I think 2 orders have arrived since I thanked you for all of the wonderful products and goodies!! I absolutely loved all of the perfumes and the bunny & carrot on the sampler was too cute!! You are too generous!! One thing I never worry about with LPMP is if my order is correct..with all of the craziness of me asking for boosted bottles from LPMP and Artfire and hold this for a week, etc....everything has always arrived perfectly and I can't tell you how much that means to me!!! I have another package arriving in a few days (got notice today) and I am sooo excited about the NRs!!!

***The other thing I want to thank you for is the rebrew of LP White!! I know you brewed it for everyone, but it meant a lot that you did it just now when I was asking about it. I plan to take full advantage and stock up as I said I would in posts...and I won't be asking about anymore rebrews (well, except for New on down the road..lol;)) ...I understand now, after what Luna was saying, that there will be NRs that I will love as much so I will keep looking forward!! I really do love your perfumes and I admire you so much for being able to create them!! Thank you and John and your staff for always being so fantabulous!! Cheers!! Jill

When I first became a member of this forum and read how excited everyone was when his/her package was shipped, I didn't get it....well, It didn't take long for me to get it.............

I got my shipping notice today and the New Releases are on their way!!!! Wahoooooo.... Yipeeeeeee!! OMGosh I can't wait!!!

Mara told me it would be closer to Gypsum White than LP White. I'm very excited about that!

My heart just started beating fast!! lol I love Sneaky Clean, Gypsum and LP White so this has to be a winner for me!!! Olderbutwiser....this one you are going to love!! We are kindred Gypsum spirits.. . . I absolutely love the white florals...very excited!! Sampler...please get here soon!!!

Mara's wax melts are to die for!! I ordered a whole slew of them a few weeks ago and have been using them daily!! I'm going to have to be more conservative now as they are running out!

Out of 5-6 different ones I ordered, I have tried so far the Summertime Sparkle w/anol and, the Aloha w/anol. When I first saw them I thought they were small and was worried that they wouldn't be able to provide fragrance/pheros to all of my living room (about 18x20ft), but when I tried the first one I realized that they not only spread fragrance throughout my living room, but also the rest of my 1 bedroom apt! Both Summertime Sparkle and Aloha are divine!! The anol boosted my mood and made for an extraordinary day!!

I am really hoping that Mara is able to make more wax melts with phero boosts (I have to confess I snagged most of them w/anol)! There are still some great fragrances left with Topper and Balm Bomb (and others) and some unphero'd ones that smell awesome!! Can't go wrong with the wax melts!!! Truly fabulous!!

well, I am currently waiting for my June sampler and some other things, but Mara did something else wonderful...made another batch of LP White!!! Soooo, all of my plans to be conservative with a couple of fbs of the new sampler have now flown out the window!! Right now I am scheming to determine just how many bottles w/boosts of LP White I can afford at this time!!

I am beyond excited and trying to be a good girl and wait for my current order to arrive...it is killing me!!!

**To anyone who doesn't know...Mara Maravillosa has given us a new batch of LP White..it is in the system to order!!!! Thank you so much Mara..I am one happy camper!!!!

I just made another brew of this.

 

I want to make LP White a permanent offering, but there's one ingredient that after it is gone, I cannot get any more. I thought I had used it all up in the original brew, but just found it in my drawer when I was looking for a replacement! (It's the White Tea note, for the curious.) I was able to make another large edition, and after that, I've got enough to make another small brew - and then that's it. So this current rebrew is pretty darn identical to the last.

 

When eventually I have to replace that one ingredient, I will let everyone know. But for now, the cart has been restocked. Hooray!

Welcome to the forum! I also have chronic pain and a mood disorder. I use Pheros for my own mood manipulation. They work very well. DHEAS and LFM are my two favorites. High anol does not affect me mood wise anymore but huffing it can help ease my pain. I like Lace for that. Just don't use the same ones everyday or you will burnout.

halo0073...I never thought about anol for reducing pain...I have RA (the pain is unbearable sometimes) and have been using it for my depression due to not being able to get out of the house often, but I have noticed I've been feeling a little better pain wise. When you say "huffing" are you referring to the wax melts? If so, do you know if Mara has plans to make anymore? I bought out several of them with the anol and have been using them daily (there aren't any left with the anol except for the one with Topper). They have worked wonders for me...love em!!!

LoveStruck, SS4W is probably my other favourite phero besides Lumina. With SS4W I find people are extra complimentary, and I am very aware of my own attractiveness (but not in a smug arrogant way). It's more sexy than Lumina, in terms of how it makes me feel, and how others around me react. But it is also a cooler, slightly more reserved vibe. Don't get me wrong, I still like it very much as a social, but it doesn't inspire the same overwhelming desire in people around you to interact with you- it inspires them to admire you more instead, at least for me. Lumina has a natural sensuality about it, which can easily be amped to straight up sexy with more cops. But the social nature of it for me is just amazing. When I walk into work with Lumina on, people light up and automatically move toward me, wanting to interact. The enthusiasm with which I'm greeted, and the level of affection and indulgence people have for me is significantly increased. It's like I'm a better version of myself.

I'm glad to read this Birkey... I just ordered Lumina this month. I was torn between it and Popularity Potion... just couldn't get both AND the June NR I wanted.

Hey Love Struck55! I was just looking up all of the phero combos on the list...while I think of it as being a more subtle Audacious, the truth is that it compares more to SS4W. I'm not the best at explaining things, but with SS4W I feel confident, like I want to walk the catwalk. With Lumina it is more of an uplifting girlie feel...almost innocent sexy if that makes sense. Someone else on here summed it up when she said it's like Lace, SS4W, OW all combined. I get self effects closer to OW or Levitation and effects on others closer to SS4W.

You can't go wrong with Lumina! I am also wanting a Popularity Potion to add to my collection, but when I saw the Un Lumina had become available it was a no brainer for me because I know the effects of it! I know what you mean about having to decide...I went way over my limit this month on the trade forum and on LPMP/Artfire...I absolutely love everything I got! This month I will have to be more selective. I plan on getting Popularity Potion in the next 2 months, money permitting. Be sure to let us know how you like it once you get it!

I am sooo excited that Un Lumina is on the available list (even though it could have been purchased through Mad Scientist)! Lumina was one of the first phero combos I tried. It came in All Hallows Eve. I had little experience comparing pheros when I first tried it, but now I can say it is one of my favorites! For me, it is the little sister of Audacious (on sold out list). I am sure the percentages of pheros used to make both don't line up, but the desired effects for both are similar, with Lumina giving a more subtle effect. It has the best of everything...girliness from Estratetraenol, happiness and giddiness from the Alpha Androstenol and DHEAS and a little sexiness from a bit of copulins.

I think it is great for trying to get the attention of that certain someone in the office, etc. Normally I would say that copulins should be saved for outside of work, but Lumina has them in such a small amount, and in combination with the other pheros that it would do the job without causing every male to salivate and female to be bitchy with you! lol

Lumina makes me feel relaxed, feminine and sexy (but not sexual) and seems to make males and females around me want to chat. It is a fabulous phero combination for those beginning their journey into the world of pheros. It is for any female who wants to draw a male's attention, but not in a overtly sexual way. I ordered my Un Lumina last week...as soon as I saw it on the available list!!! Thank you Mara for this!!!

My dogs never seemed to pay any attention to my dept store perfumes, but with LPMP's they are constantly sniffing my wrists and neck-even when they don't contain pheros!!

I got Flying Potion from the trade boards last week-it was 1/3 full, which I thought was a great way to try it...if I didn't like it-no harm done! Well, let me say that it has turned into one of my all time favorite perfumes from LPMP! In fact, I have used it almost every day since I got it..and already ordered a full bottle because I don't want to run out!!

I am not great with notes, but when I first put it on the marshmallow and spices are most prominent. The grapefruit is there...but not loud. Everything just blends together perfectly!! After the drydown I smell sweetness, a little spiciness all mixed in with fluffiness!! It is to die for! Levitation is perfect for this perfume. I feel so uplifted, motivated...it has been wonderful for a little pick me up when I need to get things done!!

Looking at the notes, one could assume that this is a fall or Halloween type scent, but I feel it works great in the summer too!! It is light enough to carry off in spring or summer. Everyone around me at the grocery store was leaning towards me and taking a big whiff without trying to be obvious. I will definitely make sure I have a backup bottle of Flying Potion...it's going to be a staple in my arsenal!!

You are in the midst of some great fellow phero addicts..lol I share many of the same medical issues as you as I have RA and it has recently moved into my hips...I have struggled with depression for years due to my RA and I can tell you that finding LPMP was one of the best things to happen to me!! I have only been using them for about 2-3 months, but they have helped me immensely! I would say anything with alpha androstenol high on the list will help to lift your spirits. My favs are Lace, Levitation and recently Super Sexy. I also got a bottle of Alpha Androstenol on its own to use.

I came here for the pheromones, but have since fallen in love with Mara's perfumes...in fact, the dept. store ones smell generic to me now! Some of my perfumes I have already boosted with pheros, but I keep a bottle of my favorite Unscented pheromones on hand for an extra spritz when needed.

Another wonderful product I have recently discovered are Mara's wax melts boosted with pheros...the fragrances are fabulous and fill my whole apartment with luscious smells and pheros (you can also get them without pheros)..they are on the Artfire site under home fragrances.

Any questions you might have will be gladly answered by the veterans...everyone is so helpful!! I wish you a fantabulous phero-filled journey!!

I was looking at Top Dog w/MVP for my fiance..it seems like a very nice scent...luna65, what do you think of this for Molls friend? for someone who doesn't like strong scents?

I can't wear a lot of perfumes around my dad because he has problems breathing. I usually use a light dose of my perfumes with phreros (conserves them also) and supplement with UNs. I would say around your mother in law either H&S or OW because your goal is to make her feel more relaxed around you (and you around her) and not perceive you as such a threat as some mens' mothers do. So, pheros are for oneself and also the person around them. I would not use anything with copulins because that might cause her to react more negatively.

The best advice I can give you in dealing with MILs is to just go with the flow as best you can. Let her do her thing and baby her son and have a little control while she is there because she probably misses that..lol The better things go with her..the better things will go with your man and you will be happy! I may sound old fashioned, but that is what I have done. I don't know how she is specifically, but most mothers just need to feel needed and able to help out when their son leaves the nest...any pheros you apply on yourself..she will be affected by when in your vicinity..

I spent way too much last month...so today I only ordered the June Sampler (after reading the descriptions, I wanted to try them all!) and a bottle of Flying Potion. They are holding UN Lunima (love it in the All Hallows Eve I got) and the last of the New samples for me..so all of that will be coming together. I was hoping to find at least one of the new LPs that I would love, but after looking at all of them...there are going to be several favs I think! My hoarding days are over...lol...only will be able to afford maybe 2 bottles from the June NRs...unless I win the lottery!! (in which I will share my fortune with all the forum members )...it could happen!!

I wasn't even aware that you are ASD when I made that post, so it wasn't a comment on your behavior, just that I believe you will really like one of the LP variants in the June release, that is what I meant by my comment. I hope I've made it clear enough now. I apologize to whomever I may have offended with the tone of that comment, but I honestly did not know that detail about you until Olderbutwiser responded with her post.

I didn't think you were commenting on my behavior...I explained it to you because to people who aren't familiar with how Aspies are...we can seem excessive and obsessive. When I read your comment I thought-geez, she must think I am crazy going on about this when we have all of these new Love Potions coming out..I must seem like a real nutjob...lolol I understand what you were saying and no worries..no need to apologize for anything because you didn't say anything to merit an apology...it's all good. Just so you know about me for future posts...I'm a really laid back person and don't get offended because most of the time...I don't get things...most everything goes right over my head...its hard when your reading someone's words instead of talking face to face...when we write, in our head, we know the tone and how we want to come across, but when you read words, it can be taken differently. Don't ever worry about what you write on here with me...(I am smiling the whole time I am writing all of this)....

Let me just say that before you start scheming in that fashion, wait for the descriptions for this month, then act accordingly.

luna65...You don't know how excited I am about June's new releases! That is all I have thought about since Mara showed us the pictures. I know it is hard for regular people to understand how obssessive people with Aspergers can be when it comes to something they like. We are very routine oriented and repetitive with our clothes, food, etc. You will probably hear me go on and on about the perfumes I love because that is how I am. The reason I was talking about a personal brew is that, despite how much Mara loves us and jumps through hoops to make us happy, she is the owner of a business and there would need to be a demand big enough to justify rebrewing it. I wouldn't want it all to myself...just to commit to enough that it would be worth her time and expense to do it...for now I am counting the days until the NRs come out like everyone else!!!

I wouldn't call it scheming, as Birkey has stated that she has Asperger's. She's also gathering several favorites to take to ladies in India in her fiancé's family.

 

ETA: She also felt that LP White is light enough to withstand the heat there.

Thank you for what you said Olderbutwiser! I am guessing that you are familiar with Aspergers..lol When we love something..we really love it!! The other is that my fiance, Jatin, also has Aspergers and he is very particular about perfumes/colognes and can't stand anything strong. If I were going to give perfumes as gifts to his family, it would have to be a subtle scent that he could stand for them to wear around him and I thought LP White would be just perfect! For now I will wait with great anticipation for our new Love Potions to come out!!

Now...I know this thread is supposed to be for New so let me just say that it is one of the most wonderful perfumes that I have ever smelled! Every time I wear it everyone around me wants to know what I am wearing (almost demanding). I am not great at picking out notes, but to me it all blends together wonderfully. Although it doesn't contain anything fruity, to me I almost get a cherry scent mixed with vanilla. It is very relaxing (Lavender is great for that) and since I haven't been around babies to know what they smell like, let me just say that if you ever have the chance to get a bottle of New...you can't go wrong!!

Thanks LoveStruck55! I did go to the perfumerie and was able to snag them! I know why Gypsum White sold out so fast...I ended up getting like 8 bottles of it..lol I did leave 2 my last order, which was 5, because I hated to take them all (but I wanted to!)...New I ended up with 6 bottles of. Those 2 and LP White are my total favs! I am still hoping, even with all of the new LPs coming out, that Mara may some day do a rebrew of it. I was only able to order 1 bottle of the 2LP Whites which came out unexpectedly a few weeks ago. I did manage to get another bottle through trades. Can you tell I am a hoarder??!! lol I am an Aspie...so I tend to like the same things..and when I like it..that is all I want and fear running out.

Does anyone know if Mara will do a rebrew for one person if they commit to buying enough bottles of it? (like 10 or 15)?

If you still have the 12 trial viles I will take them....I can't get enough of it!! I have already gone through 1 1/2 bottles of it!!

yes, LP White is my all time fav...Gypsum White is a very close second...and X Appeal is third...I do love love love them all!!

Welcome to the forum!! We have a great bunch of people on here! Any questions you might have...they can answer!! The sampler is fantastic...there are a wide variety of perfumes (scents) and also phero (combos)....the trading post is a wonderful place to find samples for less and I would recommend getting all that you can to give you a better idea of how notes combine to form the different perfumes! Keep an open mind...some that I thought I would love from the notes...I like and others that I knew I wouldn't care for..I love!! Best wishes as you begin your journey!!
