So this is my first review of an LP potion. Still learning to discern the notes. I must say that I have had a very fun experience with it, despite not being able to wear it myself.

I got a sample of this, and smelled it in the vial: very citrusy and manly. Because my last LP order drew the attention of my SO, and because he teased me with "no more smokey poo scents, I hope" I decided to appease him and hand him this one. He didn't pay attention to it right away. Instead, he told me I smell like nice candles when I tried on 4 of my samples, and continued to play his video games.

I told him his scent was like a fancier Giorgio Armani scent, to convince him to try it. He's such a princess sometimes.

At night, after he showered, he applied the LP #9. Wow! He kept asking me to smell him and that he smelled good. Yes, he did!

The next day, he came back from work and he told me he wore it to work. He told me: "I told people at work ". He NEVER says stuff like that. Especially not to people he's not very close to. He repeated that statement at least once more throughout the week. Now he wants to know how much a full bottle costs. Wow!

As for me, I applied two sample wand swipes - on my chest and forearms, and I felt it was rather sharp, manly citrus cologne scent, at least minutes within application. I might try it again once I get a full bottle for him, but as it stands, I don't know that I would choose this one for myself.

I am very happy I found an LP scent for my SO without intending it to be his from the beginning. When I ordered LP #9, I got it for me...

Now if I can only find an LP scent that he likes on me!

ETA: I guess I said CK resemblance, I don't remember... He is such a cologne snobby princess, I had to mention a fancy fragrance to convince him to try it.

Well, this is an older potion, but I want to drop a quick review on it anyways cause it affected me in an awesome way today.

I was in bed with a hangover caliber headache which is ridiculous and lame as I haven't had a drink in 8 months, but there it was. I'm laying there surfing the forum and I came across the post about the new energy phero that Mara & co are working on and it brought this scent to mind.

Scent wise, this is like drinking a strong cup of Peppermint Tea while sitting on my mom's porch by the lavender plants on a cool spring day. Its all fresh and zingy and clears away the cobwebs. The oil itself tingles on your skin from the mint, and therefore feels sooooo refreshing on the temples, the base of your neck, and the crooks of your elbows. Delicious.

Within twenty minuites my headache was gone and I went and did dishes. Magic!

I'm not really into pheros so much, like I dig em ok , but usually the scent magic is where its at for me, but this one really seems to give me some drive along with the aromatherapy aspect of the oil. Its a great combo.

I also like how this scent sorta only sticks around long enough to do its job,then fades fairly quickly so I can move onto another "perfume" LP for the rest of the day. It's a super effective and specific oil that aces at its purpose.

Being that November is phero month, I thought I'd bring a little attention back to Focus Pocus.,I think it would be really nice to see something like this again, either with Focus Potion, or the new energy phero. Mi gusta!

I second this! I would love to try Focus Potion or an "energy phero"!!!

It's mentioned all over the site in different threads but I don't know if there's a specific thread.

 

IDK if it's a rule but the reference is "Phero Enhanced Fragrances". In reference to LP's produced by Mara. Mara will usually pair a phero with at least one of her NR's each month (the exception is Nov when all the NR's are enhanced.) The scent and Phero will be well suited to each other for effect/intent.

Yes the Phero Enhanced LP's are made with 333mg per bottle. An unscented phero will give you 1000mg per bottle at the standard 1x order.

You can order your Un at 2x or 3x as well.

 

* BTW, If you "Boost" a LP, meaning add a phero to a "virgin" scent you will get the 1000mg.

Aaaah, see, I had no idea what it means to "boost" a "virgin" scent! I thought it would still be like the phero enhanced fragrances. Thanks!

Another question: is it true that a scented phero has a lower concentration than an unscented one? I cannot find the math anywhere on the LP website.

Has happened to all of us. I will still carry lens cleaner pads with me if I'm working with a new LP so I can quickly remove it in case I overdosed or suddenly in the wrong situation. Mara also makes a soap that I do believe helps get rid of pheros.

I have a bottle of the Beaver, I do half spritzes on my wrists and chest, so 3 half spritzes which would be pretty much half of what you did I love it at work and for meditation. I get an 'everything is ok' sort of vibe with it, and so do the others around me. Don't give up on this one.

Hmmm... I'm not sure you applied half of the amount I did, maybe a third, I believe Beaver has a weaker concentration than the unscented phero, like 1/3... I did 3 spritzes of the UN, plus swipes of the Beaver sample!!!

Tuesday I only did 1 spray, and two swipes of the Beaver sample. Much better experience. I did not notice that anyone was listening to me any more than usual, but I was not irritated anymore. I did get really sleepy and tired by the afternoon.

I second the Hocus Pocus Focus potion!!!

But I still want tarts boosted with SS4M or something similar, too

Ugh, I think I started with way too much my first time... 3 sprays, full bottle, 60/40...

Followed by 2 swipes on my arms from my Totem Beaver with SWS. It's 11:30am and it's been a pretty bad day so far.

In my morning meeting with senior management everyone ignored me, even though they should have asked me for information.

I got extremely irritated with my SO for insignificant things, very unlike me, which in turn made him mad with me. Not good. I really hope it gets better. I'm going to go wash my arms to try to alleviate this.

So I gave this one another try. I swiped (sample wand) once on each elbow crease, and behind the knees, re-dipping each time.

I then added some LP Gold, just one sample swipe on the wrists.

I think the scent behaves the same on my skin, but I may be getting used to it. LP Gold did not overpower it in any way.

I went to work, and one of my coworkers said I smelled nice, about 2.5 hours after application. It's odd, because I still think I smell like smokey powder, and my SO will not like it, but I should be able to shower before I am around him.

Wow, if he contacted you even though he's married, you definitely got your revenge! That, and he sounds like he is not exactly respectful to his wife. If I am in a happy relationship and fully respect my partner, then it doesn't even cross my mind to reach out to ex's to "catch up"!

However, I have a few ex's I would love to try this on

 

How long had it dried down before he made the comment? The copulins in pherogirl need a 15 min or so dry down time, before which certain sensitive people may find them funky. I don't know if LFM has cops or not.

Hmmm... maybe 2 minutes... I guess I'll have to try it out again, leaving more dry down.

But, if it smells anything like LP Rouge, I don't know if it will work. I tried OCCO Ambrosia 2013 with a 5 minute dry-down with no issues around my fiance. He did not have any reaction... until the next day at least.

I put anything with Copulins in the massage oils and then I shake it up really good. I also slather the bed with pheromones so that as soon as he gets under the covers he's ready to go.

This is very interesting, I am a bit confused about how copulins on a man's body would arouse him?...

And slathering the bed with pheromones, as in spray, unscented?

I have been searching for a thread comparing the two, but I cannot find one - if this is a duplicate, I hope one of the admins can move this to the one that's already started.

I know the difference in the two phero blends is the ratio in Beta and Alpha Androstenols, but I was wondering if forum members can review their experience with each one, if they've tried both

I was told True Confessions T.M.I. has a higher ratio of beta androstenol.

Also, if you've tried these in scented versions, please share.

If I were you I would just wait until next month....you can get samples of the unphero's then!!!!

Or just add LP Red to your Rouge until then maybe...

I don't have LP Red, I heard that might work though. But I think honey scents are a no go for me so far.

Thanks Eggers! I've tried a couple of sample vial swipes, all the way to slathering my abdomen and arms.. I guess I'll keep experimenting with dosage.

Phero Girl and LP Rouge with LFM are a no go - the times I tried them, he noticed them in a bad way, because the honey scent turns into smokey powder on my skin, so i can't wear it

I haven't worn Heart and Soul around him yet, but that's a good tip. I'll try that.

Since this smells like powder and smoke on my skin, but I would still like to give it a try to see if LFM works, do any of you have a suggestion in terms of what I could cover LP Rouge with to overpower its scent?

Thank you for sharing your experience. My fiancé is the type that falls asleep by 8pm, kind of low on testosterone, despite being only 28 and in excellent shape. So I assume all these factors may have something to do with the lack of response I get.

Last night we went out on a date, I got dolled up, I wore some of my Totem Bat with LFN and OCCO Ambrosia, and while we actually had a much more involved dinner conversation, and he kept telling me I looked pretty, once home he was dead asleep and it was only 10:30pm.

It's the second time around I tried pheros on a date (last time it was Exotica with Gotcha! and OCCO), and both times we ended up going to sleep right after we got home. Maybe it was the one glass of wine?

I should probably try wearing the phero and cops on a weekend in the morning, when I know he's ready for sex.

That's why I am wondering whether other have noticed a need for a ramp time with people close to them in terms of signature change. It might just be that I need to keep experimenting with my fiancé.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering about application tips - i read somewhere on the forum that you should start slow to get those around you used to your new signature. .. have most of you experience that a slow ramp got you best results with close friends, family, significant others?

How slow do you start with significant others? My fiancé has yet to show any effects. ..

I placed 2 orders a week ago (one on ArtFire and one on LPMP, but within minutes of each other), before the Weenies got released, and I'm still waiting for my Stamps notice. They must be really swamped right now, because during the September sales I got my order delivered in under 14 days (much appreciated ), and I was in Europe!

I am soooo anxious to try out the new potions!

ETA: I didn't realize they have to "make" the unscented SWS spray for me... I can understand this would take longer. I thought it would be like my first order, which was all scented phero samples - they probably did not brew a new potion for each sample I ordered.

Since I would love to get some man pheros (for my man...) to spice up the bedroom without actually divulging my secret to him yet , I would love some wax melts spiked with men's pheros, like the SS4M

I really like the scent of this, although I can't pin point any hits yet. I tried only a coupe of sample wand swipes, all the way to navel to neck and arms slathers. Still waiting. Granted that I am currently wearing it at work, in an office environment where I really really do not want to be - so I myself must not be congruent with it in this instance...

Last time I wore it I was at a family gathering and everyone was having a great time. I can't say I felt in the center of attention, but I wasn't necessarily going for that.

I did notice that it doesn't last long though, 1-2 hours after application (I only have the oil sample) is barely noticeable on my skin.

I need some advice: since I want to order some PP, should I get it unscented, or in Totem Lamb (60/40 spray)?.. How would the unscented version be different? I figured, since the Totem Lamb doesn't last too long anyway on my skin, I can probably layer a commercial scent I enjoy on top of it, like Marc Jacobs Daisy. Or should I just start with the unscented?

Yesterday I put on Phero Girl and walked by my SO... he immediately asked "What did you spray?!" and and told me he does not like it. The same issue as with LP Rouge. Now I know Sexspionage and LP Gold trigger the same effect. I wonder whether to try Mara's Rocket Fuel or not, since that has honeycomb in it...
