Tantalizing TJ
I think TJ is a forum member, but has rarely posted. Her blend consists of dry, warm vanillas, not foody, with white patchouli and white amber in the base, and a few drops of Bergamot EO on top. The bergamot is very light and fleeting, the blend as a whole is on the sexy sophisticated side. This is a recipe that is reminiscent of commercial perfumes...dry, wispy and elegant.

As a concept, I really like this. The earth note is very strong, but eventually it mellows out. Then it's mostly fruit and woods, with a bit of green, I wonder if that's the vetiver...
-
My number 1 BPAL is a red musk/rose scent, so I was fairly sure I'd like this. This is really pretty. I was worried about the cabernet and the woods, but they don't overpower it. I think this is definitely a Grown Up Woman scent, and I'll enjoy wearing it.

Me too, tyvey... it's very camphorous on me, like the lavender in Tickle, Tickle for at least 30-45 mins. After that, it's a soft, sweet cream kind of scent. It lasts awhile on me, but it wears close to the skin. I don't really smell the pinkness at all, or any lavender after the initial blast.

I've tried this a couple times during the raging tide (since that's one of the primary uses for it) and it's like taking my emotions to the dry cleaners: they come back fluffy and unwrinkled.
It sort of distances me from the stress - I can still perceive it, but it's not in the forefront of my brain. Personally I don't care how this affects others, because it's all about me attempting to subdue the PMS monster, but if you do wear it UN I'll say it's a bit stinky so you might want to use a strong cover. I don't get a "crash" from it myself, though.
I like this for daytime, while still using Teddy BB for nighttime.
This is why I'm trying this out today... Yesterday was a super horrible/hormonal day for me. Hoping today will be better!

oh hell. I'm intoxicated. Put me down for one, lol

(from the description:) a loving passionate heart of tulip and hibiscus blossoms, with just a touch of irresistible white lotus, encircled by sweet leafy greens and a gentle dusting of powdered sugar
At first, this is ultra-floral... it almost made my eyes water, it was so sharp. After about 30 minutes, however, it has dried down to a really beautiful, elegant scent. It's kind of along the lines of Betrothal Potion or Spring Fever. I can see myself wearing this on a spring day, when the sun is out. I'm definitely keeping my sample

Woo hoo! Got my notice too!! Maybe I'll have it by this weekend!
-
Hmm. I wonder if I could just add it to my LP Pink spray? I don't have any empty trial spray bottles..
-
Am I the only one who can't get anything from LFM?
I have a decant, in oil. It was in a 5 ml roller ball bottle. I tried it a few times and never got any obvious hits or selfies. I put it in a different roller ball, to try and get it to apply easier. I get more out now, but still nothing. I'm swiping on my wrists, and along my collarbone. I've tried it at work (both jobs), with Mr Perfect, at home with my kids.. I'm ready to give up..
-
How exciting! I've used both with my b/f.. I found both to be easy to cover. If it were me, I'd do LP Red and Original with the b/f, and maybe NOCO White and Petal Pusher with the family?
-
Sure, as long as I still have some then
-
Woo!! Great job, Mara and Luna!
I can't wait to sniff Bawdy Babe (aka LadyV, lol), Petal Pusher and Tingle Tangle (Special D meets Musk in the Pixie Dust?). And to compare the new To Soothe a broken Heart with my much beloved bottle...

Here's what Mara said re: how to pay:
They are $24.95 each. You can ask for an invoice or pay via the Private Editions page accessible from the Gift Shoppe. You choose the "Additional Bottles" option and write in the one you want.
However, these are not ready for paying yet, I am still bottling and labeling and must still report on how many are available in the end.
I'm sure she'll let you know when. An invoice might be easier though, if you're still confused.

I've never tried Melissa's Creamy Iris, so I can't say.. but I can send you a sniffie of this, if you'd like to try it out
-
I REALLY want to get one of Tyvey's Chewy Spice, but I already have so many perfumes that Mr Perfect doesn't like... and he doesn't like patchouli.. lol
I think I will just stick with what I have
-
If there are any still available, I'd like to get:
Lina's Woodland Romance
Chrissy's Pink Lavender Cake
Memorare -THANK YOU for organizing all the notes!!
-
VV, I used Gotcha when I first met my b/f, and I was worried about that.. But I haven't found that to be a problem. It's been over a year, and pheros or not, he still thinks I'm awesome!

What's a "full sampler?"
Sorry for the confusion, I just meant that I was getting the sampler set, with all the New Release samples for the month.. as opposed to just buying 1 or 2 samples.
-
definitely a full sampler for me! I want Two Lips and a Kiss for the label alone! And To Soothe a Broken Heart.. I love that one! I'm going to wear it tonight, in celebration.. and OMG, Love is Love w G/G.. *dies*

Actually it was 2013, but that was fun too.
This time a few characters from previous are making a return...
OMG, really? Wow, how time flies..
-
Channeling the inner romance writer?
She did that last January

I tried this one again tonight, because I've really been craving a green tea scent.. but the apricot is really prominent now. I'll keep looking.. or maybe do a PE this Spring
