What I worry about re adding perfume to 60/40 betas is the amount of oil, ie adding a couple more ml of perfume oil to a half bottle makes a nearly half and half oil-alcohol ratio... does that still spray alright?

Sweet pink candy, young and uplifting like a sunny day. This one reminds me of LP Pink, it's definitely worth a full bottle

So funny, I just asked if LP Spring '11 was reminiscent of Pink, then to see the comparison here was a surprise! But not when I think about it, Egg '09 and Pink layer beeeyoootifully together, if Egg '11 is anything like that, OMG...

Curious, because of the pink sugars and LP base, how this compares to Pink? Since no one's made a direct comparison, I'm guessing not *too* similar... but there's gotta be some similarity there, right?

One night at work, I kept catching whiffs of something deeeelishus, that I couldn't place. It didn't seem to be what I had on, but similar... It was SO pretty, I couldn't find it though and it was driving me crazy. I was sniffing all on myself and the other girls (yeah, it was goofy), I figured out it was me (YAY) but not sure how exactly I'd gotten that sweet, creamy, yummy smell ...and why it wafted sporadically

As it turns out, the Unwrapped sample I had in my pocket had broken Aaaaah, bittersweet. Thank god I had already gotten a bottle!

I've seen those shows! They are basically the same info, and they air on-- is it Discovery? TLC? --somewhat regularly I think. They were actually on a loop a couple weeks back, I had em on in the background, each one on like twice! I'd seen the cops mask experiment a couple years ago, interesting indeed. I posted about it actually, because there was debate in this forum over whether cops have to be 'smellable' and the show made a point that the cops in the mask were beneath the smell threshold (they'd kinda have to be, or the guys would know *something* was up when the cheese pumped in!)

Some of the info presented felt kinda dubious. The 'helpful' ladies experiment in particular seemed VERY flawed as far as the assumptions they drew from it. The ladies were either put in a scenario that had them confused and uneasy, before sending them outside to... well, they kept it unclear... so it is easy to see that they were distracted & myopic. The other scenario was full of flirtation and flattery so they were at ease and on a little ego buzz when they went outside, more likely to embrace the ambiguity of what was going on and actually *register* the struggling chick, and the obvious notion that they could help her out. They didn't know they were being observed, either, so the idea of 'showboating' their helpfulness didn't really fly with me.

Then again, I wasn't really paying attention. That was my take on that experiment though, it really stuck in my mind. The shows are fun to watch, once, for sure

I am starting to feel a little of the non-ordering remorse here... I didn't go for the sampler last month, just ordered several I HAD to try... and this wasn't one... Knew I shoulda done the whole thing! Wish I'd read the reviews for this first, would've been the tipping point on going whole hog It sounds sooo delish, like something I would just want to have on to huff when working at home even... sigh. I *will* get some my next order!

It's so pretty and sweet, and has a lovely citrus kick to it (DH thought it smelled like sex/candy/pink grapefruit )

And, the cover is simply ridonkalous! Makes sense I suppose, as the Pink family has great throw and staying power, but still I 'm amazed.

Bet this would layer fabulously with scented cougar... Anyone tried that combo? I just may, tomorrow...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

How do you find the everclear works for perfume? Cause that was my plan as well... I border a state where I can buy it, for cheaper than Perf. alc and without the possibly toxic additives, and particularly the yuck one (bitrex?)

I know even the nommiest LPs aren't for licking, but for smooching's sake I'd prefer consumable pure alcohol as a dilutant!

Does grain work well with LP oils? Better, I assume, than vodka would?

eta: oh, jeez, ya kinda spelled out the grain v. vodka question, d'oh! But still want to know how everclear has worked with LPs if you've tried that... I'm dying to make an arsenal of to go spritzers!

This was one of my best orders to receive, everything was just so YUM and there's so much... and a couple real mindblowers. I wish I could stay online to hit the reviews and extoll the glory of each one... For now, alls I can say is... Fabulous as always!

Got my orders from the beginning and end of sept this morning, had to retrieve from the PO but I am soooooooooooo glad they made it to me safe and sound. What a long strange trip they had, indeed.

Apparently we have a brand new guy on our route, so the non-delivery yesterday/ his first day is more readily forgiven. I want to make him a gift baggie with some cookies and a note that says: Please, come on up with my signature package! It's just one floor, we are home and waiting (with fresh coffee if you like) and I promise we won't bite!

...yet...

Well, I found out that my undelivered package is a mystery to all, and want to amend my previous rage against USPS/ my PO carrier... turns out the mystery scan(s, another the next day) didn't even originate from my local PO, as I found out when I went there to ask what was up. We were all ...But they were really helpful, and while I'm still a little at least we have a team effort now on the tracking!

So, good news, this was not a repeat of past blunders... bad is that my bebe is still out there, hopefully not for long though!

So, sure enough, good ol USPS f*cked up another LP delivery.

They did give a new albeit fake excuse, so i suppose I should give some credit for creativity... and balls, claiming my same old address is suddenly 'undeliverable'.

Thank god I could track the poor thing. Now to catch up with it and get my LP baby home!

Forgive me for ripping off Marcy Playground in that subtitle; that song was the first thing that came to mind when I smelled this and I just thought it reflected it in a (very condensed) nutshell anyway, but it's so much more than just any old coffee scent. It's like everything warm and inviting and delicious and sensual all rolled into one and bottled up into one hell of a nosegasm. Wet I get more of the coffee, but as it dries down the other glorious layers elevate it to a whole other level. The coffee and bittersweet dark chocolate--it really is thick and dark, and you don't find too many really dark chocolate notes around--are most prominent in the beginning and delicious on their own, but then that ridiculously indlugent brown sugar caramel and amber, plus the sexy, sticky tartness of the apricot have me huffing my arm like mad. It also has a very golden feeling, like a really richly colored late summer sunset, perfect for the end of summer through all of autumn (and beyond--this is very "me"). Altogether it's just the perfect melange of all these scents, very well blended; I don't get anything stealing the show, just everything working in perfect harmony to create a delicious and very tantalizing effect. Luna, thank you for sharing a part of your epic trilogy with us; the next chapter focuses on how I'm going to unstick my nose from that spot on my arm...
