My 3 yr.old would say my LAM ( resins ) smelled yucky!! Lol.
I'm worried about it. I didn't quite enjoy OCCO Black so my LAM and BAM sandalwood & resins might have to go to my trade post when I'm back.
Sidetrack, if I don't like OCCO Black, should I skip LP Black too? I know many ladies love to use the 2 together.

Okay this came to my mind .... as the scent lingers, maybe I should apply it outside my apt (balcony or yard), wait till it has dried down, cover it then re-enter the apt.
I like Christine's Tropical Musk but I think it might be too light to add EoW to it and I don't think any of the LAMs or BAMs will go with it.

I'm fairly certain a young child is never going to think EoW smells okay.
Well, my younger one (girl) is overall more diplomatic. She agrees that EoW smells a little acidic then she crinkles her face up a little and said that there's something else in it.
My son, on the other hand, is more direct, I guess.

HAHA that was cute. Why do they call it the caterpillar perfume? (you'll have to excuse me for that one going right over my head.....It's Monday!...
I don't know why. They have made up names for the most of the full bottles, poopie, butterfly, baby, etc.
I'll have to ask them tomorrow!

I wanted to wait till the new releases are announced but ....... so last week's order were:
AVV
Christine's TM
Taihitian Temptress
Denise's Misty Orchid Musk
Denise's Silky Freesia Musk
MRF/BI
Sugared Forest
Adrienne's Tangy Ylang
Give Peas A Chance
I'll have to make sure that I wait till late August to put in my next order.

Here's an update on the EoW situation in my house. I applied 2 stripes of 3" of EoW on my arm (in my bathroom) and my son, who was in my bedroom, asked where the stench came from. Twenty minutes later and with a cover, he still asked why the room was so smelly.
A few days later, I was alone at home and decided to test the EoW again. I turned on the fan to help the dry down process. I applied a cover scent thinking that it's completely safe. Then the bathroom was 'properly ventilated'. My kids identified the scent the moment they came home.
EoW is now officially known as the caterpillar perfume in my family. I'll either add a couple of drops of EoW into my scents, leave the job to the capable hands of Mara or depend on my OCCOs, LAM and BAM.
Oh by the way, EoW doesn't smell that bad to me.

Hi Ember,
Welcome to the forum. I'm certain you'll enjoy the scents.
Have fun!

My nose smelled flowers and lemon/lemongrass big time so I'll have to give this a miss.

I'll leave this one to you fig-lovers. My skin just cannot handle the honey.

Another scent which I didn't want to try due to the presence of coconut and mango. A giant bottle of Coppertone suntan oil or glass of pina colada (with an orchid and a mini paper umbrella) walking around, no way ......
Christine's Tropical Musk convinced me to give this a try. IMO this smelled extremely sweet and loud. 20 minutes later it mellowed down tremendously. Yes, I like this. I'll probably wear this during the weekends or for casual gatherings.

Lovely musky coconut; wet there is a certain watery freshness from the bamboo, not exactly green, just like fresh water, but on me that quickly fades and the coconutty musk, with a hint of pineapple comes and and just takes me away on vactaion.
I was not keen on this one due to the coconut and pineapple content. I don't want to smell like a bottle of suntan lotion or pina colada.
The colour of the fragrance caught my eye (my assumption isthe lighter the colour of the fragrance, the lighter/fresher the scent is). It smelled so soft and 'cozy' that I decided to slather on before going to bed. I love it for its lightness and I didn't detect the 'green' component.
Yes, although this will not become my signature fragrance but it is something which I would like to use so 2 full bottles coming my way!

JOC, I have one person that I am talking to, I will talk to her and check and see how many bottles I have that are full. How many would you like?
Just one will do since I haven't tried that. Do you want to talk offline?

I like the new one better because the pink note goes sour on me! I have several bottles of the old that I would swap for the new if anyone's interested (the old one has SS4W remember!!)
Hi TG,
Are you old bottles of MRF unopened? If so, I would love to swap with you.

This one smells very much like Blood Martini. Wonderful dark scent but it's too deep and matured to be my signature scent.

Well, not every scent works for every person.....some will work with your chemistry, and some just will not....
So, with the gold you couldn't stop huffing yourself but then it turned "repulsive"? I didn't quite understand what you were saying.....just remember that these scents are HEAVY on the copulins, which STINK. If you wear an OCCO and the scent wears down for whatever reason, you may smell cops lingering.....
Totally aware that not every scent works for every one and the body/skin chemistry thingy.
Re the 'repulsive scent', I hit the "Add Reply" button too quickly.
I applied OCCO Gold at 6pm last night and it smelled perfect thr' the evening. The faint 'repulsive' scent appeared the next day.
I don't think it came from the cops as I don't have any problem with neat EoW, UN BI, other OCCOs or other cops products I have. I'm just wondering if it came from the honey as I get this from Shelly's Lascivious Peach about 3 hours after initial application.

So far I have only tested BAM Orchid-Rose. I'm very much into light floral scent so this scent works out beautifully for me. If the scent it stronger, it can definitely work on its own.
I will review the rest of the scents when I receive them in August but I guess this will be my favourite among the five.

IMO:
OCCO Pink - sweet and lovely. Reminds me of a young bubbly girl.
OCCO Red - sweet cinnamon scent. Nice but I'm not (at the moment) a foody scent addict. Will try it again when the opportunity arise.
OCCO Black - I really didn't like this at the first go. The Indian musk was way too strong. I gave it a good shake before applying the next time and it's much sweeter and 'rounder'.
OCCO Purple - hmmmm ..... nice. Turns powdery and this can work well on its own on my skin or under other scents.
OCCO White - vanilla, vanilla, vanilla. Something which I have to get used to. Will give it a try again.
OCCO Gold - so this is how honey smells, huh? I like it and I couldn't stop huffing at my own arm however I get a weird and replusive scent on the place where I applied OCCO Gold. Will the coffee soap clean this smell off?
OCCO Green - smells better in the bottle than on my skin. Flora and strong chemical scent on my skin. Will definitely have to put in under some scents to cover the scent.
OCCO Blue - I don't like this and I don't know why.

I have been ignoring my bottle of 60/40 UN BI for a while due to the numerous posts on how it stinks.
As I finished my dinner early (and the kids were still eating), I decided to give the UN BI a go. I couldn't decide whether to apply it in my bedroom or bathroom but in the end I did it in the bathroom.
The good news (or bad news) is that I can barely smell it on my arm. I look forward to trying this out the next time I go out for dinner.

I'm holding back my order by a couple of days.

Me too! I got my stamps.com notices for my two orders. Can't wait to see them after my vacation!
