Dolly is right - you will not find help in restraint here, we are enablers - can't help it, the perfumes here are wonderful and so far i have not found many that i do not like - it is an addiction but in a good way.

I have 2 thoughts for you on this situation. First is that people who are arround you often will occassionally be thrown off by a change in your pheromone signature. Unless they have a really ADVERSE reaction, you need to give it a couple of tries before making a judgement call on it.

 

Secondly, if I has a serious commitment issue, pheros CANNOT help that. They just can't. That is something that only he can do.

 

Keep working the pheros, though......they can be fun and can add a little spice in relationships, as well as tipping the scales in your favor in some other situations (socially and on the job).

I will try it again, he is one of those that have to analyze change before he is ok with it.

I just want to tip the scales in my favor on occassion- there is therapy for his other issues

Since i had such a good day when wearing this it is definitely a bottle purchase

Okay i tried this one today {opposite side of the body where i tried vain - or the elusive vain as i now call it since my skin inhales vain}

It is a nice buttery deep brown vanilla - i really like this one - it is foody but not too foody where you become sick, it has a good throw and i only needed a dab to keepthe smell going

It smells a lot like super -woman, but darker and not as sweet, i would get super first and get this as a back up as i really, really like super w.

I tried this one today and loved it from the bottle - it smells like sweet old school candy [can't place my finger on it - but cherry something - not super sweet cherries]. when i put it On i smell cherries, vanilla florals, then the cherrish scent dies down and the vanilla floats in and out I really like this one [on it was very strong with a good throw]

but alas this seems to be another skin drinker for me - 1/2 hr later and i smell nothing - if i get real close and inhale real hard i can get a faint something - This will have to be a slather scent or maybe if i mix it with sugared cherries i can get the scent to last longer as i really like it

Already got a bottle so i can experiment away - if it lasted then it would definitely be in the top 5/10.

We have all had that happen from time to time.....your skin likes a scent so much that it just drinks it up. I have some that do that on me.....you can try a scent locket to prolong it, or that may just be one of the ones that you have to re-apply.

 

Or, do as I do.....if I apply a scent in the morning that is one that I know my skin "eats", that means I can either re-apply that one later OR put on a completely different one.....I usually go for a different one....I get to play with more scents that way!! I always carry a couple of LP's in my bag when I leave the house for more than a couple of hours......

I will try the reapply and carry several - i am sorting now to see what i have dupes of {got a bunch in the last order} so i can lock them up at work for the days i am in a rush and forget to pack some for travel

Can you expand on the scent locket - are they sold here?

okay, i see i am going to have to try this one again, i did not get any of the notes and smells you ladies got, i got metallic cat pee that would not go away, i left it on hoping that smell would dissapate and the wonderfulness would start to happen ......no such luck

Here is one that is not on the top 5/10 until after a retry. It is on the bottom with Frigrewelian or something like that - the one where the description is about wine and gypsies [i know the spelling is way off] - that one i rated as dirty wino smell on me

I tried this the other day, in the bottle is smelled like cake batter ice cream from cold stone creamery

On it was soft and warm smelling, like light shea butter and cocoa butter, then it got stronger and was cakey creamy good, like a french vanilla cake in the oven

i went to the dr in the morning and ran light errands - worked great - so many smiles, help and people showing interest - this excited me as i knew my fence sitter [on the fence btwn special friends and real committment - he has serious committment phobia - more on that later] was coming over to help me paint and if strangers got a buzz, boy was he in for it ----before he arrived put a bit on - nothin, nada, no reaction or comment, during clean up i sneaked off and added an extra dash - again nothing and half an hour later he bolted [with the usual regular kiss goodnight] like someone called and said his house was on fire - did i over slather or does the pheros not mix well with paint fumes?

anyway this still gets my patent pending love it, love it

Goes in the top 5 (oops i mean 10) and i must get a bottle when i earn coupons or discounts or something b/c if i order more right now my family my send me to debtors prison

Just want to say thanks to the Ladies {S and D} i placed two orders and recieved them both in the same mailing in 5 days. Plus it was stocked with some goodies/samples - the elusive EGG which i am so grateful for.

There are so many good things in this i can't tell them apart, i get florals, light fruits, light inscense, musk and etc - i like this on - the scent stayed all day - no need to reapply (so far from 7am to 11pm and still going strong)

Update - it was 11am the next day and i can still smell it - after the night time shower and everything - most excellent staying power!

Definitely in the top 5 (i know i say that every other post - i better make that top 10)

Maybe not just you whiskers...I get an odd "cherry" note on this at one point. Later on it settles out into cinnamon/spicy

I get the same and i like this scent - the only problem is it does not last on me [first time i encountered this with LP scents] two hours max and i need to re-apply, i thought maybe i was used to the scent and could not pick it up so i applied lunch time, waited until time to go home and asked someone to smell to see if they could pick it up, after inhaling my hand like it was the last row of cocaine - they could not smell anything either.

I will give it another try in a few weeks and see if i get the same reaction

Honeyed Seductions - another of my faves. Luckily, I have a bottle or we might get into a tug of war over some of these.

I may be small but i'm wiry - at least we'd smell good after the tug o war

I also snagged the bottle, but since i am such a latherer it may not last as long as i want it to - i seriously need to pace myself

I just received my first order of samples, and I am head over heels. I have only tried Happy Water so far, and I am loving it. It really did make me happy. The scent is subtle yet lingering. It mellows as you wear it, and I am not sure how to describe it - warm, clean, vanilla? I just know I was so thrilled to see it in my mail box. I really needed it today. I still have Sugared Patchouli, LP Black and LP Red to try. My next order is not far away!

Does anyone have room for two great smelling girls [me and my daughter] once i get kicked out for spending all my money on LP ?

Okay i tried this one today with another scent i have called butterfly nectar - love it, love it

It is powdery soft, sweet but not too sweet with great lasting power - didn't have to refresh until it was time to leave, i have to check what i ordered during the sale b/c i better had gotten a full bottle of this - goes into the top 5.

That is what i like about LP, it does not smell like anything else and the combos i see (read) seem to be endless so no one else will smell exactly like me and they can't go run and get it unless i share my secret

I have posted on several of the other threads and thought i should pop here and give my background since i see my knjsavy all over the place

My name is Kim [hi to khim - interesting spelling] and i am 38, a libra, single mother to a 16 yo daughter, just graduated law school while working full time, live in NY, I am the contracts manager for a city agency [Office of Child support enforcement], no steady [yet - i'm sure lp will help me cure that], like all types of music, love reading and tv watching [reality shows seem to draw me in] and love good "smellies".

So far i enjoy this site and the advice the ladies give, everyone here is so open and helpful. that is really appreciated.

This is a light sweet smell that reminds me of christmas candy. Soft and very feminine.

I wore this with sweet revenge and the combination was very nice. When ever i got frustrated or started to get annoyed or angered i just sniffed myself and said i want [fill in the blank] until i calmed down - it worked, helped me settle down and get back to business - it mostly was i want people to leave me alone and stop asking for things right away.

We've all been through the OD phase......don't worry.....it's normal......luckily I work at home.....

LOL, i work in a cubby that is right by the exit so i get a lot of traffic past my cubby so if i have to deal with the passerbys all the time, they'll have to deal with my new found passion.

I will be a walking scent - sation at work tomorrow - too bad for anyone that has allergies to anything i plan on slathering on.

Sugared Poms - in bottle like a light sweet wine, on it is a sweet juicy pomegrante, very fragrant and not overpowering fruity smell, smells like heavy cotton candy, good scent for the sugar fans and the fruit fans

In the bottle i got a strong lemony smoke smell.

On it faded down to a lemon, citrus smell with musk undertones. It is perfectly named as it is golden, seductive strong corageous cat. It reminds me of CK1, do pay attention to the warning as the spots i applied it to turned slightly red [lemon, cinnamon] but not uncomfortable where i would not wear it again.

this scent is for my business suit, breifcase days and take charge nights.

Not sure if i am ready for a full bottle purchase as i can make the samples last. It goes in my tier II category -
