I remember thinking, " who the hell needs somewhere that offers 10+ new kinds of perfume a month??"
Then I got my first order.

It's addictive for sure...I just placed my second order! I meant to wait a full month, for decency's sake, but I just couldn't last that long, haha!

I had a perfume oil boosted with BB and thought I'd share my experience here, though it was not the unscented version, hope that's ok!

I'm having a hard time finding my sweet spot with this one. I have used it 4 times now, each time adding a leeeetle bit more...right now I've worked up to the point of a swipe to decolletage, to each inner elbow, and to the sides of my neck. I find that at this amount it does not stop me from getting irritable or snappish during PMS, but I calm down again a lot quicker (I'm usually the "dwell on and seethe over it" type when something irritates me). I'm able to brush it off and move on a lot faster, which is an improvement, but I'm wondering if I need to apply more or to different places to see if it can keep me a little calmer from the onset, or if this one just doesn't work like that for me? Any thoughts?

I was extremely fortunate to snag a bottle of this from the sale. I had it boosted with Balm Bomb, as I tend to gravitate to lavender scents when stressed. It's absolutely amazing! I love lavender and this is just such a beautiful lavender scent. Yet it is not a screaming-in-your-face "lav you!" kind of scent, at least not on my skin (I've had that kind before from "other" places ) It's soft and beautiful, like a purr in a bottle.

 

Oh, yes, I have Rosemary .Rosemary in it's natural state actually smells nothing like the essential oil, which is almost all camphor with a hint of green. I only have it in EO form, which makes it very fragile and burns off quickly. The primary quality of it is the camphor, which dissipates in the air very fast. It's good for medicinal and magickal properties, but does not make for a very hearty perfume note, I'm afraid.

Awww darn! Thank you for explaining that for me though, I had no idea the essential oil is so different from the plant! Though I probably should have guessed it, I'm pretty sure rosemary oil is one of the ingredients in the baby version of Vicks vapor rub. I always wondered why I couldn't really tell it was in there!

 

I can do almost anything people want. I do have the ingredients to make a Sug Basil - if you would like it, order it, and I shall make it for you!

 

BTW - Sweet Dill is another note that is quite beautiful if you like herbals. Tarragon is lovely too.

Do you have Rosemary?? That is one of my favorite scents in the world but I've never seen it as a perfume oil. I'd feel so guilty to order it though when you're making a bazillion of these already but it'd be nice to know for the future, maybe for a PE

I've never tried your wax melts, I'd like to remedy that though

I would love to see a honeyed apple scent if you have one...because you do honey so beautifully and I love apple scents in the fall!

I want Warm Milk and Sugar just for the label. You ought to have put that one on something silly, Mara (like "Sugared School Paste") just to see how many people would still buy it. (I think it still would have made the top 10, that is one gorgeous kitteh!)

LOL @ Beach Goddess...LAM spamming!! I hope you do find a worthy partner soonest, LAM is fun for everyone! (Hey, that could be a jingle! ) I understand how you feel though, I feel like I've been spamming everyone I know about Sugared Honeycomb, which I also ordered...except my mother because I'd die a thousand deaths if she read the description comparing it to "female musk" and "smelling like sex" (she did not even try to give me the sex talk until an hour before my wedding...I should have won an Oscar for being able to keep a straight face through that one ) It is taking me so long to try out my whole order because I never want to take it off! (I know I can layer it, but I also do my first test drive of a scent wearing only that scent so I can make an honest assessment of it, it's just how I roll!)

Who said any were low? I am brewing according to demand, and still in the process of getting through the list!

 

Anyone wanna guess which ones are the most requested?

My guess is Pure Sugar, Vanilla, Birthday Cake, and the fruit ones.

Thank you all again for the advice! Phero wise, I went with LAM and trial vials of OCCO White, Compromising Positions, Beth's Blushing Milkmaid (which is cops only) and Sneaky Clean (just to have something a little different in tone from the rest). You all have steered me true! I haven't tried the OCCO or Compromising Positions yet, because the LAM and BBM have been smashing successes (not at the same time, of course!!) I will have to report back when I get around to the others. LAM is so much fun. It is not aggressive the way I was thinking, but more "playful." A lot of laughter Impossible not to like that one!

Now, I preface the following with a disclaimer that I am not trying to say sex is some kind of a band-aid for any issues that may be in a relationship. So please don't misunderstand me. But when it's just a matter of synchronizing drives a little better, things are otherwise good...OMG, what a difference some more lovin' makes! Life is so much more pleasant all around. We're both in a better mood in general. The little things are rolling off both of us easier. The past week has been so upbeat, even though all the stresses of daily life and work and family have been exactly the same. It's so good for a relationship when all aspects of it are doing well! I didn't realize how much tension this "one little thing" was causing. And now it's no big deal. Just like that! It sounds so melodramatic but I'll say it anyway, I feel like finding LPMP has changed my life in a good way. I'm so thankful for this place and Mara's amazing talents!! Thanks so much for helping me out. I was so overwhelmed trying to figure out what to try first. LAM wasn't even on the list I first came up with on my own! (Sounds unthinkable now! )

 

Thanks Memorare! I thought BBM was just a fragrance? Was that with a phero added to it? If so, which phero?

It has cops in it by default (meaning you don't have to have it boosted) but I honestly couldn't smell them at ALL even hours later, so definitely beginner friendly.

That's an interesting experience ! My hubby says it makes him think of me "barefoot in the kitchen" (not pregnant) and he does give me a lot of attention as well. As I don't get any selfies from it on its own, it's kinda fun but wasted effort on his part..unless I add androstenol to the mix then I'm good to go as well. Fascinating stuff.

Yeah the level of attention really floored me, I was not expecting that kind of response from the phero description (BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING!) Do you mean androstenol like what's in LAM? Sorry, I'm still sorting out what's what!

I generally recommend getting Uns because I don't like being restricted by scent..BUT you might get the bottle of Sneaky because of how little you wore to get that response. Might not be as effective for you in the stronger dose. If you get something boosted you might want to get it split between two bottles too.

Oh good point, thank you!! I hadn't thought of that! This whole "less can be more" thing is kind of alien to my usual way of thinking.

Anyway my issues aside...I tried out my sample of Sneaky Clean a couple of days ago and just had to share. Bearing in mind that I am completely new to pheros, and this was my first time wearing something like this out of the house. I put it on hoping to get some kind of "confident and sexy" self effect, because I was expecting a want-to-hide-in-my-bed kind of day because of an uncomfortable appointment. I didn't put on much and doubted I'd get any reaction from anyone else.

Well, I got no self effects at all, which was a little bit of a bummer. And at first, I didn't think I was getting anything from anyone else, either (which I was expecting, so didn't really mind.) I had the appointment about an hour after I applied, and it went fine, nothing unusual. I started thinking this stuff just doesn't do anything on me.

Then afterward, things got weird. Really weird. My honey was home because he had the day off from work, and suddenly he decides to take me for a Victoria's Secret shopping spree at the mall, over an hour away. Now I have been complaining for a couple of months that I need to replace my bras, but all of a sudden, the man who usually expects me to buy them at Walmart wants me to take his credit card to VS?? Because I'm not an idiot, what I said was "um okay honey!" What I was thinking was "WTF?????" Possibly he was abducted by aliens and replaced by a clone. I decided not to think too hard about it until after I'd been shopping.

So we went to VS, and I picked out some nice bras and go to check out. Then he came up behind me with an armload of nighties in my favorite colors, "we'll take these too"

Despite the fact that I'd just finished swiping the credit card, the cashier was very pleasant about it. I was holding up the line as he suddenly decided I need matching robes for the nighties, and no one said a word about it. I apologized to the cashier and she's all "Noooo don't be sorry." Everybody is all smiles. She said "oh you get a gift with purchase" (it was a travel mug) "well I'm only supposed to give you one...but here have 2." Folks, this never happens to me. Ever. Usually if there is a gift with purchase and I don't know about it and ask for it, I don't get it, never mind TWO of whatever it is. And the matching robes thing?? I don't even know where to start with that one.

Then instead of wanting to go straight home (as usually would be the case, once the Mission is Accomplished) he wanted to stroll around the mall with me.

Then we went home and I made dinner as usual...the shopping trip had taken most of the day with the aimless wandering included...by this time I was feeling really tired and yawning all over the place, so he suggested I go lay down for a little while while he cleared up (we are now officially in "Fallen Down the Rabbit Hole" status). So I did. Because I was just rolling with it at this point. I was thinking if a unicorn popped up in our backyard, I'd just be like, "meh, you should have seen what happened at the mall!"

Then I got woken up with happy sexy fun times.

So that was my SS4W experience. I have to say it wasn't what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't a bad thing in this case! I didn't notice any hits from anyone but my honey (and possibly the very nice lady cashier) but I wasn't really paying attention to anyone else either. While it didn't give me any self effects, I have to say I ended up in a good mood anyway This is definitely making my full bottle list, now just wondering if I should get it unscented (so I can layer with other scents) or in Sneaky Clean again (because I really, really love the scent!)

(And this does apply to more than just that scent so I probably should have just asked over here in the first place...)

The longevity of this one was pretty good, too. I could still smell a little vanilla on my skin after wearing overnight, but it wasn't enough that I couldn't easily cover it with another scent if I wanted. That actually leaves me with a question I hope one of you pros can answer- how long do the cops hang out on the skin? I mean, if I'm wearing them in a scented blend like this and can still smell the perfume, does this mean I'd still be broadcasting "cops vibes"? I ended up washing it off this morning because I didn't want to give that impression if I have to go out and wasn't sure if it was still effective or not

 

Just to clarify since the rest of the post isn't right here to refer to, I never smelled the cops in BBM in the first place, which is why I have no idea if I still had cops signals going on or not.

OMG, I can't even believe it but I just got my first LPMP package!!

I have seriously NEVER seen such a speedy TAT from a company during a sale, EVER. I mean that was pretty darn zippy even if there hadn't been a sale going on, and I'm on the opposite coast! Thank you so so much, Mara! Everything made it in tip-top shape and the bag is so pretty! I can't wait to try everything. I cracked open Sugared Honeycomb lickety-split and put just a teeny dab on the inside of one wrist, I just couldn't wait. OH WOW IT'S GORGEOUS! And I keep wafts of sweetness just sitting here from that teeny little dab. I'm so used to having to slather myself in perfume oils to even be able to smell it an hour later that I am just gobsmacked at what one little drop of your perfume can do! After reading so many glowing reviews of your scents before I ordered, I was nervous that the reality wouldn't live up to the hype, but it turned out to be the reverse! Thank you again, you made my day.

 

I'm sure there will be plenty--Mara mentioned a while back there would be ample amounts of these.

I believe they will be a part of the permanent collection as long as she can create them because they are - like the OCCO/NoCo scents - simple recipes to make.

Hi & welcome Fatale & androstenol, from a fellow forum newbie This place is addictive and everyone is so wonderful and friendly. It's a lot of fun!

I joined in June but only just now figured out the password situation and BAM ! it's sale time and oh my goodness...I reserved my first bottles, just moments ago finished placing the largest order of my life. That's quite the introduction to the forum.

Ok, I placed my very first ever order!! I know ordering FBs unsniffed is a risky business, but after obsessively reading reviews much careful research I feel quite comfortable with that And I think the ones I chose will be relatively easy to trade away in the event that they don't work out for me. So it's all good. I want to thank everybody for posting their wonderful reviews and for all the advice and encouragement! This is such a welcoming place and I've had a great time just in the short time I've been posting here. I hope to add my own reviews when I get my order!

Salute is going to be a birthday gift for my honey. His birthday is in mid Sept so just hoping it makes it in time! He is pretty easy to please scent-wise and he is in the military so it sounded just perfect! He's been listening to me go on and on about pheros and he's intrigued but skeptical so I thought he'd enjoy trying them out (in a safe-for-work way, I mean LOL!)

It's killing me not ordering any of the Sugareds but...I really need to rein it in a little! Of course, if the Balm Bomb does manage to tame the Raging B!tch Queen I turn into at PMS time, my husband will likely be throwing money at me to spend here in the future
