This was my first experience with LP products and it was a wonderful experience at that. On me initially, this is slightly powdery with a hint of lemon and a strong resin smell. After about five minutes, it dies down very nicely. Faint powdery sweetness, hint of citrus and rose and a soft spice. Not too strong at all. Also not too powdery on me, which I love.

I was afraid it would be to strong, so I used about a 6 inch roll on the inner arm and then rubbed onto my other arm. It turned out to be the perfect amount.

It makes me feel exotic and sexy. It actually makes me smile when I "get a whiff" of myself.

LP Black is just devine blended with NOX. If you don't have that one, you should pick-up a sample and try them blended. The hint of blackberry makes it just divine.

Hi everyone! I'm new (and shy!) to the forum. I was introduced to LPs by way of bpal swaps. I've been on that forum for a few years and was enabled by some recent swaps. I'm actually finding that more LP scents work on me than quite a few other etailers. :angelstar-kaos058:

Very small world! Welcome aboard. We can be squibs together. From what i understand, your "ranking" changes after 30 posts (so you are no longer a "newbie" after that).

Wow! Cool background info on you...thanks for sharing... (or should we say in unison "Hi Christine!" and show you to the coffee pot and doughnuts? ) How much training did you get at Nordie's? I'm curious to know because I've had such spotty assistance there in the past - some TRULY knowledgeable SA's and others that seemed to be merely taking up space.

 

So, are you still interested in pursuing the Aromatherapy/Healing arts? I sit here jealously pondering a fulfilling career my own self, heh.

I worked as the Counter Manager for 2 years and was responsible for overall sales for mens and womens fragrances. I wanted to learn, so I worked with several of the vendors to obtain training. They, of course, were more than happy to provide me that assistance because it made me a better sales person for their line.

As for the healing arts... I have completed an Essential Oil Drop Therapy class where I learned to use essential oils with specific back massage techniques to release pent up emotions. I am a certifed emotional release researcher (through Color Vision) and am a Level 1 Reiki apprentice. Apparently, I have a natural talent for energy healing and would like to combine that with the use of aromatherapy and/or crystal therapy. It is a side hobby of mine. In my real job, I am a Human Resource Manager for a large company and teach HR classes at one of the local universities.

Well, apparently I skipped this little step when I started posting...

My name is Christine and I live in Eagle River (Anchorage), Alaska. Wow, that felt very AAish... I am also on good terms with JoAnna. She and I have been friends for 10 years now. Wow, it has been that long?

I absolutely love fragrance. Years ago (in a past life JoAnna and I share), I managed the mens and womens fragrance counter at the local Nordstrom. I learned a lot about notes and ingredients during that time. Recently, I have delved into the world of Essential Oils and energy healing. I have taken a few classes and seminars to get my feet wet. I have purchased a ton of medical grade essential oils (which Jo is extrordinarily jealous of) and love them.

I was at JoAnna's house one night and she introduced me to LP. Of course, I tried on about 10 different samples that night. I don't think I had any uncovered skin on either arm that didn't have some kind of scent to it. I walked away with two bottles and was hooked. I placed an order the next day and another one three days later (after I found out about the "endangered" list).

 

Woo-hoo! Got my response the other day, too! I'm so excited, I actually had a dream about my order, last night:))!

Not kooky at all. Congrats on your order. Mine is still in progress. Luckily, I have two scents to hold me over until mine arrives. I placed an order and then two days later placed another one. I can't wait...
