  1. All I smell in this is earth, earth, earth. Any suggestions for layering to balance it out? Because I can't stand wearing it and it's a shame, I don't want to let it go to waste, I love Cougar too much.

I layer it with Egg, or anything creamy and white. Something along the lines of Sneaky Clean works well (obviously non phero-ed). Put the two scents next to each other instead if on top of each other.

  2. Holy Crawdads!!! I know this one is old news to the rest of yall, but I just got it in a trade and THATS WHAT IM TALKIN BOUT!! Wowwee, this odd combo is freakishly delicious! It's soooo good. So INTENSE, and interesting! I never would have thought to pair these notes, but damn. I love how it's gourmand, but to me it's not foodie. That salt and that gorgeous intense tea like lavender give it a clean shine while being gooey and drippy and edible at the same time. Perfumely Perfect gourmet goodness. It's pretty straightforward, there's not a whole lot more to say except that the throw and tenacity are also wonderful, I can smell this on myself for hours, and can still smell it on my skin after having it on all night.

Oh and it IS sexy. Makes me feel all hot and bothered even whilst covered in baby drool in a shirt that's too big for me. Good stuff man. I love this one! Thanks for the trade Bruiseviolet!! I think I love you! :D

Thus sounds delicious! Not a review, bit I've read about it so many times, it almost has a legendary vibe to it. One day I might find it on the trade pages. Thanks for sharing this awesome review! I'm not into foodie scents, but this I might love!

  3. Empathy Potion has been a bit too much for me, as in too in my personal space, but I like Heart and Soul. No experience with Synchronicity.

So, I'd go with H&S. But if you can handle Empathy potion and you've had good responses from others from it, I'd say go for it. I usually feel overwhelmed and drained when wearing Empathy Potion. Almost like I'm taking on other people's emotional baggage, in some way. I guess I need to learn to protect myself before wearing it again.

I look forward to reading other members' suggestions.

  4. Phergineer hope when you get the chance you'll review Aphrodites Belt a little more sounds fascinating. I'm gonna give a quick thumbs up here for Raspberry Roon luckily it died down overnight from an obnoxious plastic raspberry to a delicious vanilla/cream raspberry dessert, so mmmm. Lurve all 4 PE's purchased.

Yes, I don't see a thread started for it yet, so I guess if it's appropriate maybe I can start one?...

Mara, I know my reserved PE does not count towards the sale that starts this weekend, but can I ask for a combined invoice next week to reduce PayPal fees, understanding that the $25 for 6 of Cups need to be subtracted from the total needed to reach the freebie levels? Or do you just want me to pay for it separately? Thanks!

  5. This is fresh strawberry cream on my skin, and the first artisan scent to get a positive reaction out of my husband! He even said "I can eat you!". It doesn't last long on my skin unfortunately, but I don't mind slathering.

Probably my favorite of this month's PE's and I'm not usually a foodie person. I'm getting another bottle!

  6. I picked up my package from the PO today and I love every single PE.

Summer Shine lasts the longest on me.

Aphrodite's Belt is nothing like I expected, but totally a me scent, so feminine and elegant.

Hawaiian Cake is very similar, to my nose at least to LP Summer Solstice after half an hour.

If I could buy 2-3 more Six of Cups I would. Mr. Phergineer has never had such a positive reaction to an artisan scent before, he said "I could eat you!". Hehe.

I'm so happy that none of the coconut or cream notes go wonky on my skin, that was my biggest fear!

  7. I don't think imprinting equals "infatuation" type feelings. You can imprint on someone with feelings of respect, for example. And I don't think imprinting is as "star struck" as fallout. It builds over a period of time of being exposed to the same phero blend. Fallout happens the first time.

but this is just my understanding of the Two... again, I'm not an expert. Maybe you can do a search on the Web yourself and see if you can come up with better definitions. If you do, please share :)

  8. I thought your choices were great -- how did it go?

I ended up wearing LFM with a bit of Topper, and it was perfect. In this case I didn't have to talk much, I just had to be a noticeable, positive presence for Mr. Phergineer. I had him sit right next to the CEO, and it worked beautifully. I mostly smiled, answered questions if asked, acted very polished. I think I fit the blend. :)

  9. What is fallout?

I am certainly not an authority on the definition of fallout, but I've seen it referred to as when people exhibit "infatuation"-like behavior when exposed to a phero blend in the presence of the wearer, and that continues to affect them even after they are no longer exposed. Basically its a strong hit and they look forward to seeing you again. I've mostly read of men using blends to create the fallout effect, and when doing so they tend to resort to Androstadienone.

The key thing here is that the exposed people are affected even after they are no longer in your presence. It sounds to me like bonding molecules would be the answer, but I have yet to experience the effect I inquire about.

  10. At first it was very green and grassy on my skin. It then mellows out to a soft scent, where I can pick out some green tea and amber. I think if you enjoy the Wolf And The Shepherdess, you'd enjoy this too. This one does not have any of the "white" notes though.
