On me, this one starts with a very green note, backed with woods and sweet resin. I don't get the floral that others mention. I find this, not woodsy exactly, because it has a polish and class to it that you wouldn't find in nature, but woody definitely, and green, and sweet without being foody. Upscale were-wolf maybe.

As it dries, the green note mostly melts away, and it's just warm and sweet and sensual. I can see this as being a masculine scent, but I love it on me. I wore it to a Christmas party and when hugged by men got complimented on how good I smelled, so I think this isn't one of those cases where I love the smell of men, and therefore love the scent, but that it actually does work on me.

Veddy nize. I smells delish.

Magic tobacco and bespelled princes? When are we going to get a tantrum potion that smells like green goo?

I'll chime in with, "anything that makes you feel sexy will make you more attractive!" Confidence is HOT!

I get e-mails claiming to be from Bank of America all the time.

A good rule of thumb: Never click the e-mail links. Always go to the site in question by typing in the URL that you always use to do business with that site, or call the customer service number to double check. (Not the customer service number in the e-mail.)

You should do the same thing for phone calls. If someone calls saying they are your bank, or the government, ask what department, and for the name of the person you are talking to. Then say you will call them back. Look up the number for the institution, and call it. If they are legit, you will be able to ask for the person you were talking to, and continue the conversation. (Like with the e-mail, don't take their word for the number to call them back at.)

I have older family members who got caught by the phone thing, gave out account numbers, and lost money. Very sad.

Also, don't believe people on the phone who ask for your bank and routing number, even if they say it's safe because it's on all your checks. They CAN use it to pull money out of your account without permission. A real company won't, because they will be sued, a fake company disappears over night, and faces no consequences.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr. There are bad people in the world, and they make me mad.

I don't need to know anything more once I hear 'fertility' aspects. Intent or not, I can just imagine my little eggies racing out of their ovaries in search of sperm that is not forthcoming... and then somehow cleverly devising a way to gestate into a fetus in the total absence of said sperm.

My favorite dead horse to beat: Fertility is synonymous with creativity in magical terms. It is intent which will make your novel, painting, garden, etc. (rather than your womb) bear the fruit of your creativity.

I'm super curious about this one as well. I was thinking of putting a flying potion inspired scent over in the Designing August sub-forum, and I have my fingers crossed that this is similar to what I was thinking of.

I was excited at the prospect of being known as something cool like "Storm," "Wonder Woman," or "She-Ra." Heck, even "Rainbow Bright" would be cool.

Hey. Yeah I checked my junk mail for stamps.com and I looked under "XP2", just in case. I placed my orders on February 21, 23, and March 9th.

I did receive an order notification on each one though stating that I will get a shipping confirmation as soon as it ships out. I just never got any shipping notification, nor did I receive shipment.

 

It's good to know that I'm not the only one, so the girls are probably just backed up in orders.

If you make lots of orders close together, they might get delayed a little and sent out together. Also, if you have a custom scent, i.e. a special sugared or phero's added to a scent, that could delay your order as well.

I'm pretty sure Cuddle Bunny was one that was specifically mentioned as not being rebrewable. (Not to be a buzz kill or anything.)

In the bottle: I get fresh cut tobacco, not yet dried, and a hint of the honey and dirt, just as a slight sweetener.

On, wet: The fresh tobacco smell is very powerful, as is a kind of burnt sugar smell, which must come from the booze and honey.

Drydown: The tobacco softens and this scent turns really dirty. Not the kind of dirt you grow things in, the sleazy kind of dirt. Honey does that on me anyway, most of the time, but the vetiver and wood take it to an extra level.

There is a subtle sweetness to this one, which keeps this one feminine, but it is definitely a femininity which has embraced the filth of a world mostly filled with men. (As advertised!)

A variety of enchanted ambers, sweet pink sugars, pink citruses, and a touch of pink sparkles and vanilla! Very different from our Sugared Amber, but sexy, dark and deep.

 

VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing.

SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing.

BERRIES ~ Attraction, draws fortunate circumstances in all areas of your life.

AMBER ~ Fertility, love, luck, riches.

AMBERGRIS ~ Increases personal power, heightens sexual responses, dreaming.

In the bottle: berrylicious, with warm amber to round out the dark end.

On, wet: sense memory, this is like a strawberry bubble-bath that I had as a little girl. All the notes blend seamlessly into this warm, strawberry, girly whathaveyou.

Drydown: The amber and ambergris take on their own characteristics, giving this a lovely incense like backdrop. The berry front note takes on an almost rosey quality, and I get thrown from Grade School to High School, as my memory matches this stage of the blend to an incense I loved as a teenager.

This is a very girly scent. I enjoy the balance of empowerment and playfulness this one lends. It's not a scent I thought I would like, but I enjoy it a lot, and it definitely has a place in my scent wardrobe.

Linden and Apple are both ingredients for immortality and preservation of youthful beauty, while Guava is a fruit of Venus and for the preservation of fertility; and it is also said to invoke images and fantasy. The combination of these ingredients is fabled to work like a rejuvenation potion, to invoke a youthful guise.

In the bottle: This is bright and juicy, with a hint of something like pine backing up the fresh fruitiness.

On wet: Kapow! The blend of the flowers with the fruit makes this into a tangy, sweet, white fruit, like white grapes ought to taste but don't. The pine is somewhere in the background, giving this a refreshing zing.

Drydown: The pine note (or whatever is making it smell like pine to me) comes forward, and this is almost exactly how I was imagining a slightly floral, extra feminine Retsina scent.

Eventually the pine wins on me, and the end of this scent is like a dry, aged pinesol, but the first several hours of it, with the bubbly fruit, are fun.

I have to remember not to wear this one to work, it made me feel and act ditzy, which was sadly counterproductive.

You know you can't sneak something like that by us! Ha!

Saw where?

It's about two weeks before stalking time for Valentine scents should start, unless that nap was a lot longer than I though.

I tried Phero Girl and find nothing sexual about it. I find people don't like the way it smells on me. It smells very clean and aquatic on me with a little honey. Not a sweet honey though but a very dry one. I am looking for a sweeter phero blend. I have only tried Phero Girl so far. Im thinking the Super one and Me, Jane.

You may well like Super and Me, Jane better. Also make sure that you shake up Phero Girl before applying, as many of it's richer elements are quite heavy and like to sink to the bottom of bottles/vials.

It appears that oleo is actually a term for oil, coming from the oleic acid which is an unsaturated fatty acid found in many plants and animals; thus the margarine connection. The references I can find to vanilla oleo in FDA documentation actually refer to vanilla oleo-resin or oleoresin, which is a a semi-solid concentration of vanilla flavoring.

I think the message on this one is that it is dramatically different smelling on different people, and therefore probably worth sampling for yourself.

Peanut Butter Dog Hair - creamy, peanuty goodness, with warm, damp dog hair. All the comfort of staying at your Grandmother's house as a child, while your parents went on their annual cruise. Guaranteed to get menfolk agitated.

I Like Viagra: who doesn't - the latest in our, "I Like Viagra" line, this blend is redolent of cheaply made, classic cologne with lots of staying power.

Russian Blondie Big Pe*#s [Peats] - we've taken all of Blondie's favorite notes and crafted them into this jet setting blend, perfect for those cold, communist nights around an Irish peat-moss fire. Brisk, covert, and yummy!

This is one that stays fairly true in all its stages. It has a juicy, rich, red fruity tone to it, but perfectly melded with something else. Something else which could be an alcohol tang, or could be the coppery undertones of blood. Mmm.

The protection aspect of this one apparently trumps the sexiness on me. It's like I have a force field around me today, and people veer off, lower their eyes, and generally avoid confrontation with me. Which is weird, because I think I'm being friendly, open and not particularly Alpha today. Veddy interesting.

Maybe people haven't been shaking their sample vials? For me, this one is very foody.

In the bottle: A grain, almost oat-like, with sticky sweetness, and a hint of something juicy, like wet raisins.

On, wet: vanilla and grains, with bright, juicy currants. Very quickly, the currants take over, and the rest is just a sweet background for them.

Drydown: the currants settle in, and a honey note comes forth, drizzled across the cake which the grains and other sweet things have become.

Not my type of scent. I may be bending more and more on my non-foody stance, but I still don't want to smell like cake.

In the bottle: Watery and green indeed. Fresh and lovely.

On, wet: Whoa! Something warm came through, like hay, or autumn squash. Now this one smells like spikes of sunlight on freshly harvested autumn goods, just after a brief shower. That freshly washed, crispe air, with a little warm richness to it. Yummy.

Drydown: Some kind of watery floral comes through, taking this one back to wet. Whatever that burst of warmth was is still there, under the wet. Wow.

Okay, so you stop at a farm stand, to look over the Autumn bounty, (apples, squash, pumpkin,) there's a breath of dry grasses from over the fields, and a light rain starts, but the sun is still shining through. You know, that perfect rainbow kind of weather. That's what this scent is like for me. Delightful.

In the bottle: Chili powder, with a touch of cumin. Under that, is a sweetness, akin to Everything Nice's brown sugars.

On, wet: The sweet note is almost completely covered by the chili/cumin blend. It shows up periodically as a tantilizing promise of things to come, but most of the time I can't smell it at all. I'm also not picking up any florals at this point. It really is almost all a dry chili powder scent.

Drydown: I'm not sure what that is, some kind of musky skin scent has appeared, strong enough to match the chili, but not overshadow it. It's a dusky skin musk, sweaty, slightly sweet, and ripe with sensuality. If I met someone who smelled like this, I would think of sex, but as I'm alone, sniffing myself, it just smells foreign.

With my pasty whiteness, this scent just doesn't work for me. It doesn't smell like me, and since I don't have the memories of tangling in the bedsheets with a Latin or Indian lover, I don't really need to smell like I have.
