Tried my sample out today. When wet it is a sharp, almost male cologne type scent. After a couple of minutes this mellows out and I can start picking out the lavender, vanilla and oak moss. This is lovely. I get just a teeny hint of floral. I think I'll try out again tomorrow with a larger swipe to see if jasmine shows up. Either way, I really am enjoying this.

Eta: the long dry down is a velvety powdery finish and the lavender has softened up quite a bit. Very appropriately named.

This is so good on me! Raspberry usually works well on me and I love coconut, but I have had a hard time with a lot of the LPs with coconut. This one though is a bright raspberry that reminds me of the one in Torrid Sorcery. The coconut creaminess has just a hint of the musk & vanilla. I am thinking I may need a fb of this.

So happy to see that folks are getting the NRs and putting up reviews. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my NR sampler set to see what is a must-have. Ok, truthfully I am not so patient about it and I am stalking my mail carrier like mad, but it's good to have goals right?! Keep those reviews a-coming!!

The more I wear this, the more I am thinking FB. At first I was thinking this would be a novelty scent to wear around the house only, but I am really liking the dab or two I put on before I head out for errands. Especially Sunday grocery shopping at Costco, which is where I just came back from. Luckily I had my happy pie scent on to make it a more bearable trip. And yes, it does get better as it dries down and "bakes" in. Scrumptious!

I am such a sucker for lavender. Can't wait to give this one a try.

I finally got around to getting a FB of this and I'm so glad I did! This is such a good scent to wear to work, to layer, and to phero up as well. I made a little spray with unCougar and it is sooo good. Floral, but just the right amount, with a vanilla that smells expensive. I recently had a business trip and wore it everyday even though I did travel with 5-6 LPs. Love this!

Wore this last night and today for the first time. I love the powdery musky scent that has much more throw than I anticipated. What is odd though is that it is very much a masculine scent on me. I love manly comforting scents, so this is a big plus for me. It tips over to the manly arena on me so much that when I went to look up the review thread, I thought it was under the Men's section as a unisex scent. Gawd, I would love to smell this on guy right now....

Travel Shock, ( aka bottle shock) really? I never thought of that as a factor.

Oh yeah, it can play tricks on you. What messes with me even more than travel shock though is receiving a package during or right before my monthly cycle. And that is usually when I seem to receive my orders. I will test them out but know that I'll need to give them another go in about a week.

After receiving my sampler order this month, I ordered just a FB of Fleur de Vanille and a sample of Give Peas a Chance. I had thought about getting an unsniffed bottle of Amazonian Zee when I saw it zooming away so fast, but after I had a chance to try the sample, I'm glad I passed. Just not my thing. But then I have a hard time with heavy cocoa or coconut butters.

So far I am thinking fb of Amphrite, and possibly Rihla and Wink at the Moon. But alas, since it is as usual that TOTM, I'm going to wait a week to see if these are still playing nice with my nose & chemistry.

This one is a mighty lil morpher! Very green watery floral at first. I was thinking there is no way a spice scent could come through. Laladinky's review was spot on for me as well. After about 10-15 minutes, the green floral tamed down and I got a cool blue watery scent. But about 45 minutes later I started getting a gentle warm spice coming through. After that it is a a sweet lightly spiced skin scent that is so different and pretty. This was quite the ride! Magic in a vial.

I got my notice yesterday too! I only ordered this month's sampler and it has been soooo hard to wait to try them before purchasing FBs of ones that others are reviewing. Truly tested my patience!

LadyV, did you get the NR samples already?!?! You know we want to hear everything! This sounds sooo fab I can't wait to try it!

That is so cool that BOP grows naturally in So Cal. I would probably look like a whacko walking around there and staring at all the cool plants. Wait, I kind of did when I went to Disneyland last year. Every palm tree i saw was like I was seeing one for the first time. I walked everywhere looking straight up at them so I probably missed the ground beauties.

I am looking forward to trying all the NRs but I really think this one will be divine on me. I've been loving watery, green, and floral scents lately. It's like I can already smell this one in my head!

Holy heck! I didn't know about the trial sizes either! Yay for getting to try all the ones I've been lusting after.

Do you have any spell oils? Persuasion Potion is coming to mind, especially when dealing w/ the lawyer situation.

Okay shoot me for being lazy. I started to wade through the first 2 pages and got overwhelmed, here's my question:

 

I want only ONE sample from the Artfire site: the GGG of scotches. The rest will be fro the perumerie. Do I order and check out on the Artfire site then separate order the rest on the perfumerie? I assume Mara, you'd just add that trial vial to my whole order? I think I need a tutorial for the new cart system...I was going to order tonight but it's late and I'll be fresher tomorrow.

 

And I want to add cops to my next bottle of LP red... how? (I have never added before)

To order with cops, when you are on the LP Red Perfumerie order page, you would first select the perfume bottle under Choose Size and click Add to Cart.

Then right below that add to cart button, there is another one for Options. Drop that down and select Add Copulins Only $5.00.

Then in the box "Which Phero to which Perfume", you type in LP Red. Then click Add to Cart.

This is how I ordered Merry! boosted with cops (which is so fabulous btw!) and it worked out just fine.

Since there were 9 of the NRs that I want to sample, the decision to go with a sampler set was super easy. Now I'm going to be in big trouble if most of those are as wonderful as they look!

Love everything about this month's NR and I haven't even smelled them yet! Labels are gorgeous, descriptions are intriguing and the scent choices are so good! All around so creative! The only one I'm probably going to have a battle with is 4th Dimension due to the rose content. I have discovered that the scent of roses is my kryptonite.

I took one look at the NRs and immediately ordered a sampler set. Love this month's concept and I just know I'm going to fall in love with several of these beauties. Thanks Mara and team!!

 

Ohhh boy! I am always checking out those trade's posts...and now my little collection has slowly begun to explode...lol

I think I read in another thread that you like lavender and/or marshmallow scents. If so, keep an eye out for Purple Puff on the trading Forum. It's sold out, but not too very long ago. It is a lavender marshmallow scent and has LAM in it for you to sample.

Hehehe, I didn't even realize that I am now a Phoebe Figalilly. I guess I don't pay much attention to my # of posts except when I see those of you with thousands and think, sheesh, I'm just a wee lil' babe on here still. Now, if the counter was based on # of posts read, it would be a totally different story. Yay to all the mover uppers!

I have both BAM and LAM in Pink Amber and use them quite a bit. I feel like BAM is more me, but I often will BLAM it up if I am going to be in an upbeat social situation. LAM on it's own is ok on me, but I feel a bit spacey if I don't have some BAM to ground me a bit. And I can't wear as much if I do just LAM by itself.

I keep meaning to try the original one, but since I have 2 bottles to play around with now, this keeps getting pushed down my order list.
