AAAAAA!!! It's THAT TIME again!!! These are GREAT. I must have Bat...being Batsy and all! I love bats too. Stellaluna is a wonderful book. YAY BATS. I love it when they skim my head by my front door light as they hunt moths. And they look so cool when they skim our windows doing the same thing. I saw a bat empty my biggest kitchen window of moths in something like two minutes or less.

P.S. I'd go for a Totem: Raven too.

I don't really have recent pics of me that I like. I don't really like many of me. I have maybe 6 give or take throughout my life time, including my avi that I don't cringe at the idea of people seeing. I am just not photogenic at all. I have tons and tons of kitty pics for sure!!!!

Calrissian's came out quite awesome! I think I made something that he might even like on his duck's butt! LOL! Seriously though, it's growwlll animalic sexy, and something either sex can wear. I went with a base of raw teakwood which gives it a wild outdoorsy woody feel, and layered that with tonka bean, animalic musk, a drop of leather, and a note that greatly resembles ambergris....so, it might make him bark! There's a lot of animal magnetism in there!

 

Great pix of your kids! I love how you dress them up, sooo cute!

 

For Bonne Belle - her looks and your description of her as such a little lady reminded me of my own little soulmate, I made her something really special. I loved your idea of the fresh bamboo base, and as you asked for a "delicate" rose, I chose fresh cut rose stems only...it's consistent with the bamboo greenery and has just the softest nicest part of the rose smell. I chose my favorite fuzzy warm Indian Sandalwood and favorite velvety white amber, and there's just a couple of drops of Bergamot EO on top. To me it smells like raindrops, with a touch of velvety-ness beneath. (It smells like my Lunacat does after she gives herself a bath - I always say, "My baby smells like raindrops!")

OMG LUNA the story for Burnt Umber is BRILLIANT!!! The color is always in my palette. Now the story is in my heart and the perfume will be on my skin!!!

...and Carbon Black. Mmmm-mmm-MMMM!!! Creepy and wonderful!!!

OMG, look what my bassist Alex just posted on facebook. That's her as She-Ra and me as Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld, dressed up for Halloween sometime in the late 80's. OMG I AM SO SLOW. I was just looking at the labels again and...umm...DUH!!!...they are going to make the vials look like crayolas!!! I thought they were cute and pretty already, and now I think they're also brilliantly CLEVER!

Oh! That sounds like one of my weekly art classes at the local elementary school! The kids adore the riots, and I, of course, love the devil worship. *gigglesnort*

Dangit, I *encourage* the kiddos to draw things like purple bears if they want. I'm always, "EVERYTHING is an art supply. Art is EVERYWHERE. ANYTHING and ANYONE can be creative. There's NO wrong way to do this!!!" And they've heard it so much, they're like, "We know, Ms Betsy, we know..." Hee!!! And then the little buggers create freakin' masterpieces!!! They're amazing. They're inspiring. They get tired of hearing me tell them how wonderful they are. Holy SHITE, I think it's abhorrent that so many people have had their creativity squelched when they were kids. Sometimes I want to hunt certain teachers down and slap them silly. ARGH!!!! Yeah, let's force everyone into the same little cubbyholes. NOT! F&ck that!!!
