WTF?? Starlitegirl is rambling like a crazy person about some phantom fragrance and Ajia knows what she's talking about. What is this delicious scent you two are privy to? Do only the popular kids get it?

I would bathe in a vat of this stuff if I could. I am in love with Red and complete lust with Scandalous. This is an intense sexed up version of Red and I respond like Pavlov's dog everytime someone mentions this fragrance. Not pretty or ladylike.

Ooh, not that I encourage licking oneself in -20 degree weather (as it is here), this scent sounds magically delicious. I can't wait to smell this one now.

This one is sheer fruity goodness. I love the color and the sweetness. You're right SB, this would make a great lotion.

Just a note to anyone who gets hold of a Mermaids sample and wants to try it.....remember to shake first! It should be a little cloudy before you apply it. The full bottles had a pearl in the bottom so that when you shake it, it helps to mix it up.....shaking changes the character and seems to make it richer with more depth......on me, at least.....

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...Scandalous!!! I ordered it from Magical Omaha and everything was going great, then Cindy informed me that they were actually out but would sent what little sample she had. I hoard the sample for fear it will disappear because I won't be able to stop wearing it. Please stop my insanity.

OK, update, for those of you who have a similar chemistry to mine....(((JOANNA))).....throughout drydown on this one, I get all kinds of fruits....it is great! But this morning, something different happened.....about 4.5 hours after application, it is almost EXACTLY like scented Cougar! I am happy about that because I missed getting a full bottle of Cougar before it sold out (I only have a sample or two)......

Spit huh? How dramatic! As for the amber slut thing, I am curious... Do you prance around in your knee-high red lace-up patent leather boots when you are wearing amber, or to earn the money to buy more amber?

Ahh, Dolly, we are so alike it scares me sometimes, but it always gives me hope that someday my life will be as exciting as yours.

I noticed that the first ones you tested were the ones that attracted me the most. This is one I am anticipating wanting a full bottle on. It sounds from your description that I was right, I will want one.

I am so excited for this scent I could just spit! They had me at Amber. I'm like an Amber slut. If a scent has it in there, I want it.

Ah, this is one of the few new samples I ordered. I'm excited to get this one in my grubby little fingers. You can't go wrong with the bubbly!!

I am holding out on the new samples. I wanted to smell up SB's incoming bundle, however, I did breakdown and order three. This is one of the one's I was really interested in. I love the concept and photo. I want to get full bottles instead of carting around a million sample (not that I don't already. ).

I love the tobacco scent in Marley's Ghost and the boozey scent in both Pirate Bumbo and Want. It seems that there's no bad here with Soiled Dove. I have a feeling I'm going to want a full bottle.

So, I bet you can guess what I'm doing! Bathed in a bunch of new samples, sniffing myself into oblivion!

 

Since I am an amber lover, I had to test out Amber Enchantment! This one is really nice! It starts out sweet, but pinky-sweet. I guess that is the pink sugar. Then it starts to deepen, but still with a fluffy sweetness on top. I like this one.

So is it sweet like candy plus lots of amber??

I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or just post here.....but for any of you who are waiting for Dolly's Dark Side, all I can say is O! M! G! This is heavenly! It starts out almost sweet with the dark florals and vanilla......then it gets darker and richer......then even darker, till it is all dark florals with a deep black musk and resins.....I am ecstatic! It is exactly what I envisioned!

This one is HIGHLY underrated. It's like the secret scent that no one knows about. This scent is gorgeous and completely blew me away. It is one of the sweetest, softest fragrances I think I've smelled. I have to be honest, I never would have selected this to try. I got this sample from the ladies with my order. I didn't even know chyrsanthemums HAD a smell, so I can't even begin to describe it. If I had to, I would say it's a spicy floral scent, not like a carnation, just a hint of spice. It's simply gorgeous. It reminds me of a subtle, elegant French perfume. I snagged a full bottle and I'm not sharing.

I can't wait to try this one. Today I bought a full bottle unsniffed because of the interesting comments in this thread. I was ordering some other things, some for me and some for a birthday gift, and Hexen came to mind and I hunted up this thread. That was all it took!

This scent is like nothing I've ever smelled before. Like I said earlier, I wanted this one particularly for the properties not as a scent per se. I think you'll like it. Make sure you post here after you try it and let us know.
