  6. We have three exquisite PEs this month. All very well designed and they came out fab! Poll: Do you want me to make Itty Sets for just these three? Ok, made just a few, $4 each for the following peeps: ALL GONE! Bella, MidnightRequiem, Tyvey, JLisa, BlackCat, Halo, Luna, Chelle, Hearts, Molokini Molly's Soul Smudge In Molly's words: I love fresh, clean scents. They make me feel renewed, refreshed, and energized. Like “smudging” my soul… I definitely could use that right now. My grandma had a saying, “it will all come out in the wash” and I’m hoping that is true. My favorite laundry detergent is a magnolia and lily blend. Magnolia is, as you know, one of my favorite scents, ever. I love the sweet, fresh, clean scent of the blossoms. Some of my favorite LP blends have the non-foody vanilla and linen notes. I want it to be innocently sexy, so the fresh spring honey would be a perfect addition. But I also want to be able to wear it to work, so not smutty, LOL. Ingredients: Non-foody vanilla, fresh linen, white musk, magnolia blossom, and spring honey. Fresh and clean, soft and approachable, huggable and squishable, but dignified and polished too! 3 bottles available ChrissyRez, BlueBear, Invidiana Lei's Femme Fatale Lei says: I'm thinking of a fragrance that would pair well with LFN. Something sexy, seductive, and provocative - a night perfume - I'm imagining a self-confident woman who's unapologetic about her looks and sex and feeling comfortable about who she is, with her image and her choices. A woman in a sleek black dress with high heels, sipping her cognac and leaving traces of her red lipstick on the glass, giving off the femme fatale vibe... I want to be able to wear something where I can feel powerful and independent and sexy and not need a guy type of vibe. Lei gave me a lot of great note choices to play with, and I'm really thrilled with the way this came out. It's sophisticated and sultry, it cruises in and around the scent types and seems to encompass them all. A little floral, a little delicious, a little woody....here's the notes I settled on... Ingredients: sandalwood and mahogany blended with vanilla and tonka, a dash of slightly spiced floriental musk, a little swig of black currant and a sprinkling of petals of jasmine and Bulgarian rose. 3 bottles available BlueBear, Invidiana, MidnightRequiem Michelle's Kizz Me This perfume while totally different, has a similar vibe to the one above, as it's a delicious but sophisticated floral. (I love them both!) Here's Michelle's description: The notes I want are dark chocolate, raspberry, black orchid and honey. I want to evoke a feeling of a deep, sensual connection like a long drawn out kiss or an intimate slow dance where two people are lost in the moment with the music and each other. I would like to name it Kizz Me. It's a bit of a play on words, but named after a dance that I have been learning over the last couple of years. Kizomba, an African dance characterized by close partner connection and smooth, grounded movement, often referred to as African Tango. The dance originated from Angola and the music is sung in Portuguese. Ingredients very much as Michelle described: Darkest chocolate, black orchid, black raspberry, dark sexy honey, and I laid these strong ingredients on a bed of non-foody vanilla. Wonderful! 6 bottles available JLisa, Invidiana, Sunnycowgirl ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And due to special request, I rebrewed a couple of last month's PEs: We now have 4 more bottles of Jennifer's Blue Moon available, and we have 18 bottles of Madame President available. Jennifer's Blue Moon 4 bottles available Chelle, BlackCat JLisa's Madame President 18 bottles available Tyvey, JLisa, QuietGuy, Molokini, WildVixen, JJL JUST ADDED! 10 more bottles of Oshun & Ogun DolphinDolls?, WildVixen, CycleKitten
  7. Thanks, Tink! I've unlocked the review threads. Just want to give an update on this month's PEs. I have fallen a tad behind, wanted to have them up today but it looks like Wednesday is my new due date. Thanks for the patience! xoxoxox
  8. And if you pop over to our facebook page, John posted a video for us too! https://www.facebook.com/LovePotionPerfumes
  9. Before Santa began to appear, it was the great God Odin (with his long white beard) who came around on his eight-legged flying horse each year! Children would leave their boots by the door, stuffed to the brim with food for his horse, and Odin rewarded the considerate kiddies by replacing the food with gifts and candy! So, Odin stopped by the shop tonight and gave out candy to all the little kids and grownups too. It was such an honor to have him there, especially since you usually can only encounter him on December 21st, and that's only if you believe. I overheard him promise one person a racehorse and also heard him threaten to turn a child into a rodent. It was just about the funniest thing EVER, pure magic! I wish Odin could hang out with us every day, but y'know, he's a busy guy. Look how delighted people are to have their picture taken with Odin! I imagine these will make beautiful holiday greeting cards for their families. Odin with our Helper Elf - Jesse. Odin said to him, "At least I don't have to wrap presents like that other nitwit". Jesse & Jennifer - Jenn snapped most of the pix this night, thank you, Jenn! Mae, having an elfing good time. Alexis and Jessica, making mischief. I went for a frosty blue and white theme this year. What's in the Cauldron? 3 gallons of whole milk 3 kinds of chocolate - lots and lots and lots about half a jar of Folger's Coffee crystals just under a gallon each of Kahlua and Bacardi Gold Rum. YUMMERAMA! (why did I think throwing a handful of marshmallows in there would make the picture look better?) Is Odin taking a selfie? More scenes from our magical night....
  10. DD, it's not even similar to my nose. I can't wear Sneaky Clean myself, the lilac note is headache-ville for me, but I can wear Madame Prez just fine. It's orchid in this case, which wears like a foody more than a floral. The olive blossom has a clean-ness to it, but it's also oily smelling, and that goes edible smelling on my skin too. Hope it works for you!
  11. Here is the Black Moonstone on it's own... and in the group... These are my blue balls. Celestite and Calcite. The clear Calcite ball... Crystal Heart - we sell these for $14.95, I think, in lots of colors. These are worry stones but I like to use them for divination. They have a perfect curve for reading. We sell these from $3.50 to $9.95 depending on the stone. This is a window or gazing crystal...they have a roughly sanded finish on most of it, and then just one polished face. They are also really good for divination or just meditation. We have these in Amethyst (shown), Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz and pale Smokey Quartz, for $8.95 each. This is the back of it... Also have a bunch of giant Amethyst points - they range between $20 and $45 and just got some Citrine pieces this size as well. Rounding out my ball collection....these are Contact Juggling balls! Have you ever heard the term? It's what David Bowie was doing in Labrynth. It's not easy! I bought a bunch of different sized balls for all of us at the shop hoping we could learn from utube videos, but that didn't work so I spent months searching for a teacher to come and instruct us but no luck there either. The balls are made from acrylic and you have to be really careful with them because if you drop one and it scuffs, it's useless. They need to be flawless for the illusion to work, and they are almost as pricey as crystals. These were the first two I purchased, WAY too big, stupid me. I have the proper sized ones at the shop just waiting for an instructor. We all do silly magic tricks at the shop so the customers think we are really real wizards. lol. I make light bulbs light like Uncle Fester, and John and Izzy do mind reading (math) tricks, we have magic wands with lighted tips and one that shoots fire! Well, it's a lighter. lol.
  12. Black Cat - the Black Moonstone spheres are $39.95, and the palm stones range between $18 and $22. I asked Alexis to hold aside the prettiest one for you in case you want it.
  13. Yes, for my forum friends they are $6 each or 4 for $20. In the shop they are $8 each or 3 for $20. It's a crazy good price either way - I checked to see what other artists are charging for theirs on Etsy Wholesale, and no one is wholesaling stuff like this for under $12, usually retailing for $20-$36 each! I can only do this price because I am making everything myself. And since I have been doing crystal wraps for over 30 years, I am quite fast at it, and my wraps are very solid and reliable.
  14. DD, will invoice you tomorrow as the other may be released by then.
  15. Dark and powerful female moon magic? Doesn't sound like you at all!
  16. Shipping on the smaller ones is easy - they are smaller than a jar of scrubs. The Black Moonstone ones are around 2-2.5 inches across, (smaller than a tennis ball - larger than a golf ball) and I think the price on them was $44.95. I include a wooden stand for each sphere. There are also a few black moonstone Palm Stones, which are big tumbled pieces that fit in the palm of your hand and if I remember correctly (not in the shop today) they are around $24.95. I can tell you for sure tomorrow if you want more info.
  17. Raw natural Amber chunks Beautiful Rose Quartz disks Amazonite - for success in all ventures - one of our most popular stones. Fresh Water Pearls - for marital harmony and prosperity Lapis Lazuli for communication Pale Amethyst for creativity, spirituality, dreams - stone of the subconscious mind. Dark Amethyst - drilled chunks. Natural Pale Blue Chalcedony - this stone is often dyed in modern jewelry but this is the natural color and I think it's prettiest! Called 'The Milk Stone', a traditional gift for lactating mothers. Gorgeous Azurite! A very rare find! Clear Quartz Crystals. Lemon Quartz - do these attract spirits??? Beautifully crafted hand carved Flint Arrowheads. Perfect gift for boys - they love 'em. Howlite Fangs. Howlite Skulls and Slices Stabilized Turquoise - for attracting friendship! Serpentine - for Health, Wealth and Longevity - also known as "New Jade".
  18. Also, there's this new material called K-9 Crystal that is manufactured in China and it's spectacular. It rivals Austrian Swarovski and kicks ass over Czech Crystal. Very inexpensive right now. The point of it is that it's optically perfect, so is even a smidge clearer than reconstituted crystal for half the price. I am seeing it all over the net right now, and I purchased one for the store just to check it out. Stunning. A wonderful home decor piece if you are just going for the look rather than the crystal properties....though they say they have wonderful Feng Shui benefits.
  19. Tink, Your collection sounds great! These are my bedroom balls The large ones are reconstituted crystal, (melted and reformed to look perfect), 4 and 5 inches. The clear one I purchased on sale around 6 years ago for $99.00. If you want to start collecting natural crystal balls, you get the most bang for your buck with Calcite. You can get clear optical calcite in white or gold, then opaque ones in orange, blue, white, yellow, and probably green as well. You can get larger stones for less money with these, with the baseball/softball size at around $40-$45, whereas clear quartz in this size will run you around $150.00. The two small ones shown here are calcite and I think I spent $30 for the smaller and $40 for the larger. I have more not pictured here, including a blue calcite one that is larger than these that I think I only paid like $35 for.
  20. Eggers, there's a Jasper one on the other end that really does look just like meat. I was calling them petrified cow tongues at the show and grossing people out. I amuse myself. Luna, those geodes are $350 each! I'm sure I will never sell them and you can place them on my grave when I die. lol. But we did need some large display pieces for the shop.
  21. Tink, I totally understand the curiosity factor! The smallest ones I have start at $4.95 for the size of a marble, then the next size up is $14.95 for about the size of a silver dollar. From there they jump to around $29.95 for a golf ball size, around $44.95 for a baseball to softball size, and then around $40 more for every inch in diameter from there. This is of course a rough average, as some of the stones are far more pricey than others, and good quality natural clear crystal balls are amongst the priciest. The most expensive ones I have are around $250.00. And the largest size I currently have is 5-6 inches. I would LOVE to have some basketball sized ones, but we're talking thousands. Once you get larger than 5 inches diameter, the price soars because the chunks they have to start with are so very big. A 5 inch diameter ball probably weighs around 10-12 pounds.
  22. The blue and blue-grey are all Blue Calcite of different hues. The lighter ones look like Celestite to me, but they were sold to me as Calcite so there ya go. They are wonderful. I need to grab a shot of the BRIGHT orange calcite ones I added to the case later. The Rose Quartz ones have such nice color. Did you notice the big paperweight like ones that are just kinda like polished cow tongues?
  23. Thought you'd like to see some of the items I got at the last gem show. I went a little nutty, I admit, but there was some really cool stuff this time around!!! The prettiest Labradorite I have ever seen - as big as your hand! I would have loved to get a few more of these, I only got 2 cuz they were pricey, they sell for $60 each. You can't really see scale from these pix, but these are boulders...I'm thinking around 50 pounds each? I have never seen this before and I am in love- it's BLACK MOONSTONE!!!! Soooo cool, I was forced to steal one and it now happily resides in my bedroom. I also got half a dozen "palm stones" in this, they are large tumbled pieces. Love. People really love stone hearts to give as gifts - they feel so nice in the hand too. We always carry a lot of these and picked up about 100 more at the show. As well as some large points in crystal in tiger eye and more massage wands. WHY do I love crystal balls so much?! I think it's because they are so lavish in a way...they're pretty much the most expensive form in which to buy a crystal, like buying an emerald cut diamond. They need to start with such large pieces to make them. I added around 30+ crystal balls to our collection at the show, kept finding more and more as I was unpacking that I had forgotten I had purchased. After I took this picture I added at least a dozen more in different colors. The thing about gem show buying is that it's a melee. You go - I'll take this this this this this this this, total it up, I'll be back in 10 mins, need to go to the next booth! There's never enough hours and you rarely get a second chance to grab something good. No less than half a dozen people tried to buy some giant rose quartz boulders after I had already claimed them. Things move sooo fast! Oh, I also got some large citrine points. More pix next time!
  24. Hi Eggers! Here is the Zebra Jasper I picked up at he show - cut and polished hearts, a little larger than a quarter and fat and round. Very nice! These are $6 each, and I have Dalmation Jasper coming in the mail, tumbled so around $1-2 per piece and those should get here in a week.
