  1. I didn't get any cucumber nor musk. I thought it was iris when wet and lots of rose after dry down. Very beautiful and soothing scent and reminds of me Stella McCartney's Nude.

Picture this ..... picking flowers in a white chiffon dress.

  2. Hi!

I joined your forums maybe back in '07, but never had a chance to read reviews, post, or to get into LPP…. And then my brain fell out and I forgot about all these tempting scents and pheromone blends!

So, it's a little bit later, and suddenly I have the time to be fascinated by everything!

I'm really enjoying reading everyone's posts and reviews (maybe I'll have my own stories at some point), and I've just started to test out LPP's products – so I can't wait to see what else the path down financial destruction (well, hopefully destruction) has in store for me!

Thank you for answering the questions I've already started posting in other threads, I love the advice you've offered, and again, hi!

Hi Icing, welcome back! Yes, don't remind me about the financial destruction part of this new addiction!

  3. Wow. This one was love at first sniff: all vibrant, red-orange citrus with a blazing sunset in the background and just the faintest breath of frosty autumn wind. I normally don't go for traditional "summer" scents"--think pina coladas, watermelon, papaya etc.--but this is one summer scent that's both appropriate for summer and a "me" scent at the same time. Gorgeous! :(

My nose really doesn't agree with this one. I find the citrus a little too overpowering. At drydown, it turned powdery. It's like an airfreshner.

  4. Oooooooo, you guys are making me think to layer this over coconut scents. Will have to try that.

Soft, flora and I actually sensed smoke ..... I'm really not good at this.

  5. Got my massive order :D Lots of new favourites but there are a lot that I don't like or don't work on me including Oidhche Shamhna which is absolutely delicious but my skin just eats it and the scent is gone in about 2 minutes :( So expect a nice big post of goodies for sale from me!

    Hi Azaezl,

Welcome to the forum. What scents didn't work on you? I'm waiting for my first order to arrive and I'm waiting for a forwarding address to put in my second order.

    Cheers,

    JOC

  6. This is my first time in the forum. I just got my very first order today. I got the OCCO Pink and Like a Magnet Pink. I'm so excited I can't wait to come back and tell everyone how it went.

Just a question. Can I wear both of these together? Or do they work better by theirself.

I can't wait to place my next order after reading everyone else's posts.

    Hi Newgirl84,

Welcome to the forum. Have fun!

  7. :) ...I had a "flash" of seeing a James Bond type with a handcuffed steel money case, full of your precious...Caliibeingsilly

I am waiting for my last order,so I can decide on the next :) Occo Pink most likely is gonna be on it tho, should be perfect with LP Pink for the summer,or with scented Cougar, ooooo that sounds good!

Hahaha ..... unfortunately, my colleague's not matured (aging required ... Lol) enough to pass off as "James Bond" ... sigh!! I'm sure he could do the handcuff thingy.

I'm waiting for the OCCOs to arrive. It seems like a good starting base so I ordered one bottle each (except for Blue). I have a bottle of Beta Leather & Beta BI but I'm wondering if this is the right choice afterall.

  8. All black isn't a taboo in New Jersey, but it pretty much is in my *coughuptightsquarescough* family.

I love the 'tan' look when I was in Middle School so I would go to the beach every weekend. Once I painted my nails black and overheard the sarcastic remark of "So the sun got to your nails too, huh?".

  9. Heartland is a very "dry" smelling scent; midwestern crops during harvest season, getting ready to be stored for the winter. Dry herbs, earth, grains and grasses

Ok, so I didn't see a review for this one....but, I got a sample in my latest pkg, so I thought I would give it a try....

I get more green with this one than "dry". For those of you who enjoy the green-smelling scents, give this one a try. I am not really big on green scents on myself, but it smells good enough that I would consider putting it in an oil warmer to scent my house.....as a matter of fact, I may do that this evening......

This one caught my attention when I was sniffing around. It's just unique, dry and straw-like. Coming from a country with limited land, this is something which I have never experienced.

At drydown, it turned into a very soft and slightly powdery scent and disappeared within a hour after application.

Guess this is something I would wear when I want have a picnic in the fields. I would imagine that I will be in a pretty sundress, a huge straw hat and go barefooted.

  10. Hi there! My name is Dimitra and I am from Greece! I've spent the last 10 years of my life (I am 29 years old) studying Psychology, Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Astrology, Aromatherapy, Dance and Sports Therapy (hopefully next year I'll finish with my Diploma and be able to work with professional athletes!! :) ). I absolutely love LPMP, I got my first order of LP Red and Sugared Honeycomb and can't stop myself from ordering again and again! I've already ordered Ail's Open Windows and Focus Potion along with 20 samples of perfumes, and my last order was full bottles of Mara's Rocket Fuel amped with BI and Remind Me Again, and a sample of Man Nip. I think next week will order OCCO samples, the Spell Kit, Leather and Bloomin' Naughty...Oh dear!!

This is a wonderful forum and I want to thank you all for sharing not only your experiences but also your suggestions for special occasions!

    Hi Dimitra,

A big welcome! I'm certain you'll have a wonderful time here!

  11. I can't believe that I have already hoarded 30 full bottles and close to 80 samples within one month. I was in a buying frenzy.

A colleague of mine has agreed to help me bring my next order back. This means I will be able to save on my shipping cost and plough the money into 3-4 bottles of scents. So, drum rolls, please ......

A set of new monthly release (since I want to try 6 out of the 10)

    LP Red

    LP Black

    LP Sliver

    LP Pink

    LP Original

    Betrothal Potion (x2)

    Cougar scented

    Beta cougar

    Entire set of LAM

I haven't decided if I should get any of the following unscented pheros OP, TH, H&S, SWS and TC.

I have a sample spell kit on it's way to me and I might add a few bottles to the above order.

With so many wonderful smellies, I hope the box will not be hijacked.

With this order, it should more or less complete my collection ...... for the time being (wicked smile in the background) .....

  12. To be honest, I really didn't like it when I opened the bottle. It was so sweet and funky smelling but I told myself that I must try it out.

On application, I had exactly the same kind of feelings .... how can I do this to myself? And I was ready to wash it off. Boy, am I glad that I didn't! The sweetness mellowed down soon after and the scent disappeared very quickly (within 2 to 3 hours) so I had to reapply at the same spot.

I've never tried such scent before (I always stick to fruity and flora scents) and I think this has given me some confidence to step outside my comfort zone.

  13. This one smells lovely in the bottle. Flora with green notes. However, on application, it smelt like shampoo. Afterwards, it flipped between shampoo and "Fa Soap". Got to blame it on my body chemistry. This is not for me.

  14. YEAH, BABY!!!! ^_^

My order is heeeere! It didn't even involve any hunting down the postal worker or guilting my teen for sleeping through the doorbell. Now that I have unwrapped everything and tried the 12 bottles, and the samples too, I smell like a whorehouse. :) But I'm HAPPY!

I'm so happy for you ..... I'm still waiting patiently for mine. My very first order. I bet I will smell like one too.

    "D" day shall come ...... patience ... !

  15. Not boring at all! It's fascinating to me to see what different lives we all live! I'm here in the hot, HOT Southwest, USA...you'd hate it if you like cold weather! I miss the seasons...miss snow, and have never traveled outside of Eastern Europe...so, share all you'd like, I'd love to hear more. Welcome!

I guess my preference for cold weather has got to do with my childhood/upbringing. I've been surrounded by beaches (though not fine white sand and clear blue water type), sun and swimming pool so they are not something which I go ga-ga over (although I do miss the latter since living in Shanghai).

I've never gone skiing, I've never been on a long train ride, I've never been on an interstate coach, I've never experience a sand storm, etc. So many 'nevers" but then again, I have done many things such as like diving in many places, trekking in Nepal, visiting the DMZ, driving along the Great Ocean Road, etc and now, pheros!!!

I love Europe and maybe it's because I've been there many times (as compared to the US). I mean in the US or Europe, when the locals tell you that such and such building is old, it's ancient in my terms/country. I love to walk around to explore the place and this is something I cannot do at home. I've only been to Hungary and Czech Republic so one fine day, I shall return to the Eastern Europe.

Don't get me wrong, I love my country and I am proud to be known as the citizen of X. The milestones she has achieved over such a short period of time .... I wonder how XXX foresee and mapped it out.

  16. I hope you enjoyed the goodies from our first swap. It wont take you long to figure out what type of scents you like & what works for you...and I promise you'll have a lot of fun along the way.

Oh....and about the books. What kind of books do you like reading? .... so if there's anything in particular that you're after that you can't get over there just let me know, I'd be happy to send them to you :w00t:

My daughter & I are having lots of fun smelling and testing the scents already. Actually, I am kind of glad that I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. It totally suprised me on what can smell great.

Thanks for your offer. It's so sweet of you. I've been reading quite a bit on special education recently. I've stopped reading novels after having kids. It's just not possible, particularly with the stressful educational system here in Asia. Therefore, another debate with a dear friend of mine on why XXX can produce great people while YYY can't ..... Lol. We'll have to continue when we meet up as emails and phone calls are not effective.

BTW, I have to let you know, I'm a wimp when it comes to needles. I had to hang on to two bags of saline when I went for an emergency c-section 8 years back. I have to hold on to whatever's available at hand when I go for blood test. It's funny, no?

  17. wow...interesting life you've had so far !

Thank you ... sometimes I think if I'm really insatiable. I mean there are so many things I have not done, see or experienced.

I had a brief discussion with a friend of mine on the difference in the grey matters of an Anglo-Saxon and an Asian. I know there were a lot of sterotyping and this can go on and on, like there's no tomorrow.
