent.

Ladies...this one is my fav out of the DA bunch...then Cocamama and Pandamaniac tie

but anyway...this is so feminine and gorgeous...wet it started out a lil strong, but as it settled it started to marinate and morph into this incredibly tender yet sexy scent...it is soft and not loud, but more of a come closer to me my love...it is floral (delicate floral) fruit (but not sweet fruity), vanilla (soft creamy feel)

I hope someone hurry up and reviews this one cause I am crap with descriptions...but I do know that once your man/lover gets a whiff of this on you, he is not likely to forget this scent...

this is also a scent for those of us ladies who have to be selective about what we wear to work...this can be worn to work...

but it is definitely sultry and sexy enough for evening wear...

this may possibly become my signature scent. and I say that with all sincerity...I thought my signature scent would be my own Misty White Orchid...but my goodness, this is sooooo much better... Ladies y'all did a fabulous job with this one...scent and intentions.

I don't mean to be a tease to those of you who haven't gotten your Designing August orders yet, but I just opened mine and have smelled them all in the vial, and I must say they are all absolutely breathtaking! I have Eternal Chain on my hand, it's the only one i have tried yet as I am waiting for my guy to play with me, and I have to tell you, on first sniff I was in love! I also got teary, because by now I know the scents my fella is going to like, and he is going to LOVE this. It just feels so special, like it was meant to be! After my divorce I have had real issues with trust, and the intent of this one really is important to me. I am so happy it smells so beautiful as well!

I will review all the scents in the review section, but I just wanted to let you know that there isn't anything that is not gorgeous in the bunch! Thank you Mara and Danna for making our dreams come true!!

On me it started out green and floral. Dry down turned it to baby powder. But that's probably just my chemistry. Florals and greens tend to go awry on me.

Okay so I have tried this one properly on one arm...

I initially smelled a sample and immediately traded away...silly silly me....

I like this... I get lots of vanilla and yes lots of coconut and combined this is just yummy...I know that some of the reviews kinda referred to this as a beachy scent, but I can easily see this as a perfect scent on a chilly fall day, underneath a turtleneck, or even a cozy winter night in front of the fireplace... I am really liking this

also great layered with OCCO white and sugared french vanilla

I initially put this up on my trade, but it's coming off of there...as i will definitely use this one during the fall and winter

Oooooh, I really like this one...it fruity, and slightly sweet and though it has some incense, the incense is way in the background for me, like maybe just enough to add some depth to the light fruit and the light sweet...it's just the right amount of blend to make this absolutely delicious...OMG, I have this on my arm and I keep sniffing cause it is sooooo wonderful....it is gorgeous actually

With all that I have after this helluva sale, i really believed I was done ordering for awhile. But nope, I had to go grab me another bottle of this...so surprised there are not more reviews for this one...

I am finding that going into and experiencing some of the older scents is like having a whole bunch of new toys to play with and finding some yummy, lovely wonderful scents and rediscovering some new loves.

ps...yes, djac is playing in the goody box again (all morning actually...hehehehe)

I can't wait for these to be ready for purchase...this is gonna be fabulous with fall and winter soon to come in...

This was my first experience with LP products and it was a wonderful experience at that. On me initially, this is slightly powdery with a hint of lemon and a strong resin smell. After about five minutes, it dies down very nicely. Faint powdery sweetness, hint of citrus and rose and a soft spice. Not too strong at all. Also not too powdery on me, which I love.

 

I was afraid it would be to strong, so I used about a 6 inch roll on the inner arm and then rubbed onto my other arm. It turned out to be the perfect amount.

 

It makes me feel exotic and sexy. It actually makes me smile when I "get a whiff" of myself.

I couldn't quite figure out how to describe this one...but you captured it exactly for me...not too strong and the rose and incense are not too strong either...it dries down really really nicely on me...faint powdery sweetness...I am really enjoying this one.
