Hey, all. When I bought PheroGirl, I got it as an oil in the little flat frosted bottle (so pretty). It's not a roll-on, obviously, but is it the same strength of cops as in the roll-on?

I have been doing just a dab as it's strong on me but I love what it mellows down to...my mind has changed since first use... Nommy.

Would I be using more if it were a roll-on?

This one is so thick and gooey goodness, that at least for me, I *can't* even shake it ... I tip it slooowly from side to side, up and down, all different directions, until I see that the pollen is nice and evenly distributed...

It *is* very thick and therefore a little hard to shake. With that said, I've been shaking my little heart out and all of a sudden...wow, this is growing on me. I mean the scent itself. It's a little goth...a little mysterious...a little playful. And whoah. I smell the sekseh.

Is it possible that...me likey????

Let me let it continue to dry down and we shall see...if I need to cover I think I'll probably do it with something spicy and/or sugary. I do so love sweet, wet, sticky, deep and mmm.

Thanks, everybody...I thought so...(stress/coffee) but I think I'll eliminate the (albeit weird and far-fetched) possibility by just doing PG this week w/a cover fragrance if I want one...this one is starting to grow on me. Then I'll try LAM next week & see what happens -- I do so love that spicy brown sugar goodness...mmmmmmmm.

In the meantime, I'm cutting way down on the caffeine and seeing how that goes. Good advice, thanks.

Weird how some of us smell some things (i.e. cops) in some blends and not in others...we really are all different!

WA, you may be wearing too much or too little. Sounds like you're pretty expert but in case not, - I think you should play around some more with the amounts. With cops, I would say you need more than a dab of Phero Girl (or anything else with cops) - I would try, e.g., several stripes of several inches each, on each arm and on your chest...

I was thinking...too strong a fragrance itself. It may have nothing to do with the cops after all. I really may be the actual fragrances that just don't work for me. I say this having tried the Brown Sugar scent and oh my but it smells good and I do not smell the cops...period, end of story! Weird, huh? Maybe sugar and/or cinnamon is just a naturally really good cops cover?

LAM Brown Sugar...oh YUM. Smells sugary at first on me, then cinnamon-y with just a little yummy caramelized brown sugar behind it. Mmm mmm mmmmmm!

Possible problem, and somebody please tell me I'm crazy. I've been trying out, wiping or washing off a LOT of blends this past week...most with anol, a few without. I have been getting headaches and weirdly...off & on I've had an eye twitch.

Now granted I've been having a lot of caffeine this past week too. Please let that be it? I put on the LAM Brown Sugar and for a while it just plain smelled good, then I suddenly remembered the eye twitching problem and lo and behold, I'm having it but not very strongly...probably not noticeably to anybody else. Psychosomatic?

Any help would be appreciated...could it just be that I've been trying so many and they haven't all washed off when I've scrubbed them? Too much at a time, too many fragrances at a time, etc. (multiple ones in a day)? Or can I just not wear anol?

Right. Generally only one or two phero-enhanced fragrances are released per month. If you read a review of a fragrance in the Reviews subforum, it will be without. Pheromones and phero-enhanced fragrances are reviewed in the Pheromone Arena subforum.

Thanks, luna, I thought so. Oh, this IS a totally fascinating fragrance. The sweetness is morphing into something deeper. What a nice experience this fragrance is.

Sweet violet and juicy fruits. In the vial, its cramy-fruity. On the skin, the violet becomes stronger after some time. I'm not sure if I like it. I think I have to try it again.

This smells SO Marthafloggin' good. Holy shyte. Started as Good 'n Fruities and is now taking on a floral note in addition...donde lose yum.

This doesn't have 'mones, right? It's a charged fragrance only?

Thanks, luna. I'm really not freaked out by it or anything and I want to amp up my overall sexiness factor...I'm just feeling so blah that way lately. But I don't want to offend anybody by smelling too much like kitty. I put on one more little dab, each wrist, of BBatSD. I do dig this combination...it's naughty but nice...it's welcoming but not...predatory. KWIM?

Not in a bad way. Not like dirty Virginia. But like Virginia that hasn't just been washed, either.

Right now I'm wearing a tiny dab on each wrist of LAM in the resinous scent, with a tiny dab of The Beach Bunny & The Surfer Dude over each. I put these on last night. This morning my wrists smell...very va-jay-jay-ish.

I know, I know. That's how things are supposed to be. And it really doesn't bother *me* at all (weirdly, I've never minded my girley-scent). But...Are you guys sure this scent doesn't bother other people??? It won't make my husband gag or anything?

If I put another dab of just-fragrance on the VJ scented spots, will that hinder the cops?

I haven't tried this with Quince because he doesn't like floral scents unless they somehow also smell of cake.

Anyone asked any DHs or DWs or SOs or TGs or what-have-you, how they felt about this smell? Just curious. My man is not reliable. He thinks everything on the planet that smells remotely of woman is revolting.

I pretty much hated P G the first time I tried it, but it is now a favorite. It took me a few tries to "get" the honey scents, and I sincerely believe it's not even just a cycle thing but a SKIN thing -- especially for honey and for cops. After a few times, your skin goes "Oh ok I get it" and starts behaving differently with those things over (a short) time.

Specifically, the first time I tried Phero Girl it just seemed DIRTY and almost rancid. The second time I said hum this isn't so bad. The third time and ever since, it quickly turns into this crystalline, powdered-sugar, soft, even SUBTLE phenomenal unique gorgeous thing. (And that's not even taking into account its effects.)

This is such good news!!! Because that was exactly my reaction...now I have the tiniest dab on my fingers (from opening and re-smelling the bottle, actually) and...I am smelling more honey than dirt.

I feel like if I love amber, I should love honey. I do remember, now that I recall it, that O smelled SOOOO seriously strong on me the first time I tried it and now it doesn't...and my hubs recoiled the first time but I used it for a while anyway and he re-smelled without knowing what it was and said it was nice. Weird! So maybe it's just the strength of certain scents...honey...amber...vag...

I am going to see if my skin "gets" this dab...

So it's the pollen that settles to the bottom and the cops more on top?

I know, and even to my own CHANGE in chemistry with honey and/or cops over time, not even across cycle -- this couldn't have been more aggressive the first few times I tried it, and now, even with wearing the same amount, it is SO MUCH better behaved, like I've only been dipped gently in a thin coating of honeyed sugar instead of going around clobbering people with a club of drrty honey.

Thanks so much for the replies and the welcomes! TMI alert...well, here we've been talking about smelling like frosted beav so I guess there *isn't* any TMI. Anyway...I have my period right now. It's almost done. So that's what point in my cycle I'm at. (Ugh, bad grammar but am too lazy to fix.)

I'm almost 44, am hypothyroid and had a full hormone panel because of this last year, and was found to have low Estradiol and high LH (I think LH?) indicating that my eggs are starting to sputter out. : So that's where I am hormonally in general. My period is still very regular, like clockwork, and I know I ovulate.

Just some added information that may make a difference...I don't know.

I am inspired right now to wait and try Phero Girl again...after a few days and a decent shake. Thanks!!!

I didn't like the LAM Vanilla Honey, It smelled to much like Beav- Love the LAM Orchid Rose, and the rest.

 

VS Love Spell- I can't- I get gag reflexes. Smells like Febreeze to me. Moth balls and Febreeze.

Is BPAL Black Phoenix? Hate their website. It's not pretty. I stumbled upon them but was turned off by their site, doesn't make sense to me.

I'm not loving the Love Spell either. I bought it because it got such rave reviews. It's...sweetish-sour but not necessarily in a good way, at least not on me. It's cloying.

So as you can see, I am having a LOT of trouble with my fragrances. (I mean with the smells themselves, mones and cops aside.)

And the thing is, with the mone and cop products, I don't seem to be getting a different reaction out of people, either. I'm so frustrated -- mones seem to work for everyone in the world but me -- I actually feel the men in my life (just in my sphere) backed away from me yesterday with PheroGirl on. And I can hardly stand the smell of that, or of the resin LAM I've tried so far.

I'm just frustrated...I really want this to work! I ordered samples of all the scents LAM is covered with; after that I need to give up...

Now, speaking of O, it's weird that I *do* like that fragrance when that one smells like underwear...while I don't like the cops that also smell like underwear. Could it be the actual chemicals? Just a smell of vag won't bring on a cops reaction, will it? It has to be an actual cops-like molecule or something, is that right? (Oh...ETA: I don't like the way their site is set up either. I can't figure it out at all. I tried O because it was a sample gift along with a trade I did with someone on a beauty site.)

I LOVE pherogirl and soooo sorry you don't enjoy it BUT you did just get it and these oils change, seriously. Depending on your hormones or other things perfume oils can smell different depending on the time of month and skin chemistry.

Aww, sweetie, that's okay! No one thing will work for everyone. That's just a fact of life. I have 100% confidence in this company so far because sniffing all my samples, testing wear time, etc., I can really feel quality here. I think I'm gonna fall in love with LP...just got to play with the scents a little.

It just seems like honey isn't "my" scent, which is okay!I think I will hold onto it as you advised; things may change in the future.

By the way...did anyone find this made *themselves* chatty? I was a chatterbox this afternoon...I will read through the entire thread to see if this was addressed; guess I'm just making convo & making friends.

Just hoppin' on this thread too as I am testing it out simultaneously with PheroGirl (for the scents as much as for any effects).

I have this on the inside of my right arm. (PG is on the inside of my left arm.) Immediately, while wet: I think I may smell the cops but it's not overwhelming. Smells a little like a crayon, oddly! Nothing offensive, surely. It says "Sandalwood/Resins" -- is that the standard fragrance or something different? Thanks for any help.

Edit: OK. About 15 mins. after application and I am starting to LIKE this scent. It's starting to smell...skin-ish. If that makes sense. With a teensy eensy bit of sweetness. Ooh...so far so good.It's a very very light scent. Very soft. I put a little O on either side of it (just now) -- that's my go-too scent...which ironically, most people say smells like pussy. (I see a bunch of "sugared pussy" comments above.) Even if I have to use a cover, I would love to try out more of my LP samples as I'm thrilled to find a place that makes so many mones that really do seem geared toward women. I do believe there's a difference, sometimes.

Okay, so, next experiment: washed everything off very thoroughly, top to bottom. And I do mean everything. Reapplied a little swipe on each wrist; layered after five minutes with Love Spell (VS). All I smell right now is Love Spell, which is a light, fruity scent w/just a little bit of bite.

I love O so much, but...I feel like other people don't. I think it's too intense an amber for most people Love Spell is the antithesis; practically giggly-light.

I may end up ordering LP samples of this in, hm....pink amber? I do so love amber...

I have to say the smell is really strong on me and not necessarily in a good way. From the description I had thought it would smell a little like BPAL's O, which is my favorite to-die-for fragrance. This smells heavily, really heavily of incense.

Not sure of any reactions yet. I will report back later if I note any. I have two li'l dots on my neck and one on my wrist so I can periodically smell that one (can't reach my neck to smell it ) and see if the scent changes on me. Am I smelling the EoW?

Edit: Okay, I had washed this off...then decided to give it one more try. I layered it IMMEDIAELY with O. Weirdly, it seems to blend better with the O than Like a Magnet is doing (so far)...I will wait and sniff again in a while and see what happens...I'd love to have just the cops without anol so I'd love for this one to work out, since I've already purchased it.Oh, yes, and...I shook the bottle beforehand this time.
