  1. sexy huff-addicting date gourmands. Yummy, comforting, and delicious
    1. Something very buttery. Vanilla, whipped cream, in a very sexy direction so maybe some musk or spice or amber or flower like orchid or lavender but to heighten the buttery vanilla whipped cream which is the lasting scent.

    2. a butter pecan scent, or maybe brown sugar like in the old rocket fuel with pecan

  2. Coffee, earth, and chocolate at first, and then after dry down I’m getting the sweet tobacco with the other 3 I mentioned. A little spice, but not much, and not incense on me. I like this on me and I seem to really like tobacco and vanilla notes on men (in the past I’ve liked Havana and Tom ford a lot) so I would definitely like this on a man. Ironically I don’t like smokers!

  3. This is an interesting one, I’m liking quite a bit. Somehow it is fruity on me, which I’m guessing is the wine. I’m not sure what palo santo smells like, but I’m thinking I’m getting a mild pepper with the alcohol and it’s kind of like an apple scent. Not super spicy on me. Would, I like it on a guy? I would, it’s very fresh smelling.

  4. @citrine Congratulations! I hope the new position is everything you want it to be.

I didn’t read about breaking it on a tree? I did read it’s good to break it into a bowl and exam it and if it has a certain appearance it can mean different things. Then once you exam it, get it out of the house and away from you. What do you mean by it brings you closer to the things you least hope for?

  5. Definitely a green fig and stayed that way until it began to fade. I wonder if it is the bergamot that plays with the fig to give it that unripe fig vibe. I take bergamot powder (skin and juice) and plain bergamot juice almost everyday, which might be a little different than the perfume oils, but the smell is similar to what I detect melding with the fig. An invigorating scent that calls to be sniffed.

  6. So I’m not big on florals, but received a tester of this and see there wasn’t many reviews. Honestly if you like florals or violet in particular and are a woman I wouldn’t be afraid of this being unisex. It wasn’t overly strong. I’m mainly getting the violet also, no soapiness though. It was a well blended floral on me with violet being what I smell. I couldn’t detect the patchouli or stronger notes at all.

  7. Oh wow, thank you for adding the stories of some successes you have had! This is very helpful. I might try a few rituals to see if doing the work and focusing my attention at specific times helps, but it’s good to know I can set and forget too. I’m going to get a few potions in trade and then the ashes to dust in the sample set. Ashes is supposed to be like a ritual where you rub an egg all down your body to to let go of the past and bring renewal , so maybe I’ll rub some Ashes to Dust on the egg and give it a go.

  8. This wasn’t what I perceive as powdery on me, but it was a soapy, clean scent like being fresh from the shower. I couldn’t detect the alcohol on me, but when I sniff the trial I definitely get grape and a bit of wine. I think it’s a safe scent for being around people that are sensitive to perfume. With the cougar it should be great to wear with a guy who doesn’t tend to like fragrance. I’m home alone, and no selfies, so no reports on the Cougar.

  9. I almost didn’t get this in trades because of fear of the patchouli and spice, but I love it. Spicy sexy cake. Between this and Spontaneous combustion I’m realizing I at least like how Mara does spice. I had a fear of 80s and 90s types of perfumes like obsession that remind me of Capt Morgan’s rum!

  10. Love, love, love, love…did I say love? The guy loves it on me too. Such a sexy scent. I was nervous to try anything spicy because I think of the 90s perfumes like obsession and Captain Morgan’s rum, but I definitely need to try some other spicy scents that Mara makes. I tried Cauldron cake yesterday and also really enjoyed the spices in that. I agree with Johnsonlisa I get a powdery cinnamon smell also.

  11. This is another good one on me, and my guy friend liked it a lot too. It was well balanced and I’d say it smelled like whipped cream and honey. He didn’t care for some other honey scents so I was surprised he liked this one so much. The licorice was very mild and so was the marshmallow. Marshmallow is a note I like to be in the background.

It's funny for me to read all the reviews that call this sweet and pink, it's rather smutty on me! Like maybe NSFW smutty! I came back here to read notes/reviews to see what was in here that I missed, but nope. No added smut, I'm just making this smell naughty all on my own.

It definitely was all your chemistry @Eastwood22 because I now have your bottle from trades and on me from the minute I put it on and until it wears off several hours later, it is strawberry shortcake! I don’t like to eat strawberry shortcake but I love smelling like it. I can’t detect the patchouli at all, it must just amp the other notes. This one only lists a couple of ingredients, so I doubted it would be cakey on me, I figured I would probably have a pink sugar result, which is fine. I just never know how Lps will smell on me or how others will perceive them. Thank you Mara for making this and Eastwood for giving me the opportunity to try it, this is the first time I think I’ve gotten to smell like yummy cake 🎂
