  1. Yep, I converted to spray with perfumer's alcohol, and I spray it more on my clothes/hair than skin. It definitely lasts longer for me that way, and because it's such a gorgeously soft and clean scent it doesn't become too overpowering- it just wafts gently, like a pale, sweet cloudy breeze as I move around throughout the day. I find it really calming and refreshing.

Good to know, thanks! I'm waiting to get my June sampler, and might have to add a spray of this to my full bottle order. :)

  2. This is so soft and beautiful! I knew I'd love this scent. It doesn't feel green to me at all, it's a sweet, clean softly-rounded creamy white scent. I imagine this is what clouds feel like, captured in scent form. There's a light hint of soapiness, but it's not overpowering at all, and combined with the light floral presence and the pale vanilla sweetness, it makes me feel so fresh and clean. It also feels very elegant and feminine to me. I'm going to convert my oil to spray though, because my skin liked this so much it ate it all up.

Exactly, vladmyra! This wears similar on me, too! On application, I get pine, but it's gone in a flash, and becomes this gorgeous lightly sweet vanilla-iris. It reminds me of this soap my mom used to get, anyone remember Camay? I would always try to make the creamiest lather to wash my face, just like my mama. I haven't smelt it in years, maybe I'm thinking of Dove or something else, but anyways, It reminds me of the softest, creamiest gentle soapy lather that you can find. Defrosted doesn't last very long on me either, only a couple hours. Still love it though, and the sweet childhood memory Defrosted brought back.

Vladmyra, did you ever convert this to a spray? How did it work out for you?

  3. I think this is totally unisex, the bamboo is at the heart of it for me and the floral notes are just adding to the watery fresh feel. Simply lovely watery bamboo and smooth wood on the bottom...I don't even really get the yuzu unless it's just blending into everything else; it's so soothing. A wholly appropriate scent for work or social situations in that you will give off a nice clean gentle kind of vibe in combination with the phero.

Luna, is this a similar "freshness" that River Song has? I ordered a sample of this, it sounds like something I need in my everyday work arsenal. :)

  4. Ah, drat. Double drat. I have tried numerous times, and this is not gonna work with my chemistry. It starts off delicious cherry-marshmallow fluff, but in about five minutes, my skin is turning the cherry into something bad, or maybe it's the white chocolate, or the amber? *Sigh* Oh well. More for everyone else, I guess. Maybe I'll console myself and get another bottle of Poudre de Bourdons then.

  5. I love Pizzazz! Wet, it is just such a juicy, fresh happy fragrance, I can't help but smile, even when doing the most boring domestic crap today! And of course, the Cougar is making me feel like the shizz, even when folding laundry and mopping the floors. And I'm also a fan of the long dry down, this has the feeling of texture, like a soft suede. Not that it smells like suede, lol, but it makes me think of something soft and almost velvety. Love it!

  6. Wet, this very much reminded me of a lemon drop, with the maple sugar and creme brulee accord lending an irresistible sweetness and creaminess that is absolutely delicious. But the lemon fades away fairly quickly, and the maple starts to amp on me, so all I'm left with is maple pancake syrup. :frown:

  7. At first, the almond marzipan is very strong and sweet, almost cherry-like. It stays this way for about an hour, then the almond calms down a little, and lets the orange come out to play. It stays a very sweet, sugary orange-almond for quite awhile, and after about three hours, the nutmeg and sandalwood give it some spice and warmth. It's got some great throw, it didn't take much to be enveloped by the almond orange goodness. I can see myself wearing this on a chilly February day, sipping on hot cocoa looking out the window watching the flakes of snow stick to the window.

  8. Ditto! I'm feeling bad for placing, like, what, four orders this month so far? But Mara keeps setting out new stuff on Artfire and I have no self control.

OCCO Ambrosia was another episode of no self control. :Emoticons04235:

Sorry, Mara, but You List It, We Buy It!

    :yeahthat:

*sigh* Just made an Artfire order myself, self-control seems to be short supply here!

  9. Fairy Musk is doing some interesting things with my chemistry, it is slowly going from green to pink! Picture a green flower stem, rising up through the dew coated grass, slowly getting a lighter green the further up it goes. Then the delicate pink petals come into view, fresh and new, still with a tinge of pale green. Further up still, to the dew laced tips of the petals, a deeper pink blush, and finally, a glimpse of the heart of this magical flower, glistening with sweet nectar. Fairy Musk is enchanting! :w00t:

  10. :A002: My hubby wasn't here for my LP delivery and it's too late for me to pick it up from he post! I will have to wait until THIS TIME TOMORROW to pick it up (if they hadn't flipped my schedule this week I'd be knocking on the post door in the A.M. :D ). I WAS SO CLOSE! SOOOO CLOSE!!! :Emoticons08045: I'm going to go console myself with something chocolate...

Aw Nu Trix, that sucks!! Tomorrow will be here before you know, hang in there! :Hug_emoticon: If mine hadn't shown up today, I would have had to wait until Saturday!!
