  1. Ok so this isn't similar at all? Thanks
  2. I am trying to find a scent as close as possible to BodaciouS Musk and Snow Musk... is this in the same vein?
  3. I'm utterly amazed with this one. I tried it out, having seen the ingredients list and thinking this was one I could put straight into the trade list. But something amazing is going on. I normally don't like vanilla, but it is just soooo cool and sheer and lovely in this. Even though it's not foody, it is truly delicious. I don't get how there can be actual essential oils in this, normally they are really sharp but this just isn't.
  4. The soft, sweet fruit notes from this make a welcome addition to many a layering. I love this one for its softening effect, the phero pairs with the scent perfectly. A great note to add to almost anything that needs a little sweetness, or a little femininity.
  5. I don't know why but I find this such a comforting, soothing smell. The light touch of coconut is just sooo sexy, yet the whole thing is very demure and soft and sweet. I love the gentle, fresh skin musk and the slight hint of something citrusy (the pineapple?) that is just an accent amongst all the other notes, but not overwhelming.
  6. I've gone from an enchantress, to a princess! (of far, far away)

I'm just a little bit in love with this at the moment. It's so cool and sheer, yet deliciously sweet. The lemony note is not piercing or nasty like it sometimes goes on me, just sweet and candy like - it reminds me a little bit of a cross between Cupidity and Feelin' Groovy. I didn't think I'd enjoy the licorice note but I can't detect it at all. Drydown is also lovely, a very natural, sweet skin smell. Winner!
  8. I knew I was right to buy a full bottle of this unsniffed! It is such a lovely, sweet cherry, but without the sharp plastic-y thing that some cherry smells get on me. It's very syrupy and delicious and just citrusy and tart enough to be interesting, but not overwhelming. The roses are very "red", and complement the red of the cherry beautifully.
  9. This is like a more spicy type of Little Witches to me. It's much more mature and grown-up. It might be my imagination, but I think I get a hint of licorice from it? As it dries down it goes a bit resinous on me, and the sweetness takes on more of a sticky, sickly element, like tree sap.
  10. Balls didn't work for me either. Neither did Jouir De, though there was *something* about it that kept me coming back to try it again. In general heavy scents, even foody-heavy, go wonky on me. I have found it is best to stick to bright, fresh, "clean" smells.
  11. This started out a bit too chemical/green on me, but dried down to a pleasant, sweet floral. Not a favourite, but it's nice enough.
  12. This hasn't got nearly the cop-y presence to it that I was expecting. Instead it's surprisingly sweet in a "sharp" way, perhaps it's a bit citrusy/fruity? Unfortunately it smells a lot better in the bottle than on my skin (I was expecting it to be the other way around!!), as it quickly turns plastic and artificial smelling on me.
  13. This is almost not there at all... it's very faint, no matter how much I slather on. It's a light floral musk, and yes I get the marshmallow now I am looking for it. I wish it was a bit stronger.
  14. I've got to admit, this just isn't a me scent. It comes off as spicy, rank vanilla, with something almost resiny between it. It is definitely sexy, but not the "me" kind of sexy.
  15. I am loving my Artfire orders! Thanks so much for giving us a second shot at those GGG items!
  16. This is very powdery on me - I didn't know oil could manage to actually smell "dry", but this does! It is the epitome of sweet baby powder, very musky and gentle and nice, with a slight floral undertone. I find myself wishing it was a bit sweeter, but I am a sweet freak and that is what layering is for I guess, and it is still very beautiful even despite that. The way it melds and warms up on my skin is simply to die for.
  17. Oh, this is such a WOW for me! I am so excited to own a full bottle of this because it smells JUST like BodaciouS Musk!! Ok so it's not exactly the same, with a side by side comparison I can smell the difference - Musky White Orchid goes a little more talcum powder like Sneaky Clean, but damn they are close. The best kind of skin musk, with just a hint of sweet, complex floral, melding and warming with my skin and making me feel like this sweet, natural smell is coming out of my own pores. This is seriously beautiful and I could slather myself in it.
  18. When this first goes on it is quite lemony or citrusy, though I'm not sure from the ingredients list what that could be from? However it soon dries down to a comforting, warm musky smell on me. I don't really get the vanilla much, or if it comes through it is just a gentle sweetness, not foody. I think this would work well on males as well - the initial citrus burst reminded me of a nice men's cologne.
  19. This is all vanilla on me. It's ok, though I'm not a big fan of vanilla. I wish I got the other notes out of it as well, such as the lavender or caramel, but they're just not coming through on me.
  20. I'm getting quite a fruity vibe from this as well as a deep, rich sexiness. It starts off strong and warm and elegant, but as it dries it goes a bit too rank for my liking. It's not a favourite for me, but it's not bad. Civet can be temperamental on me.
  21. I was just moving my sniffee of this from the table and couldn't resist opening it to take a whiff. Wow, this really is beautiful! Florals at their absolute best. If I could be sure this wouldn't give me a headache I'm not sure I could resist a full bottle. As it is, I will have to make my sniffee and sample last.
  22. I'm the same!! I just can't wear anything chocolate, even cocoa butter. So strange... given I love eating it!!
  23. I got a sniffee sample of this and it is really lovely. A very strong floral, very "there", even from just a small swipe, and just lasts and lasts. A bit more of a traditional perfume, different to much of Mara's more unique creations but still very beautiful. My only concern is when I first put this on I got a headache, not sure if coincidence or not so need to test a bit more.
  24. Spicy, a little foody, and strangely floral. I like the pumpkin in it, it has a Sparkle Fuchsia feel but less sparkly and pink. It's a shame to learn it has chestnut in it.
