Picked up my box at the p.o. this morning!!! Squeee!!! I can't wait to get home and try all my goodies. It's all I can do not to dig in here at work, but I'm going to be strong! :2747: <<< me being strong!!

I just enabled my co-worker with my Super sample!!

I enjoy using this one, but I almost always cover with something else. It's just a little too foody for me.

I'm wearing a small amount of BI, along with a tiny dab of Phero Girl. Covered with LP Red and sexied up with Sugared Honeycomb!! Everything is in very small amounts. I'm going to an event tonight and I'll be very interested to see what, if anything, happens. Mr. Goddess will be there, but not with me, as this is a work thing for him. Also, his ex-wife will be there, probably with me. The event is a workshop graduation of my older step-daughter.

Truth be told, I'm hoping for tons of PDA from my hubby when he happens to be around all of us!!

As I was hoping, Mr. Goddess was very affectionate - well, as much as he could be, since he was working. But every time he passed by he touched my arm or gave me a little squeeze.

I didn't notice too much attention from anyone else until about 1/2 hour before we were going to leave. My friend introduced me to a friend of hers, and as is the tradition with this crowd, we hugged hello. Well, he buried his face in my neck and would not let go!! He said I smelled amazing and was just huffing away on my neck!!! I was quite surprised, to say the least! He sat down with our little group and moved his chair over until our knees were touching. Most of the time his hand was on my knee or my arm!! He was so flirty, but not like he was trying for anything, since he knows my hubby and was showing me pics of his wife and kid. He mentioned my scent a couple more times, and when we all go up to leave he said he was still dizzy from it!

Wow, I wish I had had this stuff when I was single!!

When Mr. Goddess got home he asked who was that guy!!

Interestingly, he hasn't noticed or made a move himself...just as well, it's "that time".

Oh no, I hate to tell you this, but tomorrow is a postal holiday. :unsure:

I came home yesterday to...a slip from the post office!

My last package was held at the p.o. because we were out of town. I'm not sure why this one needed in-person delivery. Does it have to do with the amount? Anyway, I'm going to have to use split-second timing tomorrow morning to get to the p.o. and then to work on time.

No, it's not just you!! A few times I thought I won the IoE, or CocoaPink or whatever lottery!! I actually thought I might get a duplicate shipment!!

So, apparently I am just a crazy girl. It hasn't even shipped yet! I have no idea where the e-mail came from (my guess is it was from my order in december), but I am SO relieved. I feel so dumb, but I'd rather be dumb with pheros, than smart with none.

I'm glad to hear that everything went great for you. I have a female boss and Breaking the Ceiling really makes her value and respect my opinion. She's always been very nice but BTC punches it up a notch to and she becomes overtly accommodating. Some people wonder who the boss really is.

I think this is what happened for me!! I've been working with my boss for over 10 years, and she has always privately sought my opinions and counsel, but then would slam me in meetings (maybe to make sure I didn't think I had any power?). This time we actually has some important dialog in the meeting, and I think, overall, it was clear that she's more open to me. Since I'm the senior esthetician by about 7 years, the other girls aren't threatened by this.

Another interesting thing happened - later in the day one of my co-workers and I had some down-time, so we went for a walk for 30 minutes. In the past, she would have have been making some snarky comments to me about the boss and the meeting, but this time we just had some lovely conversation about other things (husbands, home stuff, etc.). It was nice not to have to defend my opinions for a change!

Well, yesterday was a great day!! The meeting went well, and there was no undue ripping, none at all in fact!! One thing that I wasn't sure about is that I work in an all-female environment (skin-care salon) and sometimes I wonder if the pheromones are even helping, or if it's just all in my head. Whatever the case, I'm very pleased!!!

I'm trying this for the first time today. We're having a staff meeting at work, which is only done when the boss wants to rip into one or more of us, so I'm hoping I won't be the "ripee". I'm loving the scent - it reminds me of something from many years ago, but I can't yet put my finger on it.

Well, I think that was mentioned as an aid to diffusion....oil slows the diffusion, but sometimes thats a good thing because the pheros seem to last longer that way, especially if you live in a hot humid climate. You can certainly try layering while they're wet.....it would be similar to mixing them before application, which I have done.....but, I usually have better results if I let the pheros dry down before I apply a cover.

I see what you're saying, I'll try just letting them dry down really thoroughly. Now, for another question: What about a tiny swipe of Dominance, let dry, and cover with Mara's Rocket Fuel? Do you think the Dominance and the ss4w would conflict with one another?

The "male armpit smell" is the androstenone.....one question, did you shake the bottle before applying? The pheros in the unscnted blends float on top until shaken, so you may be getting a monster-dose.....

Yes, I did shake, thankfully there's a nice reminder on the bottle top!! I think I'm just a bit sensitive. Another cover question: I noticed on another thread someone mentioned it's better to not put oil-based scent directly on top of the unscented phero blends. Any suggestions? I was thinking of trying to put something on top while it's still wet, then wait for the dry-down and apply more cover.

yes, I waited about 15 mins for drydown, then attempted to cover with Pink Sugar. I might just be sensitive to the scent of the pheros, but I don't have anyone to ask (don't want to mention them to hubby).

Please help!!! I am having trouble covering this one, and I'm really sensitive to the yucky smell! I'm about ready to cry, 'cause I think this would be so helpful at work with my super-hard-headed boss (female). I'm so afraid someone will ask my why I smell like stinky male armpits!!

I applied this last night and Mr. Goddess didn't notice from the sofa, but this morning...OMG!! I'm not sure if it was working on me or him or both of us, but, let's just say, it was a VERY satisfactory effect!!

This is a very nice, light scent for me, but what I really like is the result when I wear it to work! I've noticed that it really helps to calm the boss!! For the last few months business has been a bit difficult (with the economy) and she has a tendency to get really worked up about the slow-down. I've noticed that she is much calmer and more open to suggestions and positive comments from me when I'm wearing this. I also used it on vacation when I was expecting to be in close quarters with a lot of my fellow passengers (I was on a cruise) and, while I don't have anything to compare, it seemed to be a good choice.

I'm looking forward to trying other Treasured Hearts scents.

The scientists who make our pheros will tell you not to mix them at all. They say that the mixtures are very specific and have been experimented with so they know their level of effectiveness. Even changing the percentage of one ingredient can make it less effective, as some pheros cancel another out, so it's best to use them 'as is' until you're really experienced and know exactly what you are doing. (One doesn't bake a cake by throwing three random recipes together and then wonder why the cake doesn't rise.)

 

That said, we have many users here who have a blast mixing them to great result. So I agree with Dolly, just use one, and then maybe gradually try adding a second, maybe on separate body part.
