OMG, this is GORGEOUS!! I'm very picky when it comes to honey scents, and this one is a WIN! This is a blend of honeys, spring, orange blossom and Aja. The honeys really do give a powdery vibe, with a little zing of ginger and lemon to keep things bright. Honestly, I can barely pick out the Aja in this one either, it's really well-blended. Soft and sexy. Me likey.

I'm praying the lorax thing and Aja in this don't get me all third eye blind and Shiz

Well, that is - the rose makes me slightly nervous too, but not terribly so (roses by other perfumers often don't work, but the couple of LP scents that I've tried with it have been fine to great).

But the Aja.... we really don't get along, no matter how hard I try.

 

I kind of hope there might be a version of this with no Aja (and maybe extra cops instead, yum! ) at some point.

Don't be afraid of the Aja in this! It seems to have WAAAAYY less Aja than Torrid Sorcery did, I can't even smell it! I'm not a fan either, it is just too strong for me. I just dabbed a little on my arm to test it out, and I get a rich raspberry buttercream, but like hearts said, it ends up very much a sweet rose scent. There's a subtle sweet, spicy element behind the rose, maybe the storax? No scary Aja, so don't be afraid!

Wow, this smells so good in the vial, it smells exactly as the description. On me, I am really amping the champagne note right now, maybe a little travel shock from my sample. I will give it a go again in a couple of days.

First impressions wet: Strawberry Bubbilicious! Like you just popped a piece in your mouth, that first juicy burst of flavor, the syrupy sweetness of that initial sugar rush. In minutes, it tones down, and morphs into a much more sophisticated strawberry, swirling around with a whipped vanilla buttercream and something a little perfumey in the background, must be the musk! I think I will like the dry-down if the musk comes out some more on me.

Welcome to the forum. I think Heart & Soul or Levitation will be most suited to what you're looking for. You don't necessarily need a pheromone blend to give off a more youthful impression as grapefruit scents can do that part for you. I always loved how affectionate & protective of me that Heart & Soul made people around me act.

Welcome! Heart & Soul and Levitation are two of my absolute favorite phero blends. For me, I have definitely gotten the "White Knight" treatment from men, and women! Levitation is basically Open Windows with DHEAS added, it is a great mood elevator. I also love Cougar for sassy, upbeat confidence.

The samples idea is actually a really fantastic one- I didn't think of looking for phero'd fragrances to buy samples of just to test the actual pheros ( I am really picky about fragrances). I couldn't find one for Heart & Soul, but I found Lace, La Femme Mystere, Cuddle Bunny, and SS4W, so should that be close enough to tell me what sort of thing works for me or if Heart & Soul would work for me?

Before I came here, I was SUPER picky with fragrance as well! So what type of fragrance do you like? I like the concept of LP: no fixatives, oils that hang close to the body, samples, and LOTS of choices, truly something for everyone. And superior customer service, AWESOME people on the boards, this place can't be beat! I hope you will love it here, and I can't wait to read your reviews!

I'm glad that Aja is in a couple of blends for the NR's this month, because it's just too strong for me in its straight form. I love it in my Torrid Sorcery, but I haven't had any success layering it with anything I have.

I'm totally getting Halo's Strawberry. I think I might sex mine up with SS4W or Lace tho- because I want to smell like a slutty fem shortcake.

Hi Darbla, what about Cougar or Gotcha? Those have a small amount of cops in them, and they are great socials. They are the only ones I wear to work, (in scented Cougar and Fuzzy Wuzzy) I'm also too chicken to wear the straight-up OCCO's! Super Sexy for Women is great, men and women love that one, and no cops in that one at all. Sneaky Clean is great, I've been meaning to try my X-Appeal sample for work, but I have yet to do so.

ETA: They are the only ones I wear to work with cops in them.

So happy to hear that it worked out great with the car buy. It sucks how you got it but as long as you're ok and you got some snazzy upgrades, then congrats!!

 

As for La Sylphide, I wish I could have loved it as much as everyone else. It just wasn't me. Hopefully it's gotten a lot more attention and love in its new home.

I wore La Sylphide again this morning, thought the LFM would be a good choice for the auto repair shop. In addition to my previous application points, I put a swipe on the backs of my hands so the service person behind the counter would get a nice whiff as I was filling out the paperwork, hee. Chitchatted for a few minutes, then took a seat in the waiting room. I was given three updates on the progress of my car, even though it was just a minor repair. When it came time to pay the bill, I was told I would be given a 15% discount! I checked their website when I got home, because they will run specials with coupons, but nope, nothing listed for my type of repair. I go there all the time, and have never gotten a discount unless I printed out the coupon. And it is the same person behind the counter I always see.

DAMN. Starting to regret not going fb with this one. Just........DAMN.

Mmmm!! Delicious, creamy gingerbread eggnog! That's what this smells like to me. I'm not getting much of a pumpkin pie impression, but maybe that will come in time. And Lace is the bomb! Happy,happy. Think I'm gonna wear it today.....

It was too funny! I've gotten the same results with Sweet Chic, I can't slather that one either, or it makes me grumpy and impatient with people. But just a little bit, and SHAZZAM! My sample will last for AGES.

So I wore this to the local grocery store this morning to do a little shopping for some Thanksgiving items. By the time I got to the store, it was late morning, and already busy with weekend shoppers. I was not wearing much of this at all, a one-inch "X" from the dipper stick on my cleavage, an inch swipe between collarbones, and an inch long swipe on the nape of my neck. Not a lot.

I do like the scent of this much more than GOTBM. It's very light, somewhat powdery, and the sandalwood is not overpowering everything.

I was in the produce section about five minutes, and the stocking guy, who I've seen a hundred times before and has ignored me always, says, "Ma'm, is there anything I can help you find?" Me: "No, but thank you" Him: "Ok. Are you sure? I know this department like the back of my hand. If you need help with anything at all, please just ask for Larry"

Um, it was totally packed with people, and he certainly didn't extend that offer to others that I could see. And I looked like I got lost on my way to Walmart, old jeans, sloppy sweatshirt, messy ponytail/bun mutant-hybrid hair, and NO MAKEUP!!!! (Um, I'm in my mid-fourties, need all the help I can get!!)

So now, I am perusing the meat department, and this manager is walking by, makes eye contact, smiles, stops and says, "hello there, are you finding everything ok? What can I help you find? Did you notice our sales on meats this week?" Some of you may be saying,"so what, that's their job", but if you knew this place, very unlikely, they usually run the other way!

Then I am looking for kitchen twine, and must have just looked distressed, TWO people materialized out of nowhere to offer assistance, and one of them noticed the list I had in my basket, and offered to walk me around the store to make sure I found everything ok! And people around me were totally ok with this obvious preferential treatment. So is this what it's like when celebrities go shopping??

I think with my chemistry, LESS IS MORE with LFM, the last time I wore it, I mistook it for Lace and sprayed three sprays of the UN, and people were getting the hell outta my way, like I was Darth Vader inspecting the Death Star or something. I even had the young checkout guy accuse me of trying to steal something that I forgot on the bottom of the shopping cart. Even when I told him I just forgot it, he didn't believe me!

With SS4W, I don't get much in the way of selfies, for those I love Cougar. It's funny, the guys who don't respond to Cougar seem to love SS4W, lots of winks and smiles.

We have Lowe's here, maybe I'll have to make a trip there this weekend for, *ahem* "testing purposes".

I'm messing around with my trial vial of Un Bang tonight, and I don't smell any cops? From all the reviews, I was prepared for something pretty pungent, but I barely smell anything. I usually am pretty sensitive to cops, sometimes I can even smell them in my scented Cougar. Anyone else find this to be not stinky? Or am I a weirdo?
