  1. Oh. My. God. This is to die for, people. Right out of the bottle, it smelled like sugared honeycomb. Which is in no way a bad thing for me, as sh has been my signature imagined skin scent for going on a decade now. But now that it is drying down, I detect that it is more than sh. It is like a sexier, darker, richer, more delicious, more complex version of sh. Huffing it after drydown, it is just perfectly blended so that no one note (okay, other than the honey) stands out to me. It is less leathery than Down and Dirty was, if anyone remembers that one. I don't notice the tobacco or pepper as distinct notes. It is mouthwateringly delicious without being foodie. It is also similar to Closer, except closer has a sharp medicinal note when wet on me that takes a good half hour or so to mellow out. Man I know a certain guy who is just not going to know what hit him...
  2. If I am using an unscented pheromone in the oil base, I just roll it on and then roll my fragrance of choice on top and smoosh it together a little bit with my arms. If I am using an alcohol based unscented phero, or one of the alcohol/oil blends, I usually apply the perfume first and then spray the phero over the same region. Really, I don't think it matters much so long as the pheromone formula isn't heavy on copulins (La Femme Mystere is not a heavy copulin formula). I only use oil-based copulin-enhanced products (e.g pherogirl or the OCCOs) and only apply them to my lower torso and thighs. Then I put whatever pheromone blend on my upper body/arms.
  3. I also just received my sampler pack and did a quick sniff-through just smelling the vials and prioritizing which ones I want to try first on my skin. This was one of 3 I picked out as top priority, and it won out over bad girl and snugalicious for the one to try tonight. The latter two were fairly predictable for me to like, but this one was not, because of the rose -- rose often amplifies on me, and often (not always) ends up smelling old lady on me. Wet, it has a very fairy princess kind of feel to it. The fruit, musk, and vanilla make it smell like a perfectly melded, innocently sexy, understated skin scent before it ever even hits my skin. It is drying down now and predictably the rose is amping. It is starting to take on a very fresh, clean, shampoo-y scent that is still very pleasant. But still, veering away from the direction I thought it would take. And now, 15 mins or so after application, it is a very soft, youthful, feminine fragrance that is mostly fruit and rose. Very lovely!
  4. I've been wearing this the last few evenings. I love it! It's a little stabby to my nose when wet, but dries down to a really soft, well-blended fragrance. It's one of several "totally not me, yet me" resinous fragrances I'm considering getting a full bottle of. I don't like the word "gargle" though, so I'm just calling this "gargoyle". I love gargoyles.

    Desperation & Djinn

This is totally not my usual scent, and I'm glad I didn't refresh my memory on the notes in it (especially the rose) as I might have been biased against it. It is nice, mostly resinous on me. Seems both soothing and stimulating. It melded on my skin throughout the day, and it also lasted all day.
  6. This is amazing. Very pumpkiny at first, but the pumpkin faded to the background later in the day, leaving the gorgeous amber prominent. Aja hasn't worked for me in the past, but I don't detect it in this.
  7. I have been putting this in a wax warmer, as a home fragrance. I wanted something that would purify my home, which has experienced a great deal of grief in the past months due to the passing of my dear husband. However, I cannot tolerate smoke, so no smudging or incense will work. This is just a beautiful "place" scent for me. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm really not spiritual but it is bringing a positive energy to my house. It is just one more way LPs enrich my life. They are more than just scents.
  8. I suggest Lumina in addition to the others suggested. Don't give up on cops; they are neither dominant or submissive but are something much more primal. Only a small amount is needed though.

Can't wait to try this one!
  10. I'm also struggling to describe this. It is drawing me in to its achingly beautiful, complex indescribableness. It is a bit of lots of things, but not strongly any one thing. It makes many ideas swirl in my head, but none come to fruition or really solidify, then I'm off to the next fleeting impression. It is powdery, slightly unisex one moment, softly feminine the next. It ephemerally reminds me of some sophisticated perfume I've smelled long in the past of my youth, then in the next moment, it feels wholly unique. Every once in a while, I get a ozoney storm air feeling. I am not really able to pull out the patchouli or rose geranium notes. Anyone remember Synchronicity? I still have a bottle, and its funny because recently I was wondering if Mara would ever do a rebrew or make something similar. I guess it is the resins and amber that make me feel this is a somewhat similar scent.
  11. Wow, This is mostly honey, vanilla, and musk on me.. Smells like that delicious civet honey, but maybe it's just the combination of ingredients. The leather was mostly gone by dry down. I'm contemplating a bottle at this point.
  12. I keep checking to see if these are up on the store yet! There are quite a few I am looking forward to. I will have to get a sampler pack.
  13. I'm so glad I was able to obtain a bottle of this on the swap pages. I love it! Wet, it is really similar to Lascivious Peach (a long ggg PE from a number of years ago). But whereas Lascivious Peach is ls in-your-face civet musk that doesn't quit, Golden Goddess dries down to just a complex, beautiful, balanced, sophisticated scent. The sandalwood is very soft (I was scared of this note in the description). To me this is not overly fruity, overly musky, overly honey. Everything just blends perfectly so no single note is prominent.
  14. This has aged incredibly well. When I first got it, it went through an extended pointy amber amping phase. Tonight it doesn't seem to be doing that at all. It was immediately a soft, slightly powdery honey with just a touch of juicy fruit. I still can't detect the cops. I will have to wear this some more. I love how LPs seem to get better with age.
  15. I want to get a spray bottle of cougar with a full extra boost of cougar.
  16. Is there a Golden Goddess and/or a Honeyed Blackberry left?
  17. Well, this is super yummy! The peach is very juicy. It is along the same lines as Tyvey's Mango-ish. This is definitely on my interest list.
  18. I smell white musk too, missdarlyncherie! I like this okay, but I'm a little "meh" on white musk (whether it is in it or my nose is just being weird). I need to try it again though. It was pleasant, just not a favorite.
  19. Okay thank! I haven't done anything but sniff it in the vial, and I thought I detected an aja like note (which I like okay but my husband doesn't). I will proceed to trying it on my skin.
  20. Mara, can you tell us if this has Aja in it?
  21. Instant love. I often don't like Lavender because it can be very assaulting to my nose. That is how Beautiful Dreamer was for me, too sharp. This is much softer, calm soothing, vanilla powder. Yes, I'm going to want a bottle of this.
