Here's the latest.... I have 20 of each of these, and the price is $14 each. You can choose as many as you want now, and if you buy 2 or more I will take $2 off the price of each one, provided I am shipping them to the same address. (So, $14 for one, or buy two and they're $12 each). I string them on adjustable black veggie cord and pack them in a little organza pouch. ETA: I'm here at the store, putting up the scent lockets, and this is my verdict.... Orbs A, B, C and Heart 2, these are not quite the quality of the previous ones. The hinges are a little loose, and the catches are more difficult to hitch. I am dropping the price on these from $14 to $12, with the qty discount going down to $10. I have pulled the very best ones for those who have reserved them here. The newest ones, in the lower part of the post, Orbs D, E, F, Heart 3, Cage, and Egg, they arrived last night and they are PERFECT. The quality is exquisite. I'm recommending these over the designs mentioned above. Just FYI. I rec'd another order on Saturday! I got some heart shaped like above, and the rest are round like the orbs pictured but have no stones. I purchased 20 of each of 4 styles so the price went down a notch, price for these is $14.00 each. I will post some pictures later, I have to go to the store for the phone install today..

I popped in to say that I received my order today from Elizabeth, a Peaceful Home print, and it's phenomenal! The print quality is stunning, and her matting and mounting is such high quality. Yes, felt seems like an excellent choice. These are more plasticy feeling. They're from the primary-colored combo bags, not the link you shared, which look better. The ones I have I was using to make cat toys for my kids...putting them on the ends of pipe-cleaners. I used up all the large ones they like and the ones I had left were the perfect size for the lockets!

Such a good idea! I just happened to have some Poms of the right size so I stuck a couple in to each pouch for you to give it a try. Not sure about the composition of the ones I have....they feel very nylon-ish, so they may not absorb perfume that well - might be better to use a cotton ball than these, but put them in for the sake of science.

Yes. dab a cotton ball with scent and put it inside the locket. It's for people who's skin chemistry changes the scent of their perfumes. If you like something in the bottle but it goes off on the skin, you can try wearing the perfume this way. The heat of your body should warm up the locket and diffuse the scent.

I just got my test run of 'scent lockets' from China, and they are GORGEOUS. They are sterling-plated over copper, lacy designs with lots of beautiful detail. They are larger than expected! Around the size of a big stuffed olive, or a large cherry. You can fit a whole large cotton ball in these. Keep in mind these are plated - sterling over copper - and this is an experiment, I'm not sure how the silver will wear if wet with perfume oil over and over. These were not made as perfume lockets, I am trying them out for this purpose. They are prettier than any real perfume lockets I've seen though, just beautiful designs. I've got 12 of them I can share with you all right now...I will order more, though, if everyone likes them and they wear well. You can do a cleansing ritual followed by a specific working, yes. That is recommended practice! Piling them on all at once is a different story though. I would use them one at a time.
