  1. Hello I know this is an old post,but I still dont really understand something.Is it just as potent to use a scented version of something as it is to use the unscented? If I wear Super sexy or scented Super am I getting the same potency of pheremones?I realize the acutual scent might cause a reaction but as far a pheremones whats the difference?

    Okay, one of our phero gurus should answer this, but I'll give it a stab.

    It's my understanding that the potency of the pheros is the same with the scented and the unscented versions. There is a certain level of pheros that Stone Labs recommends as being optimal, (the most you can have before you start getting diminishing returns,) and the ladies follow that proportion of phero to carrier whether the carrier is scented or not.

  2. With new releases, it can take a little longer for them to get out the door. *impatient wiggle* Since the people on the forums are only a small sampling of their full customer base, imagine how many new orders all come in right after a new release.

    (Also, if I'm not mistaken, you said in another thread that you ordered on the 26th, which is the day the label spoilers came out. It was a few days after that when the full descriptions and the web pages were posted, and I imagine they were busy finishing those up, rather than packaging orders.)

    Edit: To get rid of a double "that," which was confusing.

  3. I wanted to note that this blend has aged very prettily. The bright apple note isn't as dominant any more, and a wonderfuly warm pumpkin note has blossomed. Mmm, pumpkin.

  4. Yet again iam waiting for my beautiful babies to arrive. ^_^ I placed a little sample order a few weeks ago and the Semptember sample pack order this past Friday. Iam thinking the ladies will probably put the two orders together and send them out that way because I haven't even gotten a tracking email yet so I guess they havent shipped them yet. ^_^

    Usually, if you order at least a week apart, they won't combine the orders. Sinister Girl did say that they've been having problems with the system not sending out confirmation e-mails. Go over here for instructions and more info.

  5. Those labels are gorgeous!!!

    Lets see how good my memory is...

    Aura Armor is a very wet, bright smell, based on Oakmoss and Heather, with Bamboo, and traces of, Vanilla, Sandalwood, and I think a bit of Amber? (Someone wanted to name it Rain Shine.) It has lots of protective qualities, and a little extra luck.

    First Bite is a delightful foody scent with Currants, Vanilla, Amber, and Chocolate. It definitely has a cakiness to it, but the currants give it a rich, juicy edge.

  6. Well I am new at this ,but I too find myself checking in just to see if they put September out.I think they should start a support group for addicts,or at least some financial counseling for the damage I have been doing to my credit card!

    Hello, rmc. Welcome to the support group for LP addicts. First up on the agenda, how to massage your credit card so you can squeeze out those last few cents. :)

  7. Funny how things work. Pherogirl did not do anything for me at all. My fiance who is not much of the perfume smelling type went out of his way to tell me he doesn't like this one. It smells like watery aquatic notes and flowers with a light honey. The watery note almost gave me a headache.

    When I wear sugared Honeycomb my fiance won't leave me alone and people, including women leer and hit on me. I have classes with all women right now lol. The same with LP Red.

    Did you shake the bottle before applying? Pherogirl is one of the ones that really needs a shake, as most of the rich honey note tends to sink to the bottom. (Also, which brew batch is your Pherogirl from? The first one was lighter, while subsiquent batches had more honey.)

    Then again, the thing that you're reacting badly to, that watery note, might be the pheros. (They usually make me feel sick when I try wearing them, so I don't anymore. I don't like them on my partner either; I guess I'm already bonded to his natural signature.)

  8. I assume you are talking about the phero add in option.

    You go ahead and order all the scents you are going to, including the bottle you want the phero's added to. Then you select the phero you wanted added from the dropdown menu under "Add Pheremones." (It's the one with the unisex symbol in blue on the left.)

    When you go to check out, in the paypal screen, there is a little option which says, "notes." Clicking on that will make an entry box apear. Write in which potion goes with each add in that you have ordered. (You can also follow up by sending an e-mail with your order number to timessquareproductions@yahoo.com, with the same information about add ins and the potions you want them in, just to be sure.)

    ETA: Sniped by Potion Master AND for_love_of_him. Heh. :blushing:

  9. I love sexy, grown, and mature seductive scents. I also love sweets like vanilla, and candy.

    Then you are in the right place! You will find all of the above here. (Especially the vanilla, so many great vanilla based scents here.)

    Do you have any mixes similar to Instant shine for the center of attention?

    I don't know the Instand shine, so one of the long time phero users will have to chime in on this one, but there is a Popularity phero blend. (From the website:Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), alpha-androstenol, androstanone, estratetraenol, THDOC, 17-phenyl-androstenol, epiandrosterone sulfate, sodium equillin sulfate.) This one is unscented, and can be ordered straight up, or as an additive for your favorite scent.

    Also, for all you newbies, remember that the LPMP scents themselves have power because of the ingredients that are used and the way they are blended. Many people get "hits" off LP Original, LP Red, even without adding pheros to the mix. These are potent potions.

  10. <snip> I think I will try the BI if it's not as strong. So do you think I should just order the sample sizes first huh? I saw where you get the 10 vials for $29.95 but is that just for new releases?

    <snip>

    The sample sizes are great for trying a wide variety of scents before you commit to bottles. The sample pack is a monthly sampler, but you can also buy individual samples for $5. (And since you've been active on the forums, you can add two samples for free with any order over $20 -- once each month, as long as you've posted recently!)

    The unscented pheros don't come in sample sizes, but sometimes you can find people on the forums who are selling decants.

    I'll second Dolly's recommendation that you try things outside your normal comfort zone. The thing about LP scents is that they are so different from what big companies make, and they react differently with your skin, so you will probably be happily surprised.

    Lifesgood, welcome! Now you get to do the waiting for your package dance! (You know, the one that goes: three steps toward to mailbox, argue with yourself that you know the post isn't delivered for four more hours, walk the rest of the way out to check just in case, go back in, and repeat in ten minutes.)

  11. Hmm.

    I forget where I saw the study, but I once read that the strength and viability of a man's sperm increases if another man is present at the time of ejaculation. I wonder if a s"perm" scent could work in a similar way, to help increase chances of getting pregnant and/or the heartiness of a foetus created while one or bother partners were wearing it.

    Lioness

    Since the beginning of time women have been admired for their beauty and strength. Lioness captures the heart of those scents which represent but dare not compete with the true essence of the Female.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Magickal Meanings of Ingredients:
    CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships, Goddess energy.
    DATE ~ Improves male virility and sexual prowess.
    HONEY ~ Enticing, seductive, use to bewitch a straying or hesitant lover, happiness, fulfillment.
    MYRRH ~ Stimulating, soothing, powerful guard against evil.
    SPIKENARD ~ Luck, fidelity, health, attraction, calming, focus, intellect, mental clarity.
    HYSSOP ~ Purification, protection, deflection of negativity.
    ORANGE ~ Strong "magnet" to attract men, eternal love, marriage, fruitfulness, thoughtfulness, happiness, tribute.
    MUSK ~ Self-confidence and strength, sexual attractant, heightens passions and arousal.
    TOBACCO ~ Healing, purification, spiritualism.
    WOODS ~ Sensual atmospheric, courage, protection.
    AMBER ~ Fertility, love, luck, riches.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Dates and cream are blended together while honey and myrrh are held gently within its grasp. Spikenards regal scent stands on its own as hints of woods and tobacco smoke linger. The fiery presence of hyssop gives warmth to sweet oranges and musk…the scent of a strong woman who stands apart from all others.

    I don't want to review this one because then everyone will know how amazing this is. (Besides, my words could never capture it.)

    In the bottle: Spicey, rich, exotic. The myrrh is the only note I can separate enough to identify, and even that is tempered by the other ingredients and made infinitely complex.

    On, wet: There is a sweet tanginess which must come from the oranges, though there is nothing which says, "citrus" in this blend. The spicey richness remains, though under it, right against the skin, the cream and honey slips like silk.

    Drydown: The creamy base of this lasts a long time, with the ghosts of the rich, bold spices still etched across it.

    I hoped so much for this scent, and it surpassed my wildest imaginings. I would say that it is incredibly feminine, because of the warm honey/cream/date mix that keeps it warm and nurturing, but I could see a man pulling this one off as well. I haven't smelled spiciness like this before, with no clove or pepper or indead anything I normally think of as spice. It is heat, and raw, animalistic appeal all wrapped up with just a hint of nurturing instinct before bottling.

    Oh, how I need a bottle of this one.

  13. In the bottle: a bright and complex citrus. Limes, and somehting else, with an edge of floral that simultaneously sweetens and sharpens.

    On, wet: Like tangy candy, with something duskier just beyond the edges of the senses.

    Drydown: Evening lit flowers eventually soften the citrus, just enough, and the musk breaths a sultry longing into this scent.

    I love the way this scent follows the pattern of a late summer day, starting with citrus brightness, and ending with a languid, sultry memory.

  14. hey when u guys apply both, do u just put one on and then put the other on top of it to apply?... or would u apply them at different spots?

    confuzzled :(

    <3

    Different people do it different ways.

    Since I apply near my inner elbow, when I want layer I aply one to each side of the "bend" and then fold my arm to smoosh them together. I also put some in my cleavage, so I usually pick one scent to slip down the cleft, and run the other one in radiating lines out from there. That way, I never contaminate my bottles, and I don't have to go find clean or disposable applicators. (I am teh lazy.)

    Ideas for disposable applicators:

    swizzle sticks

    coffee stirrers

    q-tips with no fuzz on one end

    etc.

    Reusable and washable:

    glass coctail stirrers

    extra wands from empty sample vials

    etc.

    Some people also decant scents together into other bottles/vials.

  15. There's desire in the air…and it's as delicious as an apple chai sure to warm when the weather turns brisk. Be tempted by our spicy apple and berry blend kissed with mouth-watering honey and sugar…surrender to sweet and steamy Autumn Lust!

    In the bottle: I get fresh, crisp apples, a sign that summer is at an end and the heat is finally breaking.

    On, wet: The apples stay crisp, but the cardamom and other spices are more apparent. It's not the smell of apple pie fresh from the oven, but the smell of apple pie about to go in the oven; the apples still crisp and tart, with spices and sugar sprinkled over them. There's even a little bit of something like pie crust in the background, though that could be my sense memory fooling me.

    Drydown: An almost buttery honey note comes through, blending perfectly with the apples, which have now stepped back a bit. The cardamom is still the most dominant spice note, which keeps this from becoming a cliched, cinnamon apple combo. This is a much more lively spiced apple than Liberty Belle, redolent of deep blue skies over leaves just starting to turn, and hayrides with fresh cider waiting to refresh you at the end. Mmmmm.
