OH MY GOD.

So I took a while to test this out because sniffed in the trial vial, this was all sugar to me... and I don't like overly sweet perfumes.

But OMG ON MY SKIN IT'S NOT. It's all yummy spices and wow. It just needs a bit of pumpkin and I'd smell like the most wonderful (NOT too sweet) pumpkin spiced latte. OMG. Just... SO DELICIOUS.

Damnit, another fb to go on my "to buy" list which is long enough.

This is Garland and Lace with WAY more spice. LOVE IT. (must be the gingerbread and spices)

Whoo. I just slathered a bit of this on and I smell like fresh cut weed or something. Yep, the cannabis is very very strong, totally overwhelming even the chocolate, which I can barely smell. Damn.

EDIT: Okay about 20 mins later.... I smell the floral chocolate, but I STILL smell the cannabis quite strongly. Not sure if this is for me.. going to let it dry down some more.

EDIT2: And now about 35 mins later, the cannabis has finally tempered down and it does smell like a floral chocolate. I still smell the cannabis bit it's this sharp note that keeps the rest of the perfume from smelling too mellow. Now, it's not bad... I like it, but I'm not sure if I can contend with the 35 mins it takes for this to not be all like "I SMELL LIKE WEED!!!!!" on me. lol.

Edit 3: And over 12 hours later this is still going strong. I still smell it on me. wow.

Fuzzy Wuzzy worked well for me (I don't slather so I added a few sprays of UN Gotcha!), but I admit that while the cakey/vanilla was nice, it's not really a "me" scent. I'm hoping to see if I like this Gotcha! scent combo better since I like the phero.

I have to try this! The cedar probably doesn't dominate.

I am curious too! I look at that each time I order and keep thinking of taking a leap to buy it but I haven't.

I am pretty sure I need this. I'm a little scared of rosemary being overpowering but I love all the other ingredients.

Essential Vitality! @_@ I'm so tempted to order fb w/o smelling it first. It sounds so amazing.

I think I put too much on! This is a very fragrant floral mix on me. Pretty but not for every day.

Reading the reviews has me scared to wear it though! LOL. I'm unattached and would freak out if people suddenly told me they wanted kids and/or marriage.

Edit: Wow, my skin is amping up the lotus like mad. I smell the other florals but the lotus is very very forward.

Edit 2: Wait, there's no lotus in this?? What is it that smells like lotus and is really strong then??

Yeah, he's a bit too... macho and muscled looking. Kinda weird for me. I think I like guys to look a bit more unassuming and not so large.

Reading the LP: Silver review thread makes me really want to order the fb. lol. (And there was that huge list of other bottles that I wanted to get too.... and not enough in my budget to get more than 1-2).

 

Really?? It is hard for me to imagine most women wearing this but, if you are a woman reading this - please do not let me scare you off. Several of the ladies here wear the slightly more masculine Unisex blends very well. and you could be one of them.

 

But guys - I don't see how you can miss with this one.

*raises hand* I'd totally wear this scent if it didn't turn weirdly powdery on me.

I had both pheros in the fragrances and in the UN form. I love AHE. The Lumina boosts my mood and I wear it for the self effects. Seems to work better in AHE than in the UN form with other scents. As for Cougar, I had it in sparkle Fuchia (a GGG) and loved it and the UN it didn't do much for me. In fact I finally threw the Cougar Un up on my trade page. I think I'm the only LP'r who is sort of "meh" with cougar.

No I thought I was the only one that was "meh" with Cougar! I though about getting a trial of the Un to see if it worked better for me but I never did. The way other people feel with Cougar is how feel with Topper/cops.

No.. you two aren't the only ones. I can't seem to get it to work for me and I've tried many times with both the Cougar fragrance, Enduring Appeal, and the UN Cougar, in varying amounts and I don't seem to get anything with it (not self effects and no reactions from people?) OTOH, Lumina's worked for me the couple of times I tried it. Self-effects making my mood lighter/happier, and seems to make people more friendly with me too.

I...I....am in the tiny tiny minority. I don't understand the drooling over this guy. (Yes, I'm sorry. ^^; Uh..... guess this is one less poster/pinup Mara will have to mail out.)

(But I am looking forward to seeing what is in the blends for Feb! Especially since we have Gotcha!)

Okay guys - some opinions - I am very very curious about LP: Silver, but there are no trial vials left, only full bottles. I'm tempted to buy a fb, but I've never bought fb unsniffed before. Is LP: Silver as awesome as people say? What is it like? I'm loving the LP Winter Variant 2011, a very crisp light scent to me. I'm getting the impression that LP: Silver is a crisp scent also?

LOL! I almost forgot I changed it! For some odd reason my old one is still showing up for me. Sort of recruiting - if she wants anything I'll probably be ordering for her. But I was still very amused. Must have been the pheros in the perfume. XD

This is really strange, I've been wearing it for the past few days out, and at first spray (when it's very wet on skin) I really don't like the scent. It's almost *too* green/lush for me, but within a minute (I guess thanks to the alcohol) this goes away and I know it's not in the notes in the fragrance but it really smells like a light green/floral to me. Sparkly almost.

Anyway - funny story, I sprayed it on today, and an old family friend, a lady in her 70's, stopped in her tracks and exclaimed "WHAT is that smell??? It's SO GOOD!" LOL! I told her it was my perfume, and I ended up giving her the rest of my trial spray of Strange Attractors (probably about 2/3 left in there). She'll try it out now for the next little while - though from what I gather she seems to already want a bottle!

OMG! Excited! I want to try the "essential" scents!!!

But since Mara is delaying release till Jan 15th it makes me think there must be something else to it than a men's month! I mean there must be some twist that makes the longer time necessary??

wow 25, thats young. You not paying any any mind to them along with your hotness probably drives them crazy. Im sure there are alot of ladies here who would love to trade places with you.

Maiea, I have THE SAME problem, maybe my natural signature may be a little too aggressive/alpha? I dont know. When I wear alpha blends they do not affect my honey in a good way at all but I find other men become very submissive to me and I have many younger ones follow me around its INSANE. I avoid the alpha blends, I stick to LFM, LFN, H&S or SS and cops and men are STILL submissive (infuriating, needy and wimpy) to me. Ugh, naturally, I find myself leading most of the males in my life, privately my honey is submissive and defers to me, in public we do a little role-playing so it APPEARS reversed and how I secretly wish it would be much more of the time. In the boudoir I am in charge most of the time which can be exhausting. If I wear Tah, LFN or est with cops then I know I can lay back instead of being on top, a very welcome change LOL! I am constantly making major decisions for others. I find women are naturally intimidated by me and God have I had my share of women trying to one up me, doesnt bother me at all anymore, I dont pay attention. Anyways, I cant speak for all men, but the mindset of my man and most of his upper crusty male friends is that women should be beautiful, subtle, quiet, impossibly thin, completely in charge and preferably tall, the chuppacabra. if not in charge those women are considered submissive and therefore not worthy of a relationship, yet many of those men will prefer sleeping or having the hotest mindblowing sex with non-alpha females under 30 and end up leaving those girls broken hearted and in therapy, thinking they had a deeper connecting with their man (OMG real emotions.. shock!). Those same men will fall HEAD OVER HEALS with women who are dominant, or dont really care about them, dont need them and do not give them the time of day. Its like "its safe" to project their fantasies, real emotions or whatever else cause the lack of emotion "feels safe" even though the sex life may be non-existant or even bad.

Whoa kat! LOL. I really often wonder what my own personal signature is too. I would laugh, but not really, if I put out an alpha male signature...because it sure feels like that sometimes.

Unlike you, I have NOT found a guy over 30 interested in me. Correction, I haven't found a guy over 25 interested in me. I'm utterly baffled! I'm 35! (And yes, my friends poke fun at me being a cougar but it's the truth! I would probably date guys my age if any of them actually asked - and are not nut cases - but it hasn't happened!) All I'm getting are these young 20-something idiot guys (and yep, needy, whiny, insecure, drives me nuts). I've gotten to the point where I'm not dating anymore because I've learned how stupid it is to try to date someone that young and the age/life differences. Oiy. I just seem to be bait for young guys who are supposedly "sick and tired of dating girls their age" for all the above said reasons of an over-30 woman (life experiences, maturity, stability, confidence, etc).

I'm sort of curious if we're going to get a new LP variant...

And yes, from what I have gathered from men over the past 21 years of marriage (through his friends etc) is that unless the guy is a total control/egomaniac freak, men LOVE a confident woman. Not controlling or overbearing, but confident in herself. Very sexy to most men. Hmmm, maybe some Dom for you? Or Lace???

Not to hijack this thread or anything (and not to sound like a cougar).... but I think this is true. Most guys I've run into, especially the younger guys like older women because we generally know what we want in life and won't beat around the bush. That said, I think this attitude of mine also ensures that I find most guys infuriating, needy and wimpy. lol. I have a few male friends who are quite alpha-male and well, they're totally fine as friends, but even just as friends I can find them horribly irritating in their alpha-male-ness. lol.

Hoooo boy, I see a long single life ahead of me. XD
