  1. Thanks so much Dolly & Eggers ~ for clarifying (it is ok to combine perfume/scents together)... and also for that "takes two thread" ...very interesting...and didn't realize that existed... appreciated the help!
  2. Hi everyone ... and first, this is meant as NO offense to anyone ... just a little insight (which I am sure the long-time users are already aware) of the mind of a newbie, such as myself. As I know virtually nothing about pheros in general, and have been feverishly reading the forums to try to learn as much as I can, from the feedback and/or advice of others. It's true (and although can't speak for others) but I think quite often, when a newbie reads something (results, for ex.)...we just take it as "gospel" that's its a fact (because we just don't know enough yet ~ or haven't had any experience).. and think " I have to try that, too!" (heck, I know I was ready, to try some of those combos mentioned..before reading the expertise of Dolly, and that very informative link she provided (of her and Mara's advice). QUESTION: having said all that ... reading this thread has brought up a question I hadn't previously thought of...what about layering different scents-only..(no pheros). Is that ok? For example, if you have a scent with cinammon..and you wanted to add a fragrance that had vanilla or nutmeg, to add all those different notes (again just perfume/scents only) Does that work..or would that get wonky and not advisable as well? Thanks!
  3. Hi, BlueBear...Yes...it probably was an "error" message (and not "no results", as I had noted). Thanks so much for explaining -- now I understand what I was doing wrong. (as a newbie there is SO much information to learn, and how to access it all) .. so appreciated your time to explain the search functions! Thanks so much again!
  4. Hi again, Luna ... and thanks for your reply. Possibly I didn't look through all the search? As an example, I was reading through some of the older posts in the forums, and there was an entry that said "read my thread for more about LP red" ... so I went to the search box (on the top/right corner of this page) ... entered "LP Red" (and then when it asked where..I entered "forums")...but then the results came up "no search results found for that item". So I know I'm doing something not quite right. (If YOU were to search for a thread on LP Red, for ex. ~ exactly where/what would you enter?). Thanks so much again, in advance!
  5. Thanks, Luna, for that link...that was extremely helpful. May I ask another question? You had included that thread (link). When reading the forums, often there is mention of "threads" of certain items. I tried searching for them, by entering the name of the item, and "forums", in the search box ... but they do not come up. Is there a certain way (or how should I do a search) to locate a particular thread on an item? Thanks in advance!
  6. Hello everyone ~ I've tried to find this answer in the forums ~ but could not ... are the cops in Beth's Blushing Milkmaid and OCCO White comparable? (as far as strength?). Or does one contain more cops than the other? And do you have a preference (or would recommend) one over the other (and in regards to scent as well?) Thanks!
  7. Dang!! Everytime I think I finally have my first order ready to submit? MORE incredible selections are released ... and have to re-do!!
  8. Hello everyone... Need your expertise and suggestions. Which would you recommend is better? Getting a phero lightly scented... or a (perfume) scent boosted with a phero instead? (in terms of effectiveness, value, etc...or just plain "like" better)? Thanks!
  9. Thanks, StacyK...regarding advice of no "cops in the hair" ...I've certainly learned from from everyone's warnings on the forums ~ that is definitely a "no-no" !
  10. Thanks so much Honeycake, luna65 for the advice. And tyvey...that was interesting about "trying LP Red in hair" ~ as that (Lp Red) was one of the items I planned on purchasing with my first order...thanks again!
  11. Hi, everyone: As a newbie, recently I had a question about applying cops (and was advised by forum members.."to be sure they dried down completely, do not get in hair or on clothing", etc.). Does that mean that LP perfumes (that have no cops and/or no pheros) can be used in your hair (or on clothing)? ...Or are there properties in the perfume/scents ~ that should not be used in that way as well? Thanks everyone for your help!
  12. Oh, thanks Halo ... and got it...cops in oil ~ gives more "control" then (and doesn't "disperse" as much during application).
  13. Halo0073 ..your reply actually brought up another question for me...when you said "you tend to have cops in oil"? Does that mean when you purchase (a cop-related product) you actually have the choice to indicate whether it is to be in oil...or in another "version"? And is one type better than another? (and thanks everyone with your patience with all my "newbie" questions!
  14. Thank you so much for explaining the application method, Dolly & LadyVictoria!
  15. Hello everyone ... as a newbie ~ have a question (and have searched on the forums but cannot find the answer). When everyone mentions using a "cover" scent -- does that mean, for example, after putting on EOW (and after dry-down) or a phero -- do you place your cover scent right along SIDE of it...or... actually right ON TOP of it? Thanks for your help!
  16. Hi, StacyK ... and thanks for your recommendations (and for noting that Pink Sugar does cover cops well ... that was something I had meant to ask also..so good to know!
  17. Thanks so much for such quick replies and suggestions Hearts & Tyvey! And Miss Hazel... even though I listed some items, I actually didn't have any products "in mind" (as a newbie, I'm still in the process of compiling my first order ... so have no idea what any of the products (or scents) are like. I listed the ones above, just as examples (and a guess -- after reading the forum-reviews). But as you confirmed OCCO white, may be a good choice? I guess I was possibly on the right track, of ones that may be compatible? (and thanks so much, as well, Miss Hazel, for all your Phero suggestions, too..and the application tips when using EOW
  18. Hello everyone... As a newbie ~ would appreciate your advice on the following... I previously have some "Pink Sugar" (by Aquolina) perfume on hand ... in your expertise...what are some (pheros or cop-related items) that would be complimentary (or compatible) to wear with it? For example: OCCO pink...or OCCO white...or black, perhaps? LAM pink? or maybe Essence of Woman? Or any other LPMP item-suggestions, that YOU would personally pair with Pink Sugar (for those of you familiar with that brand/scent)? Thanks!
  19. Thanks Luna65! I knew there had to be a section which contained those lists (I just could not locate it)...but with everyone, and your help, that was the exact info & link I needed. Thanks so much, again!
  20. Thanks, Rose, for the reply ... and "have fun exploring"...is exactly what I have been experiencing, since discovering all the amazing products available, and this incredibly informative forum!
  21. Thank you SO much, Hearts & Honeycake!!! That was tremendous help! (didn't realize the way I should be searching for the "unscented" products). So much to learn...so little time!
  22. Hello Everyone... I'm still very new member of the forum...just recently been welcomed by everyone...and have a question. I have been trying to read as much as the forums as possible, to learn as much as I can, before selecting items for my first order (largely based on all your help suggestions and feedback). As I'm still getting used to navigating the forums and different topics, etc. ~ I am not sure if I am looking in the correct place, for some items? For example, some very recent posts (within a day or so possibly) have noted a member saying "I want to order "Bang"...or "Gotcha" with my next order. So I went to the "Perfumerie" category, to view these, to see, as it is popular, what they contained, and if I wanted to add these to my order as well... but noted on the page (no order box...but an "archive of sold out perfumes" notation. (I then also went to the "Permanent List" of items..and could not find the examples either. My question is? Am I looking in the correct place to search for those items, or is there somewhere else I should be looking? Since I am new, I was just confused ... as some (recent posts) said there were going to add an item to their next order ... but all I could find that is was "archived". So am I correct in thinking if it does say "archived" it is no longer available? Or is there another place (in addition to the "Permanent List") that I should be looking to find these items (for purchase)? Again...as I mentioned I'm new here...so thank you for your patience with me ~ and all your help in advance!
  23. Thank you Rose for the welcome ... everyone has been so friendly, warm & welcoming (and helpful with their suggestions with product)... and albeit still very new...so glad I joined the community & forum!
  24. Thanks Calli for the welcome! I am so overwhelmed with all the many incredible choices...I will definitely be starting with alot of the samples to narrow down favorites, as you suggested. Have to say, with everyone listing their favorites? I have seen (like you) that "Cougar Potion" is most definitely a fav among many (so that will definitely be on my list as well!)
  25. Thank you for the warm welcome, Honeycake...and thank you as well, Rachentp, Halo, Raq On & Dolly for all your suggestions. I'm beginning to see consistent favorites, among the forum members, such as Cougar Potion & the OCCO line, as suggestions of good selections to try first ~ so I'll certainly be including those in my initial order! Thanks so much for everyone's help again (and P.S. to: Rachentp...I agree with you... everyone here is so helpful!
