  1. I thought for sure I had reviewed this...at first, it's a bit loud. But after about 15 minutes, it is just a fabulous creamy honeysuckle, with a bit of musk. I get a bit of the butterscotch, just at the beginning. I love this one!

In the vial i smelled a very musky caramel (which reminded me of my dog after a bath for some reason, a good memory)

surprisingly enough its BAM FLORAL on the skin. Ive never smelled any of the flowers except the honeysuckle until today :o

the musk is really coming out as the second dominant but its so finely enmeshed with the flowers that it has that almost "daydreamy" feel to it. I dont get any nom from this, kinda mixed feelings about that buuuuut theres a definite 'sweet nectar' cloud around the application site which actually rings true to the name.

After some time passes, the musk gets kinda loud

some of the floral are in hiding, im left with this musk-forward (unsweetened?) creamy-ish honeysuckle.

When i seen "creamy" in the reviews i was expecting of the nommable variety---- but it has this fancy-lotion-and-powder-puff vibe to me. This and lace were definitely made for each other

OMG, Anon - love the new avi - is that your puppy?

  2. Lol Betkeys :)

I know they are not available on the mobile version, but up until a couple of weeks ago I had them on the full version and on my Kindle. They just vanished. I'll definitely look into the browser issue.

Molls said the emojis vanished of her Kindle too, as I remember.

    Stacy!! I found the emojis!

At the bottom of my Kindle screen (I have the Kindle Fire HDX) there is a little "button".. it looks kind of like a square with 3 horizontal lines on it. I touched it and it has several options, one of which is Request Another View. Press that, then choose Desktop. Mine had switched back to Automatic after the last Kindle update, I think.

  3. There are so many variables involved, I don't know that you can actually say that there is a specific "formula" that will work for everybody. I think that anyone who tells you "use this much to get this result" is either generalizing or naive.. (I want to say "BSing" but I don't want to make assumptions).

From the actual experiences that I have read on this forum over the last 4 years or so, the amount necessary to get a reaction can vary widely. And reactions aren't magic, of course.. a phero is not going to make someone do something that they aren't willing to do, it may give them a little "push" though. I know some people who really slather to get an effect, and some who just barely dab, and their results are just as good. It depends on you, your body chemistry, the "vibe"/effort you're putting out to get that effect, and of course the target audience's many variables.

As far as application, when I am using a sample vial, I apply like QG, with the little wand applicator. I swipe it along my wrists, the inside of my elbows, my collarbone, cleavage.. dipping it back in the vial each time. That is usually plenty to give enough scent, and I have found that, for me, with the phero enhanced scents, the amount of phero that Mara puts in is perfect for applying in that fashion. The scent gives me a guide to keep me from over or under applying. If that amount doesn't work for you, then I would do as Dolly suggests and add some UN scented of the same phero.

Just put some on and get out there... experiment and then report back :)

  4. Mara says: "A conglomeration of the type of vanillas I use when I want a "non-foody" vanilla... vanilla warmth, without the foody-ness. A more perfumey vanilla, that blends well with almost any other perfumey note. This is the elegant side of vanilla. I blended this with complementary sugars - white and powdered."

Yes. Very elegant, almost soft and powdery. Not overpowering at all. More like "I just smell this awesome naturally.." I think this would go well with a lot of the other scents, especially when you want to come across as more polished and put-together.

  5. So, Mara says: "Four white musk oils from around the globe, combined with four cotton candy type pinky sugars to form a perfect sweet pink musk"

On me, this feels closer to Amanda's Sweet Pink Flowers than the other Pink Musk. The pink sugars here are berry-like and tart. ASPF had a biting note that was hard for me to handle, but the drydown was FABULOUS. This is like that, but without the harsh note that made my nose twitch. As it settles, the pinky-ness mellows and the musk gently shines.. love it!

  6. I was not a fan of LP Pink at first. It just had a weird smell, and didn't seem appealing at all. A couple of years went by and I wanted to try it again. It still smelled weird to me. Not sweet, not even very pink. Kind of dry and flat. But this time, I wore it in front of people. OMG. Everyone, but ESPECIALLY men, LOVE this on me! I never fail to get compliments when I wear it.

I wore it again last night, and my b/f would NOT stop huffing my neck, lol.

  7. Okay, call me liar-liar, pants-on-fire, I busted my sample out this weekend, and it's freakin' glorious!!! My sample has been aging for over a year, and now everything blends so perfectly together, I have worn it two days in a row, I cannot get enough! I don't know what made me reach for this, but I'm so glad I did. The honeycomb-civet-brown sugar that ganged up on me and mugged my nose last time have gone to rehab and charm school, wow, they are soooo smooth and classy blending with the perfect dark resins and drool-worthy dark, intoxicating, vanilla bean extract. I never thought anything with this combo of ingredients would ever smell great on me, but it does! Could be that it's a great time of month for me, I might try this two weeks to see if I feel the same way (fingers crossed!) If so, a FB will be gracing my collection.

    I love that, lol

LP Black took awhile to lure me in too - but now I have two bottles of it!

  8. Has anyone requested coffee-based ones yet? Like coffee/cinnamon, coffee/vanilla, etc. I'd love that for fall/winter with a "happy" phero!

Any chance of something like Lina's Autumn Leaves? OMG would that be fab!

Yes!! Also I'm seconding the lavender/purple puff/big easy type of scents..

  9. Amalthea's Alphabet got me to try this one again last night.. Wow!! We went mini golfing, which was fun. Came back to his house and he poured us some wine, and we were going to watch a movie. Before we even had a sip, he had me up against the wall in the kitchen!! Let's just say I didn't get a lot of sleep last night... ;)
