When I first tried this, right out of the box, it smelled like sweet candied flowers after dry down, but I also had quite a few other scents I was trying on at the time.
So yesterday I tried it again. When wet, I get syrupy cherry and dark chocolate. As it dries down, the cherry note goes in the background and everything blends together nicely in a sweet syrupy scent, which hints of chocolate and a tiny bit of cherry. Beautiful, but I am not sure it's a me scent yet.

I am very sorry I have not commented since I created this post..last Monday (the day of) one of my childhood schoolmates passed away suddenly and I am having a hard time with that..it has also brought back many memories of my brother's passing in 2000 (he was 26-from a car accident)..my dad isn't doing well now...with everything I am feeling very overwhelmed...I thank you all for your comments and thank you, Mara, for my beautiful PE...I haven't tried it again or even any of the NR sampler I got yet...I promise to respond as soon as things are better and I have had a chance to test...

I have to agree with Phergineer. As an introvert, Gotcha does not have any disinhibiting effect on me at all. I like it for other uses, but not that. I haven't found anything yet which really disinhibits me, but have so far steered clear of things like BI, Sexpionage and Dom, which might help with that a bit perhaps. My one experiment with Audacious so far did have me feeling a bit more socially confident, but I certainly didn't become extroverted or anything.

 

I truly do believe that the more intensely introverted a person is the harder it is for the pheros to really "disinhibit" in any way, because you have a greater wall of protection around yourself to start with.

 

As for TMI, I can honestly say that neither TMI or True Confessions has ever made me spill the beans- and I've slathered and snuffled and snorted like a truffle pig. I believe it's that introvert effect at work again. I'd love to hear if you find the same.

Audacious has not turned me into an extrovert by any means, but it has made me more comfortable in social settings, which is a plus. I can actually chit-chat and have very limited nonsense conversations for short amounts of time when wearing it. While I have come to terms that no phero is ever going to turn me into the life of the party, for an introvert, I'd say audacious a winner!

 

As for TMI - good to know! I was wondering why I didn't feel any self effects when I tried it, despite using 5-6 drops. No desire to be more chatty or share more by any means. If anything, Audacious makes me more chatty, but not in an intimate connection/sharing way, just at a very superficial level.

NOPE!! Not for me!

I just have to accept I hate black musk. It was overwhelming wet. After Drydown it did calm down but it kept hovering over the ebil-ish vanilla musk like a dementor.

It got vaguely fruity later on. Very Dark purplish, like a prune.

Is it the black musk that makes it smell like incense? Because on my first attempt, that's what I got... At first, clean soap (probably the neroli) followed by a dark incense scent. Please tell me red musk doesn't have the same effect...

I will give the Eve of Darkness another try, but for now, I can't imagine anyone smelling me think I smell sexy... Like a clean New Age shop - maybe.

IDK. I love Gotcha but not all the time. I can see with what you describe, how it may not have the effect you're looking for. But I'm not sure TMI would be much better because of the high B'nol content. B'nol, while I does make one chatty, it can have the deep introspective effect. I remember someone saying once, it's my deep thoughts & poetry writing phero. I know I have experienced that as well.

I'd say Heart &Soul (you're getting your B'nol there but it's balanced by the other pheros to move it in more specifically social direction.

TH with an added dash of Topper or Lace. OW or Levitation. And have you tried Cougar? I think you're right to try Audacious (super fun!!)

Oh, I only meant to try and build tolerance to TMI so i wouldn't be affected by it as much when in the presence of other people, I wasn't referring to it as a "make me more open/social" phero. I would not want to spill my beans, that's all.

Not a package, but I sent several cards a few weeks ago to Europe... within days of each other, some I sent in early January.

Some made it to Europe in a week, others sent in early December made it after the ones I sent in January (5 weeks!)... And this happens any time of the year, not just during holiday season.

I really think that every phero affects every person differently. I wish Gotcha! were acting as a dis-inhibitor on me - I am an introvert and have been looking for a phero to help me be more open and outgoing. I can tell you that Gotcha! is not the one for me, but Audacious is.

 

I've only worn Gotcha! 3-4 times, both in date settings and group settings and no times did it make me more outgoing or dis-inhibited.

 

However, the tolerance building, I wonder if that would work with TMI...

ETA: This is MONUMENTAL! I am making an order that is MOSTLY for man beast! We have broken through the LP barrier! Squeeeee!

Mine broke through the LP Barrier as soon as my first package with LP #9 came in... however, that's with male scents... I have yet to completely break him in on the lady scents side. This has been such a up/down journey with him The other day he scolded me for taking the SWS bottle to work with me! Apparently I left him exposed.

I just wanted to add this lasts a long time!!! It's been almost 7 hours and I can still smell it! While it touched my clothes it smells like when I first applied it, almost more cozy and soft, vanilla-like - I love it!

to say "where" it touched my clothes, not "while".

Is it bad that I already want to know what the next month NR will be and when I should be expecting them?

Well... I have a good reason, I need to pay for the Lusty Cherry, and I think it might be better if I combine it with the next month NR!

But, if I lose my reserved bottle if I wait too long, I'll just have to pull the trigger.

I am wearing this today. Within minutes of application it smells like sweet grass and woods, with a touch of something soft and vanilla-like in the background. After a couple of hours it morphs and I get mostly smoke and woods, reminding me of to Ashes to Dust III. I wish it stayed closer to the way it smells in the begging of the application, but it's still a beautiful scent.

That sounds great Can't wait to get the PE's.

Ahhh yes.. I know what it is and like a couple of other odd smelling fragrances, it works absolute alchemy when added to perfumes. I have Rapturous Reverie, and love it for ritual use. When I first sniffed its smoky essence, I swore to myself that there was something familiar beneath its other ingredients and I thought it might be that particular ingredient. I also picked up on something..almost wet and animalic in A Taste for Luxury AND Silk and Fur. Please tell me Potion Master? Was I right?

I'm curious to know if a Taste for Luxury has it too. If so, then it would explain my love for the scent even more!

Red musk doesn't play nice on me either :'(

Have you tried the Sugared one? That's not very encouraging

 

Tyvey, have you tried Sugared Red Musk? On an interesting note, I just went back and noticed I have done the only review for Sugared Black Musk.

QG, your reviews of Black and Red musk on the Sugared layerables sub forum are the ones that made me consider Sugared Red Musk in my next order. I'm looking for a sexy scent that my man will like too (on me)... and honey has not gone well in most cases so far.

Has Mrs. QG agreed to try any of these 2 on for you?

In the meantime I will wait for a sample of Eve of Darkness and see how it goes. I am willing to be open minded and give it a really good try!

What's very interesting to me is that the jasmine in this is blended in a way that I cannot pick it out, and it just blends with the rest of the "white" soft notes. On the other hand, in To Soothe a Broken Heart 2015, it smells really weird on my skin, almost as if I just walked into a horse stable That scent made me want to write off jasmine, and then I realized it was also in this! I was warned not to write off notes by themselves in other threads, but now I've learned it on my own skin, literally!

I wore this one again today. Slathered! The first half an hour the leather is forefront, but then it mellows out and the scent is just gorgeous! I wish I got another bottle!

I paired it with SWS, I wore black and white with a touch of hot pink, and my first meeting today went really well, with a not so nice man!

I got a sniffle of this and loved it. I didn't even know there were cake/foody notes in it until I looked it up! On me it smells like sweet, buttery flowers. Not sharp at all. I love it!!!

To me this one smells in between Totem Bat and Coquette. I get green grass and earth, but also some fruit and maybe a touch of a floral scent in the background. Coquette was way too grassy on my skin, but this might work quite well. I will have to retest in a week when the travel shock and my monthly guest have passed.

Birks- are you maybe close to your cycle? I would retest every week. When I had a cycle, my usual foodie favorites made me want to throw up. I could only wear man scent. Kinda like I had to amp my test - alpha male sig so others wouldn't know I was a bleeding pie hole.

Well I sure hope this doesn't go all weird when my cycle is over, because I tested right out of the box and right in the middle of being a "bleeding pie hole"!
