I just ordered the October sampler--well, and a couple-o-musks *COUGH*FINALLY IT WAS ABOUT TIME*COUGH* and I was really hoping that Midnight Masquerade would feel like a sister to Sparkle Fuchsia! LadyV's Sparkle plenty--which I LOVE--hits me like SF's elementary school photo from maybe fifth or sixth grade. YUMM-OHHH!!! This is very good news, Calii. K. I'll stop raving now...in a minnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too wondered that when I first started! There are a lot of sexual/sexy mixes with sometimes only very subtle differences. As the others have said, it really does vary, but here are some very quick rules of thumb, at least as far as how these blends work on me. I'm rating them here on what I perceive to be the most "sexual" towards the more "sexy", social blends.

Sexpionage: Absolute full-on, sexual mix, much more animalistic and aggressive than the others. Contains androstenone, which is normally a male pheromone, known for being "alpha" and aggressive. Use very carefully, do NOT use too much. Personally I'm not a big fan as I think I come across as a bit too aggressive and pushy on this.

Blatant Invitation: I see this as a lighter version of Sexpionage, with a little more "fun" thrown in. Use cautiously.

Bang!: Very sexy, turn-on mix, but also very fun and girly. This is SS4W with additional cops and est.

SS4W: Social, sexy, inspires a lot of admiration that doesn't necessarily have to be sexual (but can be). More sexy than sexual.

Sexology: Sexy, to me it's more girly and innocent though.

I will say my personal favourite is SS4W with a smidge of whichever OCCO takes my fancy. It is great because it's so versatile, sexy and popular-vibe in a crowd but if someone gets close it can be a real aphrodisiac as well.

Hmm, I thought I would like this one but it is going a bit artificial smelling on me, like strawberry body lotion or something. It's ok, but I guess strawberry just isn't the note for me.

Like Lovers in the Clovers and Taxed! I love those labels! (I grew up with dogs, so I'm a big pup fan, too. ).

OMG... Lovers in the Clovers... I just DIE over that label! The nibbling!! So sweet!

At first this was a lovely, sweet, fruity floral. But I'm sad to say that after a few minutes the citrus note comes out in this in a not so nice, lemony way. It's also irritating my skin a little, which is never a good sign. Washing this one off.

By bet on a returning enhanced scent would be Sparkle Fuchsia.

I can honestly say I do not believe Mara is going to remake that one.

I have got to try H&S other than with my mother, dammit! I used to before I got so much other stuff in my arsenal. I used to wear Kiss of Magic with Occo White all the time and get tons of attention. I need to remember to go back to my LP roots!

I have been feeling that way a bit too lately. I need to go back to my Passion in Pink roots. I used to love that...

I really love the smell of this one. The berries are so nice and the woods and resins round them out and make them sophisticated. I'm wearing this just for the scent.

I'm loving the sweet fruitiness of this. I get the peach, but it's very tempered by the woods, and not overly juicy or strong. A very gentle and safe autumn blend. I've been slathering this on my arms all day and my sample won't last long.

This is kind of a woody melon to me. I'm not sure I care for it. I can't even say exactly why, but it just doesn't feel like "me" at the moment.

I'm wearing Red Lace today and was almost going to put on some OCCO Red as well, but decided that might be a bit too much cops. I'm thinking I made the right choice now!

This one is very "red" to me. It's kind of a ginger, cinnamony-ness with a round, tea-like aspect. I like it, very warm and just a little bit spicy. I think this might smell pretty nice on a guy.

Why on earth did you trade it away to begin with?? How could you NOT like it?

I wonder if Mara will offer a try them all sampler pack?

What Raq said. If it has more than just a little cops, oil. If not, spray. That goes for perfumes too, though obviously it's a lot more expensive to get them in spray.

I simply adore OCCO Pink. It really does smell Pink Sugar-ish, and I can barely smell the cops at all. It is such a delicious addition to so many combos!

Ooh and maaaaaybe Blatant Invitation and Sexpionage... though they might be a bit scary in a spray

This is a very juicy, fruity apple, to me there's some other fruit in there as well that I can't quite put my finger on... I don't know... but I like it. On dry down it warms up and becomes less fruity, I think I like it better before drydown.

I find Lick of Pink more berry-like than other pink scents. To me it gives it a citrusy, almost lemony feel, but without being too citrus. I think you'll like it.

I don't really know what to make of this one. It is very soft, floral, smells almost a little bit commercial. I feel like it wears very close to the skin and even having slathered a heap of it on I don't feel like anyone will smell it unless they sniff very close. I really can't even tell what the notes are in this, but I sort of like it all the same.

ETA: Refreshed with this throughout the day. The soft, warm florals are floating up from my arms as I type. I'm liking it! I don't think I'll be rushing to get a bottle, but I'm going to enjoy my sample

There is a beautiful Open Windows scented perfume - is it Stealing Heaven? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Whichever scent has OW in it would be a good trial to see if you like the phero.

Oh yes - I adore Stealing Heaven just for the smell - so clean and fresh and citrusy and just nice!! I haven't even really tested it for phero effects, I just wear it because I love the smell. Pheros are just a bonus on that one.

I have gotten so used to shaking bottles now that I find myself doing it with everything. I shook up my bottle of moisturiser, don't know why. I shook up a bottle of water before drinking it yesterday. Sometimes I shake up a bottle of pills before taking one. My LP addiction has taken over my life!
