Ooooh I love this! It is the perfect tropical fruit salad, so juicy and happy. It's the kind of thing where you want to put on a cute Summer outfit and then just douse yourself in this and go have fun. And then do it all again come the nighttime. I feel like everything blends really well, it's bright and sweet and refreshing.

I don't recall previous versions having this much of an incense vibe, but this is very nice - agreed that it has a nag champa evocation. It's mellow but at the same time sexy and enticing.

This really reminds me of Coco Honey because of that powdery chocolate and the honey.

Guys - if any of you were a fan of Eternal Sunshine, this is rather reminiscent of it, IMO. It's fresh and bright, with a nice neutral Summery vibe to it. I think it's best for daytime, which is also a good time to be wearing Mega Watt. The lemon hangs on for a while before being subsumed beneath the powdery aspect.

It has a similar vibe I would say. IIRC I think Mtoto is probably somewhat sweeter.

Ahhh...this is somehow exactly what I wanted when I was telling Mara what I was thinking of for this one. But the cute name was all her idea. This has a powdery-creamy kind of mood and it's just slightly sweet. Not overly so, just, like, that natural sweetness which tonka can possess, although I know the coconut is also contributing to that. It's cuddly and cozy for sure, like the kind of thing you'd wear if you didn't want to get out of your pajamas and you wanted breakfast for dinner. The wood aspect is really softened by the other notes, they all play really well together. If you liked Northern Comfort I think you would like this too, although it's not quite as woody. It also makes me think of PAX a bit.

Unfortunately I can't compare this to the previous version as I lost all my samples in the fire, but it seems to me that the original was like a cherry-vanilla for guys, but this definitely has more of an emphasis on the oud, it's right in the center. The oud and the cherrywood might be mingling. I can definitely smell the cherry in the vial but on my skin this is woody with an undercurrent of the tobacco. I imagine with aging this will mellow out, but right now it is a very masculine/man on the prowl kinda thing, at least to me.

I'm not sure if I get "peach tea" from this exactly, it's more of a somewhat floral peach to me. There's definitely a garden vibe overall. The peach is really round and ripe but not syrupy. I think it would be appropriate for Summer, especially for daytime wear.

This one doesn't have any lavender in it. When I pitched the idea to Mara I was envisioning another snuggly take on vanilla-sandalwood-musk. She put the black coconut and additional woody notes in there as she was brewing.
