  1. Thanks GL.

I probably left out details, but I'm looking for something to put on my skin before applying pheros and perfumes. I think this is for mixing isn't it? Or could this be used as a way to prevent absorption of both pheros and perfumes?

    My preferred skin barriers ....

    Can't stop laughing!

  2. I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it after several search attempts. So, move this if needed.

With the cooler temps and the drier skin that goes with it, my skin has become a sponge! I remember reading somewhere that there was something you could put on your skin at the application sites to help create a sort of barrier to minimize absorption. Does anyone remember what it is? Or have recommendations for what I could use?

    Thanks loves.

  3. Wow on DN!! Although I enjoy the fragrance, this is more about the effect. Dominance normally makes be a bit ... um ... well, it makes me a bit of a jerk and I have to stay away from people until it passes. HOWEVER, Dom Noire is not that way. I've only had it in Sex & Violins before and that's when it was a no-go. Dom N. is wonderful. I feel confident and pleasant. When the ole' mones are off and the emo's are making me feel weak and wimpy, it totally makes those icky feelings melt away. I feel balanced and wonderfully normal!!!

I also really like the aroma part of Dom N too!! It's quickly making it's way to the top of my faves list. I may be in love ;)

Now, my curiosities are whether the difference is the aroma aspect or the cops, because I do tend to get some sort of playful kind of boost from cops too. Maybe it's the combo. Needless to say, I was quite surprised find myself thinking fb. I love surprises!

  4. LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!

The amber is softened beautifully by the vanilla. They're soulmates in this one! The phero/fragrance is wonderful and are soooooo soothing. I didn't realize I had tension until feeling it melt away after this beauty! Mmmmmm ....

I can't smell the lavender, but I often use lav essential oil neat ... soooo, it may be too subtle for this hard core lav user to detect.

Really loving everything I've tried so far .... ah, not enough spots on my arm to try them all at once. Hey, is there a patience phero? Hahaha ....

  5. On days when I need the flexibility to quickly remove pheros, I use a scent locket. I cut up a quilted cotton round (the kind for removing nail polish) into 8 pieces like a pizza, and then gently move the roller ball around it until it is drenched, that takes about a drop of oil. The locket gets plenty warm from my body heat (it's metal) as I know from wearing scented pheros. I got mine from Michael's (the framing and arts store). It's difficult to overdose with this method, because the sliver of cotton wouldn't really absorb much more than a drop of oil before it started dripping out of my locket. I have also held it to the nozzle of a spray and drenched it that way.

I work with the public and so I do like the flexibility of this method. I can also 'touch up' easily towards evening or throw out the cotton and start with something new. I don't have to worry about how long the pheros are lasting on my skin, or whether they are being interfered with by my body chemistry.

This still isn't very precise, but maybe something for you to consider when trying out a new blend and being worried about being able to completely remove it if it doesn't agree with you.

Love this idea! Have you ever used the earring lockets?

  6. I haven't seen this mentioned, but Gotcha can take the edge off for me. So, if you have that one on hand, it may be something you could use until your next order.

Another thought I have this on my list to try, but haven't ordered this one yet(so many to choose:), must space them out). The stories sound like they may help with your situation - wax melts for Thanksgiving. Maybe some of the seasoned pro's here can weigh in on what will give the happy, relaxed vibe for the day.

    Best of luck, hon!

  7. I haven't noticed any hits yet, but have only had limited field testing. HOWEVER, this baby was my best friend tonight. Not sure if it's hormones or life, but I've been feeling emotionally charged lately. Tonight I got the bright idea to dig through my phero collection to see if any would be helpful. Voile! Gotcha takes that edge off and puts my feet back on the ground. Lovin' some Gotcha right now!!

  8. I've worn Topper with Rocket Fuel, and the Rock Star vibe gets an interesting twist, in the way of very intense reactions from the guys. It's all fun and laughter and bantering, and at some moment there comes this look, this point where men will gaze into your eyes a bit too long, and that stare says something like: gee, I wonder if you're this much fun between the sheets, too, honey...

So, use with care. It's fun if you can handle it, but you have to know what you're doing.

Good to know! Btw, I see the Nov NR's, but thought I remembered seeing something about UN's going on sale in the month of Nov also. Do you know if that's on for this year? I've been away, so may have missed mention of it.

  9. mine is always ol. I have no problem with dispersion since I live in a tropical climate.

lalaDinky ... I'm often traveling between tropical and sub-tropical climates. I've gotten most figured out with subs, but the tropical climate seems a bit more tricky. Of course, some of that may also be compounded with being outside more while in the tropics. Any tips?

  10. I've noticed lately that I've been amping something in MRF 1. and MRF 3 that I do not like. I think it might be patchouli. I can't describe the smell other than it smells like old lady clothes on me or like old lace doilies that have been locked in a closet for years. I hope it was just my cycle that was causing this because I do love how number #3 used to smell like cotton candy on me.

LV - Could it be the change in weather? This is just a thought, and I ask because I'm currently on the road and in a much more humid enviroment than at home. I can't trust how I've known things to react and have to test things like it's the first time because of how they react with my skin here is different than at home. Ie, BBM, which I love, still goes on yummy but turns to some weird plastic-like smell and that smell lingers. On an upnote, there were SEVERAL that had amped incense to an over-the-top level before coming here. Now, those BLOOM into some really amazing euphoria-producing scents and produce a combo of bliss and soothing. It's quite delicious!

Getting back to your topic, if where you are has suddenly gotten a bit hotter (or colder depending on hemisphere), it may be reacting differently with your skin because of weather. The good news, if that's the cause then you can wear that lovely again when the seasons change back.

This makes me wonder if it might be a good idea to re-test all fragrances with the seasons. There may be some winter faves and summer faves that are season sensitive.
