  1.

No, well, yes, but I meant that I think this will be one of those that makes everyone need less alcohol than they usually require.

    :drunk:

LOL. Can we have a male version of this? Because Shadow and restraint are not well-acquainted when it come to liquor and this would equal less of a hangover.

  2. Ok. I totally pared down my order to the bare bones because money's a little tight this month while I adjust the budget to account for the car payment. So I ended up ordering bottles of Because The Night, GOTCHA!, Odalisque and La Femme Noire, the Men's sampler and a trial spray of Heart Throb for Shadow's Xmas stocking and forum samples of Balls! and EBIL-ish.

Dam that was hard but probably for the best. Shadow is super-picky so it's better to buy the samples so that if he doesn't like them I didn't splurge on a bottle I have to sell. I have enough of those.

  3. Dang, I must be really out of the loop, I had heard of neither... I really need to get out more

Heh. I have a tramp stamp. Actually I've had it so long it wasn't even called that when I got it (13 years ago). And it's not on my lower back, it's directly over my tailbone. (It's a pentacle in a celtic knot so i wanted it well-hidden for work reasons.)

But ya. I've heard it called both.

ETA: So far it looks like I'll be ordering bottles of Because the Night and Odalisque and samples of Balls and Soaked. I'll have to see the UN descriptions though before I decide if I need bottles of those as well. Plus a few things for Shadow's Xmas stocking.

  4. Close, hmmmmm........Charlie Chaplin.....

Is it similar to the "charlie" commercial fragrance....that was citrus-y, huh?

    Ooh good one.

Charlie is classified as a floral-aldehyde fragrance. It is composed of citrus, bergamot, hyacinth, green leaf, tarragon, peach, and aldehyde top notes, cyclamen, carnation, orris root, lily of the valley, jasmine and rose middle notes, and sandalwood, musk, vanilla, oakmoss, and cedar base notes.

  5. Anyone care to guess why I named it Enduring Appeal? It has to do with how the model is dressed, (as much as the scent itself, but you can't know that part yet as you haven't smelt it)..... :P

There's an orange note in it.

    Appeal = peel

The way she's dressed = A Clockwork Orange

    (Do I get a prize?)

  6. well, this starts and remains super-grapey on me, unfortunately. It didn't meld down to anything nice until the next morning!! I never did get any chocolate, but the dry-down of the amber is amazing!!

Very similar to my test. All grape. Like grape juice grape. It actually smells purple, if purple could have a smell. I get a touch of amber on the drydown but not much.

  7. Exactly! I was thinking this might be a fun one to layer with Skye Loves Chocolate! which would provide more of the dark chocolate which seems to be missing for me.

Well that's perfect then since I have a few bottles of SLC. I mean whut?
