  1. I know this is a side note because it's not related to pheromones, but I noticed when I've gotten down in the dumps that a few things helped me:

    1. If I was feeling illogically angry and would lash out, most of the time I was deficient in Vitamin D. I'd supplement with vitamin D3 20,000-50,000 IUs a day for a few days and be fine. In fact, I could feel a difference shortly after taking the first dose. People's Pharmacy has a great podcast on vitamin D.

    2. When I was feeling depressed a lot this past year, I kept tinkering around with supplements or activities like hot and cold showers. I did feel some difference with hot and cold showers (increases blood circulation--great to do in the summer time, and why polar bear swimmers in the winter tend to be very happy :) ) However, what a multi-B vitamin worked really well, but it wasn't until I was researching amino acids that I found the perfect combo for me. I was thinking I needed tryptophan or something like that, but that didn't really work for me. What did it, and I don't remember what turned me onto it, was L-Tyrosine. That with a B vitamin in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon REALLY made a big difference when I felt really sad and just not "with the world" and not wanting to have anything to do with anyone.

I don't regularly supplement with any of these because I tend to forget to take stuff every day. What I do is I supplement when I think about it, or if I start to notice rage/sadness issues-- I supplement for a few days and then I'm fine for weeks or longer.

Just a caution though: B-complex and tyrosine are a "wake up" combo. These shouldn't be taken anytime within 12 hours of going to bed, so most people (from what I remember reading) who supplement with this, stick with mainly just a morning dose. Sometimes a really early afternoon dose in the case of, I believe, body builders.

Ohh Miss Hazel, I can SO realte to this. I am on and off of it too. I get reminded by the ugly, mean and evil sad moods. This is why I am always seeking out the HAPPY pheros! :)

  2. G2!!! Said it before & I will say it again. This blend is more like a popularity potion effect for straight women. Open Windows, Heart & Soul, in addition to G2 are great for creating camaraderie between women. This can be more difficult in female relationships because society conditions us to feel competitive with each other. A lot of other blends here are also good for attracting positive attention, but I feel like they tend to give us a glow in more of an elevated way, & may (in rare instances) garner a jealous type of admiration from other women, which is a double edged sword.

So true about the whole conditioning of Society to make women feel jealous and competetive with each other. It's so sad. many of us have lost our sense of sisterhood. Taking this mentality to the extreme, I have a rather quirky female friend who recently declared that she hated an actress because she did so many topless scenes. Umm wtf MUCH??? I really hate that this happens and I am so not there.

  3. Sadly as much as I love them, many of the dark fruits/berries can go a bit cough syrupy on me, but it seems to really depend on what they are blended with. I remember having this problem with Nox. It smelled lovely in the bottle but once on my skin, it went toward the medicinal end of the spectrum. I let it rest for a while, tried again and had the same problem. I let a friend try it and it smelled BEAUTIFUL on her!!! Blame my wonky skin chemistry, because the Nox was just incredible on her. I think if resins outweigh the fruit, they are completely doable on me.

  4. Hi Stacy, LFN is fantastic in small doses.. a flutter in the tummy, head turner for afterhours, keeps your man grabbing after you and leads to mind blowing, darker, emotional boudoir activity.

KrazyKat has me sold on at least a trial vial of this tuff. I just have to smell it and see it "at work". ;)

  5. :thank-you: Hi Storemy and Miss Hazel! I just wanted to let you know that I emailed the very busy and innundated Mara ( poor woman must be frazzled beyond belief) to provide you with my email/contact info. I assured her that there was no pressure and to do this at her convenience. Once that is done, we can all sort out what to do next. I think we have the beginning of a plan!

  6. LOL!!!! I adore Levitation cchristy, but I have yet to find anything that instills that much motivation and energy in me other than waiting until the very last minute to do something when I have no choice! BTW, what brand of dish liquid is that? I usually use unscented but for THAT scent I could change. (sighs) Isn't it beautiful?

  7.

Whoops, sorry MissHazel, didn't see that. My bad.

Rose, if you want to try it, I'd be happy to send you a sample of it. I have a vial I can fill up for you. Let me know if you want to request an email swap. From the sound of it, I think you will like it like I do. :D

Holy smoke! I can't even imagine how this was brand new and yet... it gives me some bit of hope. I'm still holding out on Everything Nice and that one day, we shall live in peace together.

Aww Storemy that's so sweet of you. I would *love* to try it, how do we work this out? and BTW, <<HUGS>> :)

I was about to say if your ISO doesn't turn up something I'd be happy to just claim one Jouir De for myself or send you one if I got two my way.

just holler on my trade page if I don't check back here.

MissHazel, you're too sweet also. Wow, I am learning that one's LP sisters are the best. You all rock! I guess to avoid confusion and complicating things and Storemy replied first, I will very gratefull take her up on her offer. But really, both of you, thank you, thank you, thank you! :kisses:

  8. THANK YOU BB!!! This is just the kind of info I needed. I am sending two editions of The Witches' Almanac in which I have published articles to someone who might be able to give me more writing work, so maybe Miss Hazel, your idea of a bookmark ( I could make one that included a pic of me ) would be just the thing! Now..does anyone have any suggestions to add to the OW to help things along even more? I so appreciate how helpful you have been ladies. HUGS! :)
