I say at least get a sample of this one, it's like Mara took the note I liked best out of all of my favorites & combined them into this fragrance. I swear it has just enough sweetness, the perfect touch of exotic & ultra femme notes, it smells like something you would pay waaaaayyyyy more for in a department store, lol.

I took a look at your scent page, and we do have similar taste I believe. And it reminded me that I liked Cheap Girls, which on paper wasn't my typical kind of scent, very floral, and I like Neanderlicious very very much, even though it's very resinous (guess cause it's very sweet too), so sometimes it's good to break the rules.

This scent makes me feel all sparkly, sexy, and confident. Also everyone who passes my office is sneaking little peeks in and smiling or saying hi as they go down the hall. It's as if there all saying hey Who's That Lady. I love it. I will be buying another bottle tomorrow.

Yeah, that is one thing I noted last time I wore PP for my Halloween party, I get major self effects, and it's not crash and burn self effects, they seem to last.

The perfume description of WTL is not what typically go for, I like sweet foody scents or cleaner slightly romantic ones , but I will definitely get a sample of it, just because it has PP in it.

Sooo... wore PP last night, as promised, covered with some of my PE Mademoiselle Pancake, basically banana cinamon vanilla brown sugar kind of mix, 2 girls commented on my scent, it was funny. I have worn this scent along and never had this reaction.My skin really amps PP for some reason, and it just really smells good on me. So combined with a perfume, it's double whammy.

Sooo back to my party, as soon as I get in, this guy is very much into my costume, Batgirl, and tells me how I am juts perfect for the costume, because the new batgirl is blonde, the guy is like this comic geek, and he's so into my costume that he goes like "now, I have to stop talking about it and looking @ it, because I'm overwhelmed, I'm gonna get in trouble!"... Must have been my super powers or something! ;-)

My BF and I ended not staying long at the party, we had a big tournament today, but on the way out he was like "yep, you were the big star of the party again" ... hehehe... ;-)

I have tried it. In fact I still have a small amount left from years ago. This is my #1 favorite and I'm so glad it's coming back. PP opened a lot of doors for me in my work environment and socially. It's an all around awesome mix.

I am with you on PP Countesszero!! I looooooooooooooved it. And PP loooooooooooooved me back! ;-)

I have found mx 135 not be pretty good in social contexts, but it was not as reliable and as powerful as Popularity Potion. PP has been one of the few fail proof mix for me.

So, I have to say a huge THANK YOU to Mara & Dana & Stone for releasing this baby again. I am so glad it's back, I'll be able to wear my precious stash of PP again, without fear of running out forever.

Mademoiselle, thanks for the info. I decided to get the OCCO trails so that way I can try ALL the scents out, sounds like too much fun! And I've read the reviews for LAM and that one sounds awesome. The whole "stupid-horny" behavior should be pretty funny (if my bf even reacts--I hope so) but I am going to get Lace so I figured for now, I can layer that with the cops to get a mix of the A-nol and cops if thats what I'm in the mood for but I know it won't be the same cuz of the Est. but maybe (?). But for sure in my future I want to try LAM. And I actually wanted to try the pink one you have, so it's nice to know it covers well. I have a list all ready to go of what I'm about to order and then I have a second list too, for when ever next time is, and it keeps growing and growing, lol. I'm anxious to try so many of them, but I do have some samples coming and I think they should be here tomorrow YAY!!!

Personally:

-LAM only works on my woobie in The Captivation Equation, which has a higher concentration of the mix, IIRC (hopefully someone else can verify this).

Luna I think Mara mentioned this in a previous post, Captivation Equation has only 333mcg per bottle, it is the same concentration as any phero enhanced fragrance (not like fragrances boosted with add-in pheros FYI)

HoneyBee, welcome here! I think both OCCO + LAM are staples, you can't go wrong with either one. Finding the scents that work best for you is also a big part of the fun.

I really like the fun effect of alphanol in LAM, so I think it is a great one to carry around, it seems to losen up people around you.

That said OCCO has great scents, I love the pink, have it in spray form. It has a great throw. Blue is also a great scent, although it took me while to get used to it.

My BF doesn't seem to be affected by phero much, so I wear these for myself really.

My first reaction would be to use a 'strong' phero blend, something that makes you feel unbreakable. (not sure you can say this in english ;-))

You could also use a 'chatty' phero blend, to make sure words come out of your mouth easily...

I can't say for sure, but I would definitely get in touch with Love Scents. They have always been super nice with me, and seem to stand behind their products.

It's kinda funny. I tested it again last week just for the hell of it and got a completely different reaction. I hardly put ANY on. My boyfriend and I had lunch together and about halfway thru, he totally gave me the DIHL. on the way back from lunch, I got a text from him. "omg babe, you are sooooooooo sexy, I want you NOW!!!"

Now that's not out of the ordinary for him, but it was completely out of context and out of nowhere. Also, I noticed that my young male boss was pretty much at my beck and call all day long, kept asking if there was anything HE could do for ME, lingering to talk, etc. Normally he is all business. And it's funny because he had to stand much closer than normal during a group picture, I think he got a noseful of the Neanderlicious. I mean I was hardly wearing ANY. So maybe that is the key with me. I also felt ultra confident. Hmmmm.

To me what I get when wearing TAH, is it's ok to let my guard down. It probably makes me more approachable, but doesn't affect my self esteem at all. As a matter of fact, I think it DOES take confidence to let one's guard down, so it could be that TAH is not for the days where you feel a little down or pressured by your environement?...

Generally speaking, I don't think that the equation to find a good phero mix is to think alpha personality will pair well with 'dominant' phero mix, and vice versa, softer personalities will do better with softer more feminine mix.

It is more complicated than that, just like no one is probably always alpha or always a little cuddle bunny.

It's funny how you got such a different feel last time you wore TAH Dgsweets, you might want to check at what time of your cycle you were, when you had the really negative experience with TAH.

Or as you noted, it might be a dosage thing.

I like the posts I read on TAH. It's interesting.

I think TAH enhances a sense of vulnerability, which, if it is paired with a natural self confidence, can probably be very attractive to the opposite sex.

Dgsweets, TAH is probably not for you, or not by itself. It's funny how we react so differently to a particular pheromone. You said that on good days you feel 'unstoppable', it could be that you need something 'tougher' to go out, not something to make you softer.

Because there's something quite young and flirty about TAH also, I am not sure it is the best phero for a work environment or the type of places where you have to be fool proof, on top of your game and NOT show any vulnerability. I would not wear TAH mixes at a serious conference for example.

But for casual social settings, going out, or just hanging out with your man, I think TAH is fantastic.

Wow,I surely am grateful to not ever have had any problems so far...but then I have never tried straight EOW.Don't think I would as I am an Occo fan...I like to run a path of Occo Red just under my collar bone,from shoulder to shoulder and do the smooshing thing all over my stomach and chest,mixed with LP Red I do the same with G&L .Never tried Liberty Belle tho.

You know Calii, I scaled down my usage of pure EoW but I sure as hell wear some cops, and when mixed with some other perfume oil, it seems just fine. OCCO hasn't never been a problem so far.

Belly button to cleavage (not chest), BACK of neck under your hair. Those are the best application areas to diffuse along with your body heat, and run the least amount of risk of sensitivity issues.

Ok sorry if I didn't use the right term, I have experienced the rash on my abdomen/tummy area with perfume oils. And back of neck as well. It's weird.

It could be a spice overload, which sucks, cause I like spicy scents for sure. ;-(

The reason why I mentioned that each EoW bottle is different is because it is my personal experience, they all smell slightly different to me, the balance is never really the same, as if they age in their own way. Some seem to smell stronger than other too, so I thought that the skin reactions I have had with this current bottle maybe wouldn't have happen w/ another one. Who knows?...

Yeah, the thing with EoW is that each bottle is going to be different too, and I always knew I had to be careful with it, but some of the reactions I had with it were just awful. It was the alcohol version fyi.

so, I have been wanting to post about this for quite a while now.

I have been having skin reactions to oil mixes over the last 2 or 3 months.

I remember having a horrible horrible reaction to an application of pure EoW. I didn't have a problem before with pure EoW. I would put on a few drops, and my skin would swell pretty badly, turn red, and feel like burning.

I tried not wearing EoW anymore in a pure form, let the skin rest, and try again. One time it was so bad I literally had a couple scars, on each side of my neck. It is all better now, but it took me a month to heal totally. My skin in these areas would be super sensitive to any product and kind of itchy.

So that was my issue with Eow, which I now use very carefully, avoiding application on the chest or neck.

Now, with perfume oils, namely Garland & Lace and some other ones, I would notice some kind of light red rash on my chest at the end of the day. It took me a while to understand the rash was coming from perfume oil application. I would experience this when I would slather really, and with all kinds of different perfume oil.

Only on rare occasion the red rash would be really bothersome and would make my skin itchy.

So I decided to take some days off with perfume oils, and generally my skin feels better. I am just more careful these days with applying a large quantity of oil or applying several days in a row.

I tend to wear my perfume oil more liberally on my wrists and arms now, and my hair.

I have to say also, that I don't have any known allergy, my skin is very easy going and tollerates pretty much everything when it comes to makeup and cosmetics.

I think that for now I want to wear more sprays than oils because of all this.

I am curious as to whether some of you have had similar experience.

Also I want to say this... when I first got into pheros, I think I didn't know what to expect really, and what to look for. Sure there are days where I wear a killer combo and I am getting out of this world crazy hits, but on day to day basis, I am looking at subtle changes, in myself and others.

And being able to identify these changes takes time.

My second point is that there are mixes that seem to not work for me, where I don't feel any self effects -I'm good with self effects-, while I read about people's great experience with the same mix. So there's really a process of finding what works for you. Just like it takes time to figure out what flatters your body type, what colors work with your skin tone etc. We're all unique.

Another thing I have found is that the carrier is usually super important. Scented mixes might give you more results than unscented version.

I like to wear a pretty generous dose of perfume oil, when I am wearing some, because my skin tends to eat up scents too, and finding spots that are better for difusion makes a big difference as well.

Hair can retain scents for a longer time, so can fabric.

Yep, me as well. I feel like I have something special when wearing cops, well, we all do, don't we? ... But it's more like a power thing, like I have the key to the treasure haha...

I get a healthy vibe from it too. Related to the message of fertility in cops probably.

Since this is on sale, I am going to try it. I loved Me, Jane and had the best fun with TAH, so I am trying this. I hope it isn't too woodsy on me. Some of the reviews remind me on my old love Bonne Bell Skin Musk so I think I may like it. I have a very strong, dominate personality but at the same time prefer to not be dominate in the bedroom. TAH definately brings out the drag you off and have my way with you reaction I love.

I too like TAH, works well with me, Me Jane worked amazing on me, Neanderlicious is a very type of scent, less diffusive, but I really like it though. It is darker than what I usually go for, and yet still very sweet and feminine. The resins are a very nice touch.

And I have to say that Lace is PERFECT for these kind of days. It's like magickal fairy dust that makes me feel peaceful and relaxed and all joy to the world. Sometimes it even makes me want to take a happy nap (particularly after a kicka$ workout).

Exactly my experience w/ Lace Starlitegirl! The feeling of having always someone looking at you, I have felt that too!

This blend was and still is one of my favorite, if not my big favorite. I have had crazy results with this mix. VIP treatments and such! ;-)

Now that it's out of stock, I use it for special occasion. When I wear it, I can wear a ton of it, but I keep it for some special nights!

Lace is also EST- heavy, without breaking the bank!
