  1. Necro'ing yet another old thread (I'm just a necromancer around here...) to say I bought a bottle unsniffed since it recently ended up on the artfire site. Pretty confident I'll like it since I haven't come across a honey I don't like yet....

and also, the label was just too alluuuuuuring.....

Which leaves me to ponder, if we have a "Queen of Bees" label, then is it possible to have a Jorogumo or Spider Queen label?! I'd buy one in a heartbeat even if the notes were poop, skunk, and aged toilet water with a dash of durian.

  2. Necroing a review thread! I have 2 wee vials of this from previous purchases. I smelled it before and thought "that's nice," but now it's the only thing I wear since I ran out of my sample of LP Red (in 2 days)' which is what REALLY revved my engines.

On me it's heavy maple and maybe even brown sugars, a lil 'nilla and a powdery resin beneath. Very chewy and delectable! It's serving its purpose as a LP Red replacement until my full bottle comes, ahahahaha.

  3. Just can't wait for this! I loved Stealing Heaven....I'm hoping this one will be just as light, if not lighter and airier!

I was worried this one would sell out quick, so I opted for a full roller bottle.

I'm not sure how grapefruit blossoms smell, but it's not the same as the fruit right?

Also I really wonder how a meringue/whipped egg whites translates to a scent (versus a normal egg?)

  4. Man, I was gonna wait until my previous order arrived in the mail so that I could order the full sizes of samples I ordered, but....

I'm worried about Levitation running out with the popularity it's already receiving!

So I ordered full bottle just now, along with samples of Sands of the Nile, Bedeviled, and Seer... as well as fb of Road Opener for intent. Looking for a job change :::: P

  5.

Good to know. So does that smell green with maybe a hint of tobacco to it?

Hmmm, not green at all, no. It smells more dry. Like sniffing an unlit expensive cigar.

Ooooh...as long as it's not lit, I love it.

If it's too masculine, I can see it as a good layering option for sweet scents to give them a depth.

  6. Oh my goodness....

I can't wait for my other order to grt here so that I can do another lump order after sampling what I want >>>><<<<

Definitely getting fb for Levitation, and gonna try Sands of the Nile and Bedeviled. I absolutely LOVE pipe tabacco notes!

(and I'm a lifelong fan of patchy.)

  7. This scent is mildly green and herby with a hint of flowers, but with also a laundry sheet kind of clean on me! I wish it remained more organic, and I'm not even sure what's causing it to make me smell like Bounce....

I have been complimented by others on this scent though! Perhaps I should layer with a drip of patchouli EO to bring some earthiness to this mix....

  8. I am very lucky that this chocolate came out well! I get a dark powdery chocolate on top, with a syrupy canned peach peeping in and out of the honey base.

I'm kind of young and can't wear too much cops, but even for the scent of this a little goes a long way! I just put a lil inch dab between my bewbs and rub them together, then I'm filled with honeyed cocoa powder in my shirt forever! Mmmmmhhh....

I'm so glad this chocolate didn't turn poopy on me, because a certain well-known commercial perfume (coughAngelcough) certainly smelled like poop that someone tried to cover with a vanilla-scented spray!

  9. I absolutely love this scent! It is dark, syrupy honey...almost molasses-like on me....but!

unfortunately, I have been single for 7 years now, so there is no opportunity for me to wear this, and!

my sister detects a note in there that I cannot smell myself, and she says it smells like peepee. huh.

  10. Oh my goodness....

I HATE any flowery smells besides tuberose, and I ABSOLUTELY ABHOR all aquatic/ozonic scents because all they smell like are harsh chemicals, but....

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the scent in this!! I never smelled blue lotus before, but if the "watery floral" in the top note is what it is, It is gorgeous!

This flower is sharp and peppery, with only the slightest trace of flowery sweetness. The aquatic smell seems to be a part of the flower itself!

My only only wish is that the top note lasted much much longer! it settles down completely in about an hour and a half, and I'm left with a whispy, powdery (almost sugary) musk.

    overall A+ scent.

  11. one of the first ones I purchased! Ehehehehe :::: D

I got it mostly because of the classical music reference, but also for when I wanna put on the "confident girl" mask.

It smells verrrry syrupy on me; the dark ambers and musk meld with the cassis (which turns into cherry filling on me) to make this a very dark, viscous (not viscious!) scent on me. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but hot damn does it make me feel CONFIDENT.

  12. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I will surely enjoy my stay here.

oh my goodness, there's another spidery themed perff out....fffffff...

Also, I see I emerged just in time for the April releases.... all of them look amazing, and I'm a sucker for this theme....

    Man, I'm gonna spend. ::::D

Welcome to the ranks of the LP-obsessed! Right there with ya! I'd post pretty welcome pictures only I'm on my phone and really don't know how to do so with the mobile format....

And... Salt accord? You don't say... Off to scour the Etsy site for salt layering options...

(I dunno if I should mention other perfy's products here, but if I wasn't supposed to I'll delete this portion)

The salty accord I use is "Salty Breeze" by TheGardenBath. She only does very linear single notes and accords, so I don't consider her in the same competition as LPMP anyways...

  13. Aloha everybody!

I just wanted to say, addiction is a powerful thing.

I've only jumped into the dimension of perfumes a year prior, and into Love Potion at the end of February this year (can't really stay hooked on mainstream commercial stuff).

I'll be honest, I was only interested in Love Potions for dabbling in pheros inexpensively. Well I got waaaay more than I bargained for. I fell in love with the 'living,' organic scents, that I began wearing the blends more for their scent than anything! So far I have:

    Sexology (scented)

    Sex & Violins

    Goddess of the Blue Moon

    Bosom Bows

    Lap of Luxury

    Stealing Heaven

    Pouncing Potion

all in oil rollers. Also have SS4W straight up (60/40) for actual experimenting, ehehe.... I promised myself I'd stay within the phero'd line for their added benefits.... but "unfortunately" my last order came with a sample of LP RED mixed in the generous grab of samples...and Oh Em Jee. I just had to have this scent!!!

So I hopped back on just 10 minutes ago and ordered a full bottle of LP Red, and samples of all-stars

LP Original, LP Black, Honeyed LP, Sugared Honeycombs, and Spider Silk 2012 (I'm a sucker for unique names and descriptions, as well as real spiders, heehee)

Scrod clammit, somebody tell me to stop already! I just ordered 5 samples from an etsy brewery too!!

ps - speaking of etsy perfumes, there's a simple, single accord perfume (of salt) that I just absolutely love layering with foodie sweet LPMP samples (like Tarot: Empress) to make salty sweet combos! Mmmm-mmh!!!
