  1. Once again, I am astounded how Mara can take something so simple and have it come across as something so complex. The depth in the Sugared Peonies is incredible! It is light, pink floral. Very feminine and like laying on a soft pink cloud. I think even people who struggle with florals will enjoy this.

  2. I have a love-hate relationship with berries, but I had to get this one since it's me in the label! In the bottle, this is berries and sugar, but on my skin, it is so, so much more!! A few years ago, I went wine tasting in Missouri. I had a delicious wine that was half white wine blended with fresh raspberry juice. That's exactly how this smelled. It was like I plunged my wrists into buckets of this wine, studded with blackberries, and then lightly dusted them with white sugar. It was so fresh and vibrant with the barest hint of tartness. As it dried down, I start to get the other berries and the pink feel. Particularly the mulberry, which I adore with pink sugar. In the long drydown, like sic plus hours, this is still there, soft, pink and more warm now with an almost caramel feel from brown sugar. Very girly without being immature. I absolutely love this!

  3. In the bottle, it is exactly as it says it is: a light musk sweetened with sugar. On my skin, it was actually a bitmore perfume-like than i expected. It's clean (but not soapy) skin. On its own, it is a wonderful, light musky scent for when you want an unobtrusive fragrance, and I can see myself wearing this a lot for that! But it's when I layered it that I really got that "skin musk" feel that I adore. :hearts0425: I want to layer this with EVERYTHING!!

  4. In the bottle and first on, this smells exactly like the hydrogenated creamy goodness of the cream in a Twinkie. I swooned! After a few minutes, though, it mellows into a wonderfully soft, lightly sweet cream that melds into the skin. Just the tiniest hint of vanilla. Great for if you a craving a foody non-cake scent.

  5. Thanks, will try again-no sniffing!! also will add 10% to a fragrance and check it out, I also ordered some samples phero enhanced fragrances

If it were me, I wouldn't add it to a fragrance I adore. If LFM turns out not to agree with you, then you wouldn't be able to wear it!!!! I'd give it a few days and then try a smaller amount.

  6. I wear them for the same reason I wear anything: because I like them!! In the women's' threads, I also suggest which of those I think a man could pull off.

As for dosage, I apply enough scent so that I have to look for it on myself, raise my wrist to my nose or stick my nose down my shirt. That amount varies depending on how heavy the scent has or how much it throws.

  7. So I know this thread is very 'aged' - but wanted to hear @ Cerise and coverage - how well it worked, etc.

LivinginParadise - how did it go? Has anyone else tried? I'm doing research on more of the fruitier blends, specifically cherries and currants just because it sounds like it'll smell beyond YUM and also kinda mysterious and deep at same time.

Like I said above, I don't boost; I tend to wear them separately, but I've had no issues with Mamelons de Cerise (A Touch of Cerise was a remake of this) covering a small amount of Bang. Provided you don't get overly sweaty or anything, or the cops will real its ugly head!

  8. I know some people get their OCCOs in a spray, but do be careful not to let it get in your hair. Even when scented, cops still do funk things in the hair. I accidently got Cops and Robbers in my hair, and it was like someone had raunchy sex in a donut shop!

I finally decided to try some of the new OCCO Ambrosia. The initial blast is intensely cherry. Intense!! I think it was Tyvey that said it was 3D? That's a great descriptor. Very in your face. I don't get as much mango at first, but it creeps up on you, and it and the cherry meld into a wonderful, tropical scent. I'm getting a bit more of something deep in this. It's got to be the cocoa absolute. The long dry down is just a bit more syrupy and thicker than my original Ambrosia. The overall scent is not different enough to my nose to require me to get a bottle of it.

  9. Probably anything with cops in it. In particular, Sexology, Cuddle Bunny, or Bang! will do it for my guy. BUT, if he's particularly tired or stressed out or in pain or something, he'll get turned on but just doesn't have the energy for anything. So then he's frustrated too. Not good. Generally speaking, we can overcome the tired more often, but the stress has a higher threshold, because while pheros can do a lot of things, they just can't turn off a worried mind.

  10. QG, I'm betting Sugared Woods (I'm guessing akin to the former Sugared Forest) will be *superb* for guys. Along with Sandalwood, Earth, Greenery, Cedar...etc... and of course, Clean Musk!

Yep, and Grasses, maybe Leather. At least in my mind. These were what I was making a mental list of. Though the subject may be unwilling, I will test on my end and give you a heads up if any smell particularly good, QG!

  11. My first post. I am really LOVING this perfume! I hope I can get a full bottle when I come back from my travels. This is one unique chocolate scent with a very compelling raisin note on a bed of strange mustiness (the black amber?) that somehow just works! This is my first perfume experience with raisin and I hope it won't be the last :). I love the raisin choco combo.

Welcome! Great review! And I'm sure it won't be. I've worn notes in fragrances from here that I would never have thought of wearing!!! But LP makes them smell great!

  12. Haven't done this in awhile! I know this will change when i bust out my fall scents!
