  1. I worried a bit about the oud. turns out i didn't need to! It's just the grounding note this needed, deep and rich against the pumpkin pie sweetness. the apple is perfect in this, in that it doesn't read on my skin as apple, more as a brightness. The patch came across as mildly floral, and it worked! Hours later, i was left with a skin like spicy smell that was to die for!

  2. If you like SWS and it makes you feel good and you like how people react to you, then go with it! The only other one I would consider if it were me is Open Windows during dinner, depending on the situation. Do you know anyone who has interviewed on campus recently? They can tell you if it was more casual or interview like in setting, if it's just you and maybe one or two interviewers or alumni or the committee and several interviewees (both of which I would wear Open windows) or you and the whole committee (definitely an SWS setting!).

I scent based on what I'm wearing, what the weather's like, and how i feel that day, so bring all three!

    Good luck!

  3. He, however, was down right bristly - very uncharacteristic. He is usually a very easy going guy, but seemed to have some snippy remark about every statement I made (even if not work related),

seajammarket, you could be describing my guy exactly. He had a reaction like this just the other day, and it is atypical of him. I know for him it was the phero, because once i suspected he was having a bad reaction, I started moving around, getting closer and moving away, and finally getting up and showering, after which he was back to his old self. I've narrowed it down to beta-nol in the presence of something, but would have to test more to figure out what that something is for him. so just based on my experience, I would agree with dolly and put that Empathy Potion away!

But Empathy potion is kind of an emotional phero. maybe he was getting a vibe that you were too emotional about a work situation. Even if you weren't, maybe that's what the phero was putting out. Could have irritated him.

Maybe just steer clear of the empathy potion for your other meeting with him....it could be anything, maybe the combination of beta-nol and est....who knows? I don't think I would test it again in this situation where this project is so important. I would go with something upbeat that you know he responds well to, if it were me. Maybe you can try the empathy when you don't have quite so much to lose.

This struck a chord with me because like i said above, i'm convinced my guy was having an issue with beta-nol in the presence of something. I hate to threadjack, but have you experienced an off reaction with this combo?

  4. I tested this on the 26th. I was only putting in a half day at work and i knew I had to come home and start prepping for Thanksgiving. seemed the best day to really get a feel for this one. First on, I got the mood boost that i tend to get from DHEAS. After the inital flutter, I felt myself calm and relax. I was relaxed but not languid. I felt focused but not the hyper-aware intense focus i got from Heart to Heart Empathy (which was slightly unnerving to me). Normally, the amount of running around I was doing would make me feel borderline panicky, but not that day. I got shit done. Then when I got home, i made three dishes at once, two of which required rolling out. It was kind of insane. i had a pie crust and cracker dough on parchment on the counter and rolled one direction over both and back down the other. When both were sufficiently flat, i plopped the pie crust in the pan and cut out the crackers and tossed them in the oven with the first dish. And then cleaned the kitchen. And was happy about it!

I still want to test this one again, possibly on Wednesday and again next Monday, but i'm willing to buy this one in its present state. Good stuff!

  5. Like Bella, I've done the mingles but not speed dating, and I'm Cougar all the way. How have you tried Cougar in the past? In an enhanced scent or boosted/ UN strength? I know that for me, personally, I get better results in an enhanced scent, like Cougar Potion. And the same with SS4W. If you want to wear that one, start testing minute amounts. I went through 75% of a bottle of it before i discovered that i will only get results with microscopic amounts. I dab the bottle on one wrist, just a small round spot of it, and press them together. Then i do a dot on my abdomen. That's it. Start small and add more. Gotcha might be good too. Both have light cops. I'm with Lynnie on the cops issue. I think in this particular setting, you'd get more results with a sexy social. Keep it light and fun! Good luck!!

  6. Yes, exactly what Bella said. Stick with Gotcha now, at least for the next couple times you see him, and if everything is still going good, go to the Perfect Match. Someone gave me that same advice that Bella gave, and it was good. I wore Lace consistently when I saw my guy (about five times over three weeks) and then I used Perfect Match. By that point, we were really ready for the bonding that it inspired.

  7. On the advice of Calii, I tried Intellectual Man with cops added. It is my "get stuff done and take no prisoners but everyone still loves me" phero for work. IM has alpha-androstenol, epiandrosterone, beta-androstenol, androstanone, DHEAS, beta-androstadienol in it. Of course, it's gone now. I'd say Dom is probably the closest to this combo. (Though Dom makes me bitchy...no one loves me, )

  8. Tyvey, I agree about the pink. As time went on, this got warmer and pinker. I'm almost getting a soft spicy note out of this that I can't imagine where it's coming from. The fig? Bee pollen? I asked the marine what he thought, and he nearly went crossed eyed, either from the delicious scent or the Bang, I'm not sure which. This unexpectedly shot up to the top of my list. Full bottle fo' sho'!!!!!

  9. I put this on and got a rush of nostalgia. It reminds me of my grandma hanging the wash on the line in her backyard. This is so light and springy, I can't even BELIEVE there's Bang! hidden in here. It's very fresh and green to start with, almost too much so on my skin, but as it dries down, it warms up. I get more vanilla, and the fig is so lush and sensual. My nose kept drifting back to this one when i was testing it. I'm going to have to give it a proper wearing to decide.

  10. I didn't get a pink vibe from this at all. This is like a pomegranate fluff. (Does this exist? I must experiment in the kitchen!!) So even though there is the sweet creaminess of the sugar and marshmallow, the pom adds a rich, deep sophisticated note. And it isn't overly tart to my nose. The kumquat gives this just enough of an edge so we don't float away on a puffy cloud. It wears really light on me. I'd have to slather this. The scent with the Levitation phero is wonderful. we're just on a cloud of happy over here in our office!!
