This is misty, but not aquatic. I totally get the smell of heat that TG is referring to. I wonder if it is the blue musk. It almost smells like a floral insence. Not in a bad way, it just smells vintage. Very nicely blended. It is not an overpowering floral. Those non-floral people just might be surprised by this one. It also has a tinge of a green note in it. Fresh picked pansies, I think that is what I am getting there. The green is from the juices falling off the stem. This note is only there when wet. It disappears after it dries down.

Let the revelry begin! A wildly indulgent potion of sexual abandon and hedonism. Five lavish Musks: dark, rare and extremely sexual; steeped in fruit wines of Peach, Apricot and Grape.

Wet - this is boozy fruitness. The grape came out the strongest on me initially. Reminded me of goblin goo for a minute, and then that faded into a melding of fruity booze. No musk yet.

As it dried down, I kept getting whiffs of this yummy booziness coming from my wrist. I applied a spot 1/2 the size of a dime to my wrist and the throw was impeccable (at least a three foot throw).

Complete drydown (about 3 hours later): deep musk with a fruity layer. Almost dirty, but not dirt. Not quite sweaty either, but that is the feeling I get. At this stage, it is no longer sweet. It is smells "dried". I don't know how else to describe it. The throw is still a touch sweet and primarily fruity, but when you get close the dried sweat feel is there.

This one smells just like Jergen's lotion. Wonderful!

These florals blend fantastically. The lily is very subtle. I enjoy the addition of the pecan and cinnamon.

For me, the passion flowers came out on top with very little fruit. It dries into a very sexy resinous honey with the faintest hint of floral in the background. I enjoy it. I layered it with Plenty - FANTASTIC.

This one behaves badly with my skin. Not sure what it is. It is only up close, the throw smells great. Weird. The gardenia is gorgeous and the vanilla is warm and subtle.

The cardamom is delicious in this one! The lemon is beautiful and subtle. The pears are ripe and sweet.

This is far more beautiful than I expected. Wet, it is a sweet syrupy floral. As it dries down, it lightens up. I expected the lily to be overpowering, which is easy to do with this one. It is beautifully melded with the other florals and not dominating at all. I am getting a bottle. I can't even describe the complex beauty after this dries down.

This is beautiful and soft. It smells like dried antique roses with a hint of sunny florals. It is like wearable potpourri. Beautiful and soft. It has great throw. So glad I got a bottle coming.

I purchased the sample pack for my hubby and he really enjoyed it. If you get some that don't work for you, check out the trading post forum for those who might have the ones that you do like available for trade. There are several of us that have both women's and men's scents available for trade.

Also, don't be thrown off by the "mens" and "womens" categories. There are quite a few womens scents here that smell fantastic on men. My hubby often uses a few of mine. Check out the review threads.

The scents here do not have stabalizers, so they really do smell different on different people. I can put on a scent and then my hubby put on the same scent and you would never be able to tell it came from the same bottle.

Welcome Potionboy! Are you interested in pheros or just scents? Do you prefer the woodsier male scents, something a little sweeter (like Polo) or something fresh and clean (like Tommy)?

If you like something woodsier, PheroBoy Dominance, Elementary and Sugared Forest are good ones. For something sweeter, Woodland Man and To Soothe a Broken Heart are good ones. For something fresher, Northshore is great.

TeddyMan is a fresh, slightly sweet comforting scent and it has some cuddling pheros in it (if you want to be subtle, yet draw them to you). You can add SuperSexy for Men (SS4M) to anything for a more dominate sex attraction.

Lots of us women on the forum own SS4M purely for the effect that it has on us personally. We may wear it ourselves to put us in the mood when going out or wear before bed for some FANTASTIC dreams.

I'm not very good at describing the different things in scents, but I know I LOVE this one! The cinnamon is intoxicating to me LOL. And I did get several compliments when I wore it, so it isn't just me. I had to order a big bottle of this one.

The unscented pheros come pre-diluted in a 1/3 oz glass bottle with a rollon applicator. Just apply, let dry and cover away. How much to apply varies with each person. Trial and error is your best bet. The most I have seen posted is a total of about 15" of application (some here and some there, not one continuous 15" line).

As for your queston, it depends on what you want to use the pheros for. Are you interesed in creating a space for chatty communication, friendly but close conversation, or flirty and sexual attraction? Each of the pheros has a unique purpose.

As a woman, my favorite is Super Sexy for Men. I have a bottle that I use purely for the self-effects. I'll put myself in the mood. . That said, Teddy Man (phero enhanced scent) is extremely comforting and I love it on my hubby. It makes me want to get close and curl up in his arms. Not in a sexual way, but in an "I feel protected" way (which is actually very attractive to a woman and may lead to more than just cozy snuggles).
