Congratulations on the great results, LoveStruck!!! How many sprays did you use to get those fantastic benefits?

Treasured Hearts is the first "spray" form of phero I ordered, primarily because I was in a panic over an upcoming gathering with my bristley, bitchy in-laws. It worked wonderfully, keeping both my MIL and SIL at bay and perhaps more importantly, allowing me to feel like I had a force-field around me that would deflect any sudden cattiness (something that is a usual occurence).

 

I've used it since in other social situations, and it does just have a nice feel-good vibe about it. I layered it over Cougar, Ambrosial Summer, Feral and Atomic Mandarin (not together - 4 different times) and every single time I had someone tell me how great I smell and ask what I was wearing! Not an overly social, chatty effect from TH, just a "roll with it" kinda feel.

 

Thanks to all the forum experts who came to my rescue with the suggestion of this one when I asked for advice on my (impending) in-law invasion.

Considering how Halo explainef it, I can see the incongruence. Such a great base of experience here. Thanks for sharing !

Has anyone added Topper to a phero that didn't do much for you before? Wondering if it could take a meh response from a phero to a yippeeeeeeee ? Anyone tried this yet?

I went with lots of "sexy" pheros originally only to find my hubs responds to bonding blends better...with a smidge of the shmexies thrown in. So everyone is different and responds to different things. A lot of the fun is figuring out "who" to "what" Looks like you're on the right track though! ^_~

That is so interesting. Wonder if it could be personality related? It makes me wonder about other pheros too. Ah, so many questions. Lol

Has anyone tried that before now? How was it different than when using just Gotcha?

Also, we all have pheros that work better for us than others. For pheros that haven't gotten the expected hits, has anyone tried them again with Topper? There are a couple of pheros where I would love to get the the effects noted for that phero and am wondering if adding Topper would kick it up to getting that effect.

Of course, I'm still in the learning curve with each phero and it may just be that I need more time with finding the sweet spot. I get so excited that I tend to switch pheros quickly to see what the next one will do. (Gotta start making notes! ) Still wondering if Topper might shorten the curve for the more tricky ones.

ETA: Of course, field testing that question sounds like fun times to be had!! And, my bottle's on its way!!!

I had the funniest hit tonight. I had gone for a quick run to the grocery store, but had forgotten that I had put on some TH anticipating a potentially charged situation earlier in the evening. (Fortunately, it went well and nada drama. Thanks, TH!) I was trying to cross the road to get into the store. It was a busy time of day and I was waiting for a truck to pass when the gentleman stopped so I could cross. I waved the courtesy "thank you" wave and started across when he stuck his head out the window and yelled something to me. It turns out he had his window down AND he was down wind!!! I did have on a ton of TH, but I was shocked. Then, as I was crossing I looked up and saw an angry looking woman glaring at me from the passenger seat. (I guess she didn't get the whiff. lol)

At that point all I could think was to laugh at the whole thing (out of site, of course) and about sharing with my friends here at the LP forum ... who would be likely to laugh too!

(btw, I don't remember what he yelled except I remember being grateful it wasn't inappropriate. Maybe that was with the help of the TH too? )

OMGOsh - pheros are fun!!

SS4W makes me feel slinky and sassehhhh. I'm not sure what it does for others - I'm too busy enjoying the selfies.

Having worn Gotcha a few more times and having read the description of Topper, I can see how the two might be incongruent. There are so many things that seem to match well with Topper - think I'll wear Gotcha solo and reserve Topper for the more fun, upbeat times.

I concur with missdaryncherie, I've had my Topper for a week now, and the results have been really great. I will combine it with all my other phero scents and make diligent notes how the combinations work out. So far, Topper with Cougar: over the top rock star experience. And adoration by the scores...

Maroon - What other pheros have you worn with Topper?

So I am not sure if you decided yet but of course Topper has my vote! It's one of my top pheros...love the self effects the most! I want so many of my summer scents boosted with this in sprays I just can't afford them all!! But I am a great responder to Alpha Nol. I generally wear Topper all on its own but I have worn it with Cuddle Bunny and love it. I have worn it over Pizzazz (Cougar) to over the top results! But when I say "over the top" I don't mean that in a negative way! If I am setting out with Topper on I want to feel over the top!

 

I wouldn't wear it to work if I worked in a serious situation. I work in a salon so I can get away with it but it might be TOO over the top if you are a criminal investigator or some such thing.

I just bought it this weekend! And, was wondering how it went with CB. Hadn't thought of Cougar, but I have it too ... soooo, time to play!!

I don't do well with Cougar at all, and Lumina is hit or miss with me. I really seemed to get effects with AHE, Not so much with the Un. I quit bothering with both of those (Cougar and Lumina) when I realized that Topper gave me all the sparkle I had wanted from those two. Topper effects me the way everyone else describes Cougar!

And Gotcha is such a mood enhancer for me but in a different way than Topper. It makes me very friendly and keeps me from getting irritated, calms but at the same time makes me way upbeat. I've been loving it for work.

At this point, Topper and Gotcha are my two favorite go to socials.

I use Cuddle Bunny with Topper all the time and I love that combo.

Would the extra EST a bad thing?

CB & Topper sounds like a brilliant combo!! I'd been debating on whether to get Topper or DHEAS. After reading this I can see those two creating amazing effects and ... decided to order the Topper.

The difference between Topper & straight DHEAS for me, is that the a-nol seems to balance out the DHEAS nicely for me. Otherwise DHEAS on it's own, or too much of it can kick my anxiety into high gear. I've always used humor to deal with my anxiety & resulting panic attacks, so I think the kick of happy that comes from a-nol tempers the DHEAS for me.

Helpful to know, Beccah! Do you ever feel like the Topper puts you over the top with a-nol when used with a heavy a-nol blend?

Beaver=focus potion?

I chuckled with this one. My first thought with Beaver wasn't Focus Potion, but more along the naughty lines of cops.

I still cant decide if I should get Topper or DHEAS single to make me more sparkly . Calm and upbeat it so true . I think its why its such a great bonding blend. It just turns you into the person people love to be around .

When I have my PE done I will let you know and hopefully they might make a few extras and you can try one. I need to do some more reading on it and decide which ingredients so it may be a month or two before it's done. Right now I'm looking towards NR!!! So excited!!

I'm trying to decide which to get in my next order. I've seen discussions of each, but not much comparison info. So, for those wonderful phero experts who have both, can you lend any info on the different effects?

Another question I have is about Topper. I love the idea of both Anol and DHEAS in one blend, but wonder if I would need to be careful when using it with Anol blends??? Thoughts o' wise ones???

This is VERY relaxing. It does for me what I had hoped Teddy BB would do - which Teddy BB does, but not consistently so far. Will test both a few more times, but the relaxing feeling is nice!

Yep, I tend to just spray this one straight in my face with eyes closed. I have the UN in 60:40 alcohol/silicone, so it's a bit gross and oily at first, but I rub it around a bit and it sinks in. Once I had the bright idea of trying to spritz it kind of up my nose, but from a distance (so I wasn't phero-snorting or anything). That was kind of a weird mistake. No nostrils were harmed in the course of this experiment, but it was less than pleasant and- it occurs to me now- more than slightly insane.

 

Don't phero-snort kids. Just say no.

Ironic to read this today. I was doing the 5-6 like Ducky mentioned, but today opted for straight in the face, eyes closed with 3 sprays. And, no, no phero-snorting was done.

 

And yep, I have a pile of products right now with "secret" ingredients, including some I recently got in a trade because I hadn't really thought this whole thing through carefully. I have only recently come to realize that when other companies talk of secret molecules, they are probably researching hormones. It is unethical in my book and I will never do business with them again, or purchase a proprietary secret phero blend.

I'm hesitant with "secret" blends as well. I've used them, even recently, but am starting to question what I can't find in an ingredients label.

I draw the line with dosing other people with hormones.

 

In nature, pheromones are transmitted from one individual to another as volatiles through the air. Hormones are not. Hormones have disproportionally large consequences from tiny concentrations, so changing the amount of hormones in one's body can be a really serious thing, not at all like getting a whiff of androstenol, for example. People get dosed with pheromones in social situations all the time. People do not get dosed with hormones from their environment or from other people under normal circulmstances.

 

Also, the effects of pheromones in humans are generally very subtle mood modulators. So subtle that it has been quite difficult to even prove their existance. The fact that pregnenolone has made some people have depressed crying spells says enough for me. Would I experiment with something like that in my own body, as an oral supplement? Maybe. But how could I wear something like this to a party or to work and do that to other people without their knowledge?

 

When you dose yourself with an artificial hormone or hormone precursor it is one thing, maybe a good idea, maybe not, but dosing someone else's body with even a tiny amount of a hormone without their consent is just something I would not do.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Wondering ... would wearing Gotcha influence another person along the same lines as wearing a doctor prescribed transdermal hormone cream? ie, you would have to be care of where you put in and how you may have personal contact with someone?

I always get excited and feel like I've gotten a secret love letter when the email arrives that says "Cataluna LPMP has sent you a package". Does anyone else get that kind of excitement? Of course, when the package comes I smell everything knowing that after the 3rd or so they will start smelling alike. I still try. lol

Ooo, thanks, NuTrix. I'm a bit of a foodie too ... though LP has made me appreciate florals much more! So many floral perfumes have sharp edges. LPs are so smooth it still surprises me every time. I keep smelling them to see if they will turn sharp, but time after time ... soothingly smooth!
