Yes, those roll-ons exactly. I like the convenience of the already diluted formulations and the versatility of being able to layer them with any scent I desire... so I'm not limited to only those I have with the add-ins nor am I constrained to wear the pheromones when I want to wear a particular scent (i.e., since I don't have the pheromones inside the scent, I can choose to wear the scent with or without pheromones).

I have tried Drop Your Guard, and I would think it would be appropriate for business environments. I don't, however, use it in the classroom as the 'nols tend to make my students too chatty. Not very conducive to teaching, especially when they are already dealing with impulse control issues and distractiblity.

On the other hand, Super Sexy does not contain any cops... so it just adds a bit of Omph to your perfume, kind of like a "glamour" spell in a bottle.

Dolly also made a perfect suggestion about simply using the D5 alone, just in a rollon bottle all by itself. That would provide the "insulation" between your skin and the scent, making it harder for the scent molecules to be absorbed into your skin. You might consider asking Mara if she can sell you a bottle of D5 by itself, or if she can point you in the right direction to obtain some.

Well, I am not Goth at all, but this scent is totally creamy, decadent, and rich on me. Not overly patchouli or incense-like at all.....AND, it really does its job of attracting admiring glances.......it is definitely one of my faves.....as a matter of fact, I may have to wear this one today, just for the heck of it......

That's how it is on me, too! And, I love it's creamy vanilla richness. In fact, both I and The Bear were wearing it last night while at my son's band competition

Curious.. Chaionlife, I purchased a full size btl of the scented Cougar Potion, just wondering, what are you blending/layering it with ? The LPs I have may be to "bold" and I'm afraid the citrusy grapefruit would lose it "umph" . What would you suggest ? liz

I've layered it with Dark Seductions and Robin and Marian (both with and without Sugared Honeycomb). Also, I tried it with LP Red, Black, White, and Pink (in four different parts of my anatomy). On my skin, the grapefruit amps up quite a bit upon initial application, then it backs down and the musk comes to the forefront. The grapefruit is still noticable, but it is as an undertone. So, like that, with the musk and other notes, it blends well with the florals and even the LPs on me.

Oh, my gosh... I just realized... when Cougar was being brewed/pre-release, Mara commented:

My personal chemistry burns up the citrus notes pretty fast, leaving me with the cloudy, musky, sugary vibe beneath the citrus for the majority of the perfume's life on my skin.

and I responded that I would love the potion to smell even 1/10 as gorgeous on my skin as it did on hers...

and I get that same type of "cloudy, musky, sugary vibe..." YAY!

Anyway, we TRY to get them out around the 15th of each month, but we are often at the mercy of our suppliers so if they ship late, we get delayed. We are awaiting supplies from two suppliers this month - both of them being sluggish!

You know, it's funny... but since My Beloved asked me to limit my scent wearing around him to one or two... and I have therefore had to learn to discipline myself about which scents are worn when... those scents which I have set aside for non-Beloved times are actually making me less... hmm, what word fits here... upset/disappointed/grumpy/... no, none of those is quite the word I'm looking for... well, they don't necessarily make me miss him less (we both have very busy schedules so, actually, we are apart A LOT of the time) nor do they make me happy that it's "wear the non-Beloved scents" time... but they make the time away from him less onerous... like, I have something about being apart from him to which to look forward. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying out the new scent treasures... I always fall in love with so many of them....and there is always the possiblity that he will find a new favorite so I can have three Beloved-time scents rather than just two!

Now, to take my "antsy pants" over to the Specials thread... and check out the impromptu specials!

I'm so new here I have no idea if this is going to post properly. But I absolutely love the photos since I teach art history. Being a woman of a "certain age" I am very interested in the Cougar LP, but I'm not big on grapefruit. Any ideas on what it would blend well with that is light and green?

Just as a note, I accidentally ordered the scented version of Cougar Potion... This fortunate accident prompted me to trial layering recipes with my sample vial (so I could decide what to do with the full bottle) and I discovered to my complete joy that it layers wonderfully with many of the LP scents. The grapefruit does have the additional aromotherapy benefit of causing those smelling it to perceive you as younger; this benefit exists even when they sniffer is not "perceptually" aware of the grapefruit scent (i.e., when it is layered and blended beautifully with other scents). Funny, I swear I get a bit of self-effect from it as well

I'm planning on ordering the unscented as well, but thought I would share my experiences with the scented version.

I've been reading here and checking out pherotalk and androticsdirect.com, and I think I'm going to order 'Instand Sexiness B' and 'Instant Shine' from there, and use my Love Potions over them. I opted for the unscented Super Sexy roll-on; I just roll it on like I would the scent, allow it to dry-down, then apply my scent over it.

One thing that I absolutely love about the LP formulations is that they are non-alcohol based and they stay so nice and long on the skin.... and the selling point for me was that they are "hair-safe" so, when I run them through my hair, I don't have to worry about them drying my hair out... of course, running the roll-on through my hair means greater diffusion area, therefore more 'mones into the area around me.

No worries, we do. Sugared Honeycomb is one of our most popular blends.

Good thing, too.... My Beloved requested it with Dark Seductions last night. YUM!

I was really, really pleased with this perfume. Not only is it delicious and utterly edible (but don't try it!) But it "stuck" and it "stuck" for a good long time even on my foody-perfume-devouring-skin.

 

At first I smelled of sugar and rich, sweet, luxury fruit preserves and jelly - then later the buttery smell of soft and crumbly melt-in-the-mouth pastry comes through and starts to bloom and take over.

 

This is really divine and I am soooo glad to find a food scent I can actually wear and keep on my skin for more than minutes!

Oh, I had to get some extra vials for the other teachers at religious school... handed them out at synagogue during religious school today. Everyone *loved* the scent... the religious school director wants Mara and Danna to come to our Purim party on the 23rd and was so disappointed when I told her the two of you lived in California (Mara and Danna, consider yourselves invited in you can find a way to get here... and, Mara, you could wear your new quidditch robes!)... we all smelled absolutely divinely yummy during class this morning

Only been a bit over an hour and it's disappeared .

Oh, Liz, I know how disheartening that can be! My skin does the mysterious disappearing act with many a scent. In fact, even with those that "stick", I think I reapply my scents at twice the normal rate. I have found that the new LP pheromone formulations, with their silicone base of Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), do provide a great foundation on my skin and help scents "linger" and diffuse better.

I had fun today with the Cougar Potion... I was playing with my sample of Cougar Potion today... and tried layering it with My Beloved's favorites... Dark Seductions and Cougar Potion (apply Cougar Potion first, wait for dry down, then apply DS) on left wrist and right side of neck... Robin and Marian and Cougar Potion (same procedure) on right wrist and left side of neck. I wanted to see if we would have any "surprise" appreciation of foody scents like we had with Sugared Honeycomb and Dark Seductions. My Beloved MMMM'ed with both of them (saying he preferred the left wrist to the right... and the left side of the neck to the right... funny, because of how I staggered the scents... and because he is left-hand dominate). He did recognize that these were Dark Seductions and Robin and Marian but only when I told him they were layered with a grapefruit scent, did he sadly say "Oh, now I smell the grapefruit." Ha! I think I will keep layering these; I like the added kick of the grapefruit scent and we just won't tell him how I'm layering his favorite scents, so we can avoid his psychological adversity to food scents.

Well, you know how it is, never hurts to try!

 

Seriously though I love that Grapefruit scent in cougar and double-strength would be even better for me - 'cos as you know I am dead subtle and delicate in the perfume stakes...

Your loving the scent may be really good news for me... because I just received my recent LP order and realized that I goofed... and ordered the scented Cougar rather than the unscented... and My Beloved isn't a foody-scent aficionado. If you haven't ordered a full-bottle, would you be interested in mine (unopened, unsniffed, virginal as it were)

Just a note.....it WASN'T the Cougar grapefruit-scented potion that I used.....it was the unscented concentrate.....

Dolly, what is your application procedure using the concentrate?

To be honest at that age they are probably still producing tons of their own cops too. From reactions I have noticed I don't think PheroGirl (original) is too cop-loaded. Not compared to the six drops plus of neat EoW a lot of us have used. It's a difficult one, as Dolly says, they are your babies but they are adults too.

Well, the dilemma is resolved without further incident, so to speak ... After further "inspection" of the scents, a review explanation of the nature of pheromones and their bodies production of such, and a request by their mommy to rank order/prioritize their desired purchases (Understand, I love them so very much; they are truly very wonderful and good daughters; and, while I not only want them to smell beautiful, sexy, and lovely, I also want them to feel beautiful, sexy, and lovely... but, unfortunately, the bank account isn't bottomless... and budgetting, prioritizing, and deferring gratification are all necessary skills in life... so I was being a good mommy in doing this), their respective lists didn't include, at this time, the phero blends. So, for the time being at least, no pheros for my babies.

I do think, however, that my older daughter, who has used hormonal contraceptives for several years and who has had repeated issues reproductively, might be interested in the phero blends... and that she might benefit from them from a pheromone standpoint.

I ordered a roll-on of this after reading the reviews and am really looking forward to trying it out.... with Dark Seductions and/or Robin and Marian. The scented potion didn't work quite too well with My Beloved (primarily due to his dislike of the "foody" scents) but I am looking forward to playing with the combos of the unscented blend and My Beloved's favorite scents.

Ladies, my 18 year old daughters are asking to try out the phero blends. I need thoughts and feedback..... I have explained the nature of pheros and the need for uhm, discretion in their use (i.e., not to be used indiscriminatly/with unrestrained abandon/without forethought) because they can be quite effective, particularly when combined with our Potion Master's and Sinister Girl's potions.

I need some feedback here, ladies.

I know sometimes I come across as quite, well, prude, and perhaps overly conservative... and in some regards I certainly am. However, I am and have always been extremely sexual, and am of a very passionate nature. My daughters, including my foster daughter, have some of that as well. I don't habitually place ethical judgement on anyone's sexual conduct, as long as it is consensual. Heck, I sell sex toys! I think that pretty much says it all!

But, these are my babies, if you know what I mean. Yes, they are adults and I am certainly aware of that fact... but they are still my babies.

My youngest biological daughter is not at this moment sexually active... my foster daughter is not currently in a relationship but has been sexually active in the past.

Uh-huh-- people go glassy-eyed over me, when I wear this. EVEN if I'm wearing scrubs and no make-up.

This one definitely earns me compliments, as well. It is a lovely, beautiful, fun, and sweet scent!

In vial, I really like the smell of this, it's definitely a guy smell and seriously nice. I would really appreciate this type of fragrance on a guy,

 

On wet, stays pretty true, I am getting some woods and what I think must be the moss, if this is the oakmoss, I really like it.

 

As it dries I start to get the citrus. It's still a really great scent and easily comprable with a lot of the designer colognes for guys. However, I personally can smell the pheros in the background, through the cologne. I think this is probably because I have used these pheros on myself on several occasions in the past from Androtics.

 

It is towards the background though. It might also be the smell of the solution Androtics dilute with I have only ever bought from them so I'm not sure if it is the carrier or the phero. It's a smell I like though and I reckon anyone who has not experimented with pheros a fair amount would be unable to pick it out or recognise it. It's not at all unpleasant in fact it is rather nice.

May, I love PB Dominance on My Beloved. Definitely the Oakmoss/woody smell is present; I don't get too much of the citrus on him, although I think that would be nice. As for the pheromone scent, I am one of those as of yet unschooled/inexperienced newbies and I can't pick up on it. I'm also glad he can't... that might weird him out a bit. He is very alpha, himself, though... perhaps it is a more natural smell on him?

I have green and red also, but haven't tried them yet on me. White is on the way, as I just ordered it.

White is absolutely lovely, isn't it? I truly love the way the LP base is transformed by the "white" varieties of the ingredients. As the description states, it is very elegant and sophisticated while still extremely sexy. Honestly, I had originally tried the Black and Red variants first, primarily because they *seemed* more darkly sexy and had waited to try the White. Now, after having received the White just this past week, I am very sorry I delayed. It is absolutely lovely and is fast becoming one of my favorites.

Like, Dollisimo I have both Red and Black in solid. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I should try the original too. However, that said, am going only on a "trial while still in the vial" I think Green might become my new favourite.

I have full bottles (yes, multiples, as I love these two so much!) of Red (oil only; no solid) and Black (oil and solid forms) and a full bottle of Pink (such a fun, girly scent!) and I am ordering full bottles of White (lovely and elegant!). In my last order, I also received trial vials of Original and Green.

The Green is definitely wonderful, isn't it, May! I'm loving that Green Musk; it lends a very earthy (growing, fertile) aspect to the LP. Kudos to Mara and Danna for another great LP variation!

Oh yeah, it is just totally yummy, isn't it? Black is definitely one of my faves.....so is Red, though.....I have a hard time choosing......they actually smell good layered.....

I just tested this one today. I LOVE IT! One of my favorites, hands down..fa' sure! My husband loves it too so that is a plus cuz he is fussy about them.

I so wish this was one of my husband's favorites! It would make it so easy for my "signature scent" he is requesting to be Love Potion and all its variants. Plus, I love them! They are so rich, comforting, and sexy...

He just isn't a fan at all of "foody" scents.

Since several of you are saying this is coming off light on you, and it is coming off light on me too (of course on Danna, it's overpowering) I am going to amp this one up a bit. I think the dilution mellowed it more than I expected over the weeks that it matured. I'm going to double up the recipe without adding any further dilution, so anything ordered from here on should be quite a bit stronger, ok?

I just gave this one to the Chloe Bear (Yay! She's moving in town... no longer 6 hours away from her mommy! I know it is only temporary... but I'm going to enjoy every moment I get with her!)... it smells great on her! And, on her, it is gorgeous! She smells like an incense shop, just perfectly rich and deep; it really blossoms nicely on her (but, then, she LOOKS the part with her gorgeous olive skin and raven hair). This is definitely her favorite of the new releases.
