  1. ;) CONGRATS on your first order, Ishtar! I'm addicted to 4 out of your seven: LP Black, Cuddle Bunny, Garland & Lace and Cougar Potion. Staples, all. I know the other three are great, too, but haven't gotten around to obtaining them. You are going to LOVE these scents!!!

Thanks Elizabeth! I've tried to get a bit of everything phero-wise, while staying away from the more hardcore blends for now. Everything in its due time :)

I'll make sure to post reviews and let you know how the other three worked for me.

  2. hmmm, Sexology2 = Est,B-nol & Cops :)

...the scent is very sexual though.

Dolce Far Niente is a favorite of mine, packs quit a copulin punch, but lots of warm fuzzies from the B-nol ;)

You know, Sexology II really appeals to me for some reason, and it sounds like it would work well on me as a scent.

I almost ordered it, so I am definitely putting it on the shortlist for my 2nd order - thanks for the recommendation, Calii!

  3. My first order! <_<

I'm sticking to sample-size until I have a better idea of which notes work on me and which ones don't (I'm going on the assumption that all the blends listed on the website are still available, correct?) :

    - Naughty on the Nile

    - LP Black

    - Dolce Far Niente

    - Cuddle Bunny

    - Garland & Lace

    - Brigid's Amber

    - Cougar Potion

    Can't wait!

  4. I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations to help me break an old pattern in my love life.

Although I'm very outgoing and meet people easily, I tend to be overly slow and cautious in initiating relationships. By the time I make up my mind to become involved with someone, either it's too late, or we've long crossed into "good friends" territory and nothing more. And sure, friends are great and all that, but some love and physical intimacy would be nice too!

My last long-term relationship ended last fall, and I have met someone I really, really like. The thing is, we're both textbook Aquarians - fairly unemotional, stuck in thinking mode, and very reserved when it comes to expressing our feelings. Needless to say, things are progressing at a glacial pace, even if it's obvious there's a special bond between us (most people we meet automatically assume we're a couple).

So I'd like to find something to help us open up and feel safe talking about our feelings - and at the same time heat things up a little! The vibe I'm going for at this stage is definitely more gentle and loving intimacy than blatantly sexual. I was thinking something with est or B-nol? Love Blossom maybe? Dolce Far Niente?

Does that make sense, or am I far off the mark? Many thanks in advance for any suggestions you can make!

  5. Thanks to all three of you for the warm welcome. halo0073, you're right, this forum seems exceptionally friendly!

ElizabethOSP, I don't meet many people who know of/are interested in Ishtar! I am more of a Kemetic (Egyptian) bent myself, but I do have an affinity with Her.

Being the cat lover that I am, I had to google Gay Purr-ee as soon as you mentioned it - looks really cute!

My avatar is part of a painting by Shag (with a name like that, shouldn't he have his own LP blend?) - it's called "The Lost Book", from his Motorino series.

Elliebellikins, I fully intend to let the games begin... and report back soon :w00t:

  6. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the recommendations, everyone!

I am off to hunt down samples of the scents you have suggested... plus a couple more, I'm sure :)

PS: the emoticons on this forum are the best - they crack me up! :D

  7. Hi everyone! I recognize quite a few friendly faces from other boards - I am thrilled to be here!

My name is Emmanuelle. I am 36, was born and raised in France, and I have been living in Vancouver, BC for the past 10 years.

A fellow BPAL-ite enabled me months ago by sending me a sample of Isis (of course, I had to fall in love with a long-gone scent...)

I have been wearing perfume oils and artisan scents for years, but I am completely new to the world of pheromones. It's a real treat to read all the great info posted by experienced users, and since I love learning something new, I couldn't be happier!

My preferences tend to run towards sweeter, richer, darker scents. I do very well with resins, vanilla, musks, spices, and most types of fruit. Experience has taught me not to dismiss any component outright though, especially when sampling from the catalogue of a new-to-me parfumeur.

I am probably going to need lots of recommendations, so expect to see me post again soon!

In the meantime, if anyone can suggest something similar to my beloved Isis (I saw someone mention LP Black in a review, I think?), I am all ears!
