  1. I just had three concocted and really love them all...

21st C Venus with A-nol, B-nol and EST (my own happy water)

C&J's Treacle Trollop with A-nol and a hint of cops

Suki's Boy Bait with SS4W - this is a wonderful layering tool. Sweetens anything up and adds some SS4W~ If you missed out on the phero and there are still add-ins, this is a good one to put it in. :)

  2. Welcome Amanda, or should I say Pink Champagne? Soon, your name will be shortened to PC19 - don't be offended when it happens. :).

Welcome to the land of the addicted and the pushers. We all wear both hats. Nothing like pushing your addiction...

  3. I just got to try this through the PE decant circle & it is beautiful! Deep & sensuous with the florals swirling in the background & some sweetness in the base. Are there any other scents, that are not sold out, that are similar to this?

Turkish Delight is what I based this on. I really liked the inscense in that one, but wanted some different notes. Turkish Delight does not have any of the orange, amber or musk notes that Sin City does. However, it does have the rose and lemon notes. Similar, but different.

Ditto !! I only wish I had purchased 2 of this blend. Very nicely done SB !!!

Thank you. This was so recently done, if folks were to post their order requests in the "by popular demand" thread, they might be able to bring this back. Minimum order is 12 bottles for a custom order, so if you can get together enough people to order close to this - there is a good chance it could be brought back.

I'll tell you what. Anyone who is willing to purchase a bottle or do a bottle split, post a request in my trading post. I'll tally all of the requests and if they hit a total of at least 8 bottles, I'll shoot the ladies an e-mail with a rebrew request.

  4. Oh, and I also made an order on Feb. 20th. So, I made orders on Feb. 20,21, 23, and March 2nd. Wow. I guess I did make a lot of orders. :)

It would be two weeks from your most recent order with those being that close together. So, it could be as long as the 16th...

  5. SB, how about trials of Jewel of the Regency, Soul Food and Sorcerer? Is three right for half a bottle? If so would you email me to let me know and include the names of the three so I will be sure not to forget? Thank you!!!

I will send you an e-mail tonight.

  6. I would LOVE that!! I will look at your wants and see if I can dig out something yummy for you!

Perfect. Just a warning - I am leaving early Sat for a week-long conference in DC. I won't be able to ship anything out until the 16th. As long as you are OK with that, I'll put you down for 1/2 of my bottle. :)

  7. You just gave me another scent idea: 'Pandamonium'

As you all know the real way of spelling that is 'pandemonium' so it's a play on the spelling and a way for us to get more bamboo (a favorite of mine too!)

'A riot of bamboo and other goodies'

I can't find the description of 'Musk in the Pixie Dust'. It seems to have been taken from the site. These are the ingredients of 'Aura Amour' and I was going to comping 'Musk in the Pixie Dust' with these:

Oak Moss: Luck, success, protection, power.

Bamboo: Protection, luck, wishes, water magic.

    Heather: Protection, peace.

    Sandalwood: Love, protection, calming.

    Amber: Luck, love, success.

    Vanilla: Nurturing love, comfort.

    Honey: Happiness, fulfillment, wealth.

That is an awesome idea! Too few with bamboo, this would be a great addition!

  8. hiya SB,

what else would you recomend layering it with?

it is perfect just as it is, i do notice that it's fading on me quite fast. luckily i've 2 coming, so i can reapply over and over. my skin is bad at eating perfume, LP oils lie really close to my skin after settling down; even LP black. they're different from my regular eau de toilettes which last longer on me. even my saudi oils last a very long time. i LOVE these oils here but do have to touch them up alot.

Try putting on some unscented lotion right before you apply. It may help it stay a little longer...

As for layering - It layers well with Pink Emerald, Sugared Heather, Suki's Boy Bait, Carpe Noctum, Vain, Dreams of Avalon (Magicalomaha.com), Hathor: Creation Potion, Jewel of the Regency, Lolita's Kiss, LP Green, Music of the Spheres, Plenty, Sugared Coconut, Sugared Forest, Sugared Amber, Sugared Gerbal, victim and Yin Ylang

That is just what I have used it with. I am sure that there are others that it will work with.

  9. Don't sell yourself short SB !! your description alone gives me a HUGE smile 04.gif knowing that I purchased a full btl unsniffed, hope we have the same body chemistry, and I think we have some similar tastes.

This is the one scent that I purchased in full-size. I don't think that you will be disappointed. :)

  10. Under her spell... Dark resinous ingredients for power and passion. A magickal spell oil of Resins, Spice, Florals and Musk, made for her with the addition of our Dominance for Women pheromone blend. The Sorceress is queen of all she surveys...

This doesn't remind me of LP Black at all... Perhaps different skin chemistry...

This is like a musky shadow, lurking around the edges of consciousness. It smells like I would think a shadow should smell. Musky, mysterious, almost dusty (but not quite), and grey. The dusty feel comes from the spices. It is not the typical spicy, it is more of a dry dusty spice. The florals feel "grey" to me. Not dark, and definately not springy or heavy. They are like a shadow of spring. I know this is a very vauge review, but I just can't get more specific. The best I can do is musky shadow... Always there, but always in the background. Watching and waiting.

  11. What's St. Paddy's Day without GREEN BOOZE? An out of this world concoction based on Danna's favorite green drink, blended by little green men, from Mars! Ok, Martian Lime is a bit different, it has a touch of musty chocolate and red pomegranate-like flavoring to it, but it makes for a great party! Served in a Martian Martini glass rimmed with green sugar. And it's almost creepy how when you wave a bit of this concoction under Danna's nose, she'll do your bidding, and wear a smile the whole time!

This is sparkly! I can smell the lime and the hint of chocolate. It has a margharita feel to it, but not quite that. It definately has a boozy note, but not the typical boozy that you find in the other LPs. This reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on... It is something that I used to sell when I worked at the perfume counter at Nordstrom...

It smells like there might be a hint of vanilla to this. Something is warming it up. I really like it.

  12. Sweet Grasses, Orchids, Zinnia, Dandelion, Peach, Vanilla, Spring Honey and Brown Sugar. Excitement is in the air!!!

Wet - this smells exactly like the bottoms my pant legs when I have been hiking in the early summer after a light rain. I am hiking on a narrow trail, the grass and flowers that overhang on the trail are still damp. My legs brus against the flora and fauna, my feet trampling some as I go along. The juices are captured on my cuffs that hang just barely above the ground. This smells like spring!

As it dries down, the grass notes sink back a little, but just a little. That note smells more like the stems of fresh picked dandelions than grass now. This is the perfect pick-me-up scent when I am longing for spring. The peach is there, but very very subtle. I expected it to be more dominate on my skin, but it is more like the scent of ripe peach skin than the juices of the peach. Very beautiful and subtle.

This one is a keeper for me.

  13. Nectar sipped by wee little hummingbirds, sweetly kissed with their favorite florals. Peach nectar, honeysuckle, ivory lilac, a touch of nectarine and morning glory, and that all-important dyed red sugar syrup!

This is sweet and fruity. The florals add just enough to keep this from being foody. I love the honeysuckle, which helps to balance the peach nectar during the really syrupy wet stage. As it dries, the other florals and nectarine start to peek out. This is definately a great scent for the tweens and teens. This is almost grown-up, but still syrupy enough to be young.

  14. Summon the power of the auspicious Dragon to your side... a potion of Protection, Good Fortune, Personal Power, Health, Self-Confidence and Calm. Bold Resins, a slice of Fruit, a sprinkling of Spice, and the smokey breath of the Dragon. Take flight!

Includes Dragon's Blood, Snap Dragon, Dragon Fruit. and more...

This is interesting and yummy. It is floral, fruity and almost spicy at the same time. It is surprisingly light. The snap dragon is very pretty and subtle. You can smell the dragon's blood, but it is not overpowering. There is something spicy in here, but it is in the background. There is also a hint of smoke, but also subtle. It is like all of the notes are melded together and sit in the background, wafting in and out. They take turns coming forward as the scent dries and changes with time. Not quite floral, not quite fruity. Somewhere in between. Definately a lighter scent. Not quite springy, but bordering on wanting to be. And not full bodied, as a winter or fall scent should be. It is transitioning from winter to spring...

  15. This one is fantastic. I have 3 bottles in my stash. I love it on it's own and it is great to layer with just about anything when I want the properties. My absolute fav to layer it with is Musk in the (pixie) Dust - which is also sold out.

Edited to say, this is one of the few that have bamboo in it and I think that is the note that I love so much in this one.

  16. sultry brunette, that happened to me, too, with Fairest. I could even smell it directly in the oil; but I think aging has taken care of that. Why not keep it around a couple weeks at least?

Already traded it off... I have plenty in my stash to keep me occupied. I will let someone else enjoy the loveliness of this one.

  17. Welcome Cherry Rose! I love your avatar.

Phero Girl is scented and has a heavy honey note. It also has cops (read the description on Essence of Woman) in it, so is pretty sexual. Cuddle Bunny is unscented right now (although the scented version is coming back in the near future) and promotes a snuggly type of attraction.

I have read that True Confessions can have some self-effects that may lead you to be a little more open in confessing things that you may want to keep secret. I haven't experienced that yet, but it is a warning. It is more of a "chatty" blend.

I personally like Treasured Hearts for more of a bonding type experience.

  18. LOL! This can cause an icing fix desire... I applied a full "dose" last night before going to the movies. This morning (more than 12 hours later), I can still smell rose faintly. mmmm.

  19. Do you feel sexy? Well, you WILL with this soft, yet mysterious Chypre / Floral, turned around with the addition of hand blended Dragon's Blood resins, Musk, Ambergris, Spice, and just a touch of Brandy

I agree with TG. This smells like sweet skin. Slightly sweet, slightly musky. The floral is there, but it almost smells like a faint whiff of almost evaporated men's cologne. Not masculine smelling at all. Goes along with that sweet skin smell.

It does have an etheral feel, but is not aquatic. It also feels green, but doesn't actually have a green note that I can pin down. More of a feeling that it is there somewhere, eluding my nose. It smells fresh out of the shower clean, but not soapy. There are a lot of descriptions here, but they are all trying to describe the same elusive feeling of mystery.

  20. Rich, Parisian bakery styled Buttercream, mixed with Roses for a fragrance that will have him yummily snuggling. A feel-good, deliciously sexy vibe!

Wet, this was icing sweet. As it dried down, it became very ... don't know how to describe it ... cozy?

It is pretty sweet and foody going on, but it dries into a soft pillow of yumminess. It smells like breakfast in bed. The rose is on your tray, along with a wonderfully yummy pastry with a warm gooey filling. It makes me think of rose scented silk sheets (although it smells nothing like silk or linen, it is just how it feels).

This is a wonderful new night time scent for me. It is very closely held when it dries. Almost requiring snuggling to smell the delicious sweetness caressing your skin.

  21. This year's offering combines four buttery Vanilla oils from around the globe - from Madagascar, France, India and Mexico - added to Amber from Tunisia, Patchouli from India, native American Berries and Sugars galore!

There is something in here that my skin does not like. It is very sharp and almost acrid. I think it might be one of the berries. So sad. Some pink scents do this one me.

OK. Edited to say that the throw on this smells fantastic. My skin, however, burns my nose. Since I am not a scent locket kind of person (I prefer to slather it all over myself and let my skin heat it up), and my skin is kind of close to my nose ... I am sadly putting my sample up on my trade post.
