I'm starting to think I just need to purchase the sampler for April

I did! In fact, I almost invariably end up doing so. After I peruse the NR selection, and realize that I already want to definitely trial at least 4... Which is $20... And then consider that Mara never fails to astound, and that so very often a combination which I never thought I could or would wear becomes a new preferred scent (Soaked and Goddess of the Blue Moon being perfect examples! I simply wouldn't have selected those on my own)... Well, it just makes sense ( or scents... Or cents... Because each of those meanings fit as well) for me to purchase the full sample set for only $4.95 more. My scent repertoire has certainly expanded in beautiful and wonderous directions with LP! Besides, there is ALWAYS someone (some Bear,even) who rejoices in those choices which do not fit my skin chemistry.

 

This sounds absolutely lovely... And quite likely will be a full bottle (or 2!) Can't wait for my sampler to arrive so I can sniff and slather... And see how my Beloved responds!

NT, MyBeloved is absolutely passionately in love with this scent on me! It is his long-standing favorite, from the time it was originally released. So glad it is a permanent scent now; when it was originally released I stocked up to ensure I would have "enough" (as if we can ever have enough LPs)... Wonderful to know I don't need to worry about running out! When I put this on before coming home, no sooner have I walked in the door than My Beloved is extolling my beauty and declaring his absolute undying love for me while kissing me longingly!

This does indeed sound so dark and delicious and sexy! Looking forward to sniffing and slathering this one!

And, it is my sincerest hope, that, with all of the lovely scents around her, she can just take a nice deep breath... and be transported to a lovely, absolutely peaceful moment in time... and experience a feeling of calm and joy, a time when the world truly glowed for her and all was perfect, if even for a moment, or a period of time... And I know that is precisely what her wondrous creations provide for me

I'll be outside of LA this weekend (relatively unexpected trip) so I'm glad Luna isn't anticipating this weekend... Otherwise I would have to be ordering using my iPhone and them's some little keys and the visual experience on a tiny screen just isn't the same (ahem, size DOES matter!)

I absolutely love love love both the self-effects and other effects of Tranquility Potion and was so sad to hear of its demise. I use it in my office, when working with special needs children, at home... I love how it makes me an avatar of tranquility... It's absolutely incredible! Strangers will stop me in stores to tell me how simply walking by me in the aisle is helping them feel like they are in an oasis of calm; cashiers will breathe deeply when I'm checking out and tell me how I have just made their day; people sharing elevators with me will comment on my serenity. And, those are effects from being in my presence for only seconds! The effects are dramatically amplified for clients and family members!

And, when my inventory of TP is depleted, I want to be prepared with a replacement. I would so greatly appreciate assistance with my doing so . So, to that end, and while I know it has been mentioned before in various threads as to what blends can be used in TP's stead, if you were one of those who, like me, loved TP and, unlike me, have had more experience with the more recent blends, if you would please be so kind as to summarize for me your experiences as to what works most like (or even better than... Wouldn't that be absolutely awesome!) Tranquility Potion and in what regards these blends are like/are better than and/or in what situations you find which particular blend works best (as in, Balm Bomb best for PMS... TH best for calming in the home, etc), I would so greatly appreciate it!

Popularity Potion has always been a favorite of mine as well, with incredible hits ranging from extra perks at the supermarket or restaurants to $150 gift certificates at the salon I use. Little kids become instantly enamoured and adults become extremely friendly! It's so much fun to wear!

PM, used exactly like a eye pillow? That might be VERY NICE for using with the bowls... As an eye pillow and also others draped over different body parts... they would work that way as well, yes? Is the description of my intended use making sense?

 

Is the intent of having them full so they can be used as an actual pillow?

I'm afraid I don't know anything about Tibetan Bowls. My littlest was just struggling with the fact that maybe she was barely able to get up and walk around was down to perhaps snuggling the dream pillow all day. I find it really does send people half conscious being near it.

The use of the bowls is currently being researched with amazing results in terms of cancer treatment, post-traumatic responses, pain management, etc...

 

So, I do something similar, but with the bowls placed on the client's body as well as around their body.

Would the pillow be good for head positioning? Is it comfortable?

Or- I find that placing heavy blankets or heavy pillows ( filled with buckwheat, etc... Of the kind used in sensory training with autistics, those with sensory processing disorders, etc) on those parts of the body on which I am not placing the bowls can facilitate the experience....

Do you think the pillows would work for either or both of these purposes?

This is an orange caramel tart on a tooth crushingly sweet and buttery graham cracker crust. I could almost feel the crumbling of the graham cracker in my mouth. The orange itself is bright but not overly sweet. Fantastic.

.....Even young women don't produce the attractive ratios of compounds that are in EOW all the time. Its an olfactory signal of ovulation......

 

On all other days of the month - according to the research - it would seem to me it doesn't matter if you are 25 or 45, you aren't making the optimally attractive blend, so we should all be on the same page with respect to dosage, all other factors being equal. If your SO doesn't respond well to EOW, it is probably specific to him and not your age.

And, a bit of tangential research... Majority of men are attracted to long hair on women. Theory is that it is an indicator of reproductive fitness (healthy body capable of sustaining such glorious growth). However, within subgroups, it was found that those men who were themselves not capable of producing offspring (non-swimmers; low count; etc) were more likely to prefer shorter hair on women or to rate shorter hair as more attractive.

NuTrix, have you smelled OCCO Blue? Scented Cuddle Bunny smells very similar. It smells floral *and* clean, "clean" being sort of along the lines of yummy, clean-smelling laundry. I personally think it's divine. It's one of my favorite scents, and definitely one of my favourite pheros.

It's one of My Beloved's absolute favorite scents.... And, the phero is a sure responder for him!

I’m seriously liking this one and jonesing for at least one FB... and this was not originally on my FB radar! This is indeed a wonderfully nice oatmeal and butterscotch scent; rich, buttery, and with just the right amount of sweetness.... MMMM, Yuummmy! Incredibly long-lasting, with nice throw yet with this remarkable close and compelling skin-scent. And, speaking of the throw and the compelling aspect to this scent, it really makes people around you happy and comforted. So many smiles and happy people around me while I wore this! I definitely like that!!! So important for me to know that the scents I am wearing help others around me feel good!

 

Now, up-topic, I see that Lady V spiked this with Lace. I’m not too sure how Lace works for me/on me as I do not yet much experience with the Lace blend... and, if I remember correctly, Lace was on one end of the spectrum with Lumina in the middle (described as a more complex and sophisticated than Lace and similar to but more subtle than Cougar) and Cougar on the other end... so, would Scotchies be okay boosted with Stone Cougar? I know Stone Cougar works admirably for me! I like the idea of the split-boosting... so, if this one would work for covering Stone Cougar, should it be two bottles of Scotchies? Or, a split with one of the other yummies from this month? Wicked? Pixie Dust? I haven't ever boosted anything (Mara does such a wonderful job in selecting beautifully appropriate scents and blends pairings, doesn't she?) and maybe it's about time I took a bit of a walk on the LP-boosting wild side...
