Thanks, Eve. I bought a bottle of LV's Midnight Snack in the trade section a while ago and just assumed that it should smell like maple syrup.  It wasn't until I got my latest order that I figured out it was the caramel reading that way on my skin. I wish I would have known before I ordered a full bottle of Delectable unsniffed. It does smell lovely in the bottle, though.  I might try a scent locket or trade it.

I'm so happy that I ordered a bottle of this! It smells sweet and light and is sheer, but has a decent throw. I can totally understand how you envisioned this as a beautiful, hard candy or jewel. It reminds me of a beautiful translucent, glycerin soap bar with a sweet floral scent. 

This starts out as a really strong Magnolia on me - almost to the point I was going to wash it off. I decided to wait it out and after an hour, it has now settled down and I can smell the musk and just a hint of marshmallow as well. It smells rich and has a nice sweet smell to it.

LOVE this one!!! I wasn't sure I would even like the scent, but ordered a sample because of the label (I adore dogs). I was thrown off by the hay and lettuce because I wasn't sure if they would work on me. Wow - I think this is my favorite scent from my order. It is a  sweet, light floral vanilla that wears close to the skin and almost smells like it should naturally be there. I don't usually buy spray scents, but am considering getting this in a spray. Either way, I  need a full bottle. ♥♥♥

I love this one! The cherry blossom does start out strong on me as well, but after 45 minutes or so becomes a beautiful, light, enticing scent. I keep huffing my hand where I tested it. I love the Japanese Cherry Blossom hand soap from B&BW and use it in my bathroom a lot, so I figured I'd like Zakura - just wasn't sure what the cedar would smell like, so I only picked up a sample. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering a full bottle soon! It smells amazing!

So, I've discovered that caramel in fragrances reads as pancake syrup on me, and am wondering if that happens to anyone else. Both Delectable and Lady V's Midnight Snack have my children and husband (who don't realize it's my perfume) saying they smell syrup - and it's not a bad thing, just what my skin does with caramel, evidently. I will try Delectable again in a few days and see if I get any more of the floral scent,  but so far I haven't. 

Woo-hoo!!! My package just arrived. Now...what to try first?

I can't wait to get my bottle. It's not a "me" scent on paper, but Tyvey was so excited about how it turned out, I was convinced that I had to get one.

So, I keep getting drawn back to Ruthvah. It sounds intriguing and I am wondering if I would like it enough to spring for a full bottle, unsniffed. Mara or anyone else who has smelled one of the previous Cat's Eye perfumes, what would you liken it to? Is it sweet, earthy, smutty, sophisticated? I  like most musks, and some honeys - tree sap, I don't know.  Thanks in advance for your help!

I am so excited about this.  I had been waiting for a truly feminine scent for Perfect Match and this is definitely it!!

I just ordered a sample of Zakura today. I'm happy to hear that it dries down nicely. Can't wait to try it!

I looked up the notes on Royal C, and holy shit I've seen that box, maybe my stepfather or grandfather wore it. Definitely someone's dad that I knew kept it around. It's called a chypre, which means citrus, Oakmoss (the powder!), patchouli, musk (more powder) and something green or woody or floral. Based on that, try samples of LP #9 and Tonka Musk, I bet he'd be stoked on either one of those. Mike's Havana on Earth is based on men's 80's scents and I love it, but it's maybe a little intense for you man, definitely not powdery. Maybe he'd like Stormy Weather, but then you'd be phero bombing yourself with True Confessions. He also might like Connect with Teddy BB or Attis, both very different than his RC but worth getting him to try samples. 

My favorite old man scent is Desperation and Djinn, but like if I personally was a dirty old man, that's what I'd smell like. Pretty sure your man doesn't want to smell like a woman pretending to be an old, rich, drunken pervert.

He likes Royal Copenhagen. It's a clean,  powdery smell, but I dislike it immensely. I'm going to keep giving him samples to try out slowly. Maybe he'll come around, lol.

Lol! You're too funny, Eastwood! He likes powdery, old man type scents, no kidding. He will wear the spell potion with SWS - I forget the name right now, but that was a stretch. I don't think he would ever wear something chocolatey.  I'll have to keep working on him.

I'm going to place my order this weekend when I make up my mind what I am doing with the new releases.

Lol, Eastwood! No worries. Delectable sounds amazing as well. I completely get the baby thing - I have two children as well and love puppies! I'd take a puppy any day over a baby! Although I do adore these baby labels, they are so precious. I love the Laloo label!!!♥

Hmmmm...maybe I will. He likes to wear powdery scents which I don't like so I've been slipping the sample unisex ones in his bathroom area which he occasionally tries. He's not a huge fan of scents for himself. He always asks me if I have vanilla body lotion / cream on no matter what scent im wearing, so I don't think his sense of smell is so hot.
