Our scrubs are lovely and moisturizing and make your skin feel smooth and polished. I promise nothing other than that. I will find time to make some Salt Scrubs soon. Currently we are well stocked on Sugar Scrubs. :)

Speaking as a guy but also as someone with absolutely terrible skin, I have to say that I REALLY like Mara's scrubs.  They are very exfoliating and do a great job of smoothing the skin with absolutely no irritation.  I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't do anything to irritate it.  I highly recommend her scrubs!  Apologies to TLC.

I'm in love with this blend. I tend to really like citrus scents, especially lemon, so that's probably part of it. It just smells super fresh and clean. It leans a little masculine but passes for unisex pretty easily and I fully intend to wear it. I got the virgin bottle so I can't comment on the pheremone interaction. It's very much a daytime scent, and probably would be pretty office friendly.

I completely agree!  This is a great, clean office friendly scent.  I really like it as well.

  3. Gents, this is still a crowd pleasing scent and I totally understand why it is in the permanent collection.  I highly recommend giving it a try.  I was wearing this scent just last night and my bride was thanking me for wearing it because she says I don't wear it enough.  I have too many other great smelling scents to choose from so this one sometimes doesn't get nearly the love it deserves.

  4. I bought a spray bottle of this one in the sale.  I had this in an oil and even though it did smell a fair bit different than the original but that isn't to say that it doesn't smell incredible.  I really, really, enjoy this scent in the spray.  I also enjoy this scent in the oil (a LOT) but I think I like it EVEN MORE in the spray.  It is a very classic men's scent to my nose.  I found that women also really appreciate this scent as well.  I walked into the house after shopping.  As I walked past my bride, she perked her head up and said to nobody in particular, "Why does it smell so good in here?"  It really does smell great.

I also find that the Charisma blend is a fun and attractive blend that sort of sneaks up on people and puts a fun spotlight on the wearer.

My man put this on this morning, said, “ummmm. Smell me.”

I said, “Adam’s nectar? It’s so good. I can’t believe you didn’t let me get you a back-up in the Sale.... I mean, for your back-up.”

It is that smooth, if a man only wanted to go with one scent for the rest of his life, this would be a great choice. Not that any man on this forum is that guy!

Glad he's liking it!  I personally love BOTH brews of this and wear it often.  My bride likes it too and I really do get a lot of compliments on it.

That's a lovely idea, Bruja. I already finished brewing though, and last release I did FOUR for relaxation since we can all use some stress relief these days! I will save this idea for next year though, thank you!

If interested, the 4 from the last lot are Savage Beast, Northern Comfort, Hush, and Feather in the Wind.

And they are all REALLY good! :Emoticons10311:

This is almost straight vanilla on my skin. @Snoopyaceis right - I smell like I just walked out of my favorite bakery here lol. Not a bad scent by any means although I am not usually a "foodie" scent kind of guy but as long as Mrs. QG is happy, I am happy!

    Smart man! :Emoticons10311:

I'm hiking in The Catalina Mountains in Tucson, at the tippy top where the evergreens are cool and shady. The temperature won't reach 50 degrees. There are plops of snow left on the north sides of rocks and fallen trees, but spring has arrived, the ground has warmed, and the ground is carpeted in dried evergreen needles.

I love this. First sniff after application is all dried woods. Fifteen minutes later there is the evergreen-covered forest floor and a whiff of smoke, as if from a warming fire inside a nearby cabin. Thirty minutes in there is vanilla, but this is what cooks call Mexican Vanilla, very woodsy and up front in the nose. This is exactly what I need to carry in my pocket 24/7.

That is just an AMAZING review!  I have to try this one.  Been having so much fun with the rebrews in this collection that the newest scents haven’t even gotten worn yet.

We’ve been sitting on the sofa watching tv with the windows open, and I’m generally downwind from my man when a breeze floats through. This new TT is the only full bottle I bought with all the trials and I’m very glad I made the decision. All we had of the original was a little sniffle, but BF hoarded it and really loved It. I don’t know if he’d give up the last speck for a wrist by wrist comparison! For this girl, it doesn’t matter one but if it’s a match, because it’s a lovely vanilla tobacco, and it’s (mostly) all I need on a man. I’m also glad for him to have something I really enjoy with Charisma in it. Tee Kay Oh was closer to my heart than any others paired with Charisma, but it wasn’t crave-worthy, for me. I spiked his Havana on Earth with Charisma, but that is NOT an everyday scent.

We’ve been sitting on the sofa watching tv with the windows open, and I’m generally downwind from my man when a breeze floats through. It’s so sexy! And finally a good match for Charisma that he can wear on the regular. I mean, if I get him a back up bottle!🤣

That’s awesome!  I don’t feel like this scent was as robust as the original but I do feel that it is going to be a lot more wearable for a lot of guys.  Oh, and as you found out, it smells great and is a perfect companion for the Charisma phero blend.

  10. Oh yeah.  I completely agree with both your assessments, Luna.  I do feel as though the rebrew is a bit more pepper forward (at least right now) but both are wonderfully masculine scents and I have had no complaints from my bride.  Actually, every time I've worn this so far has turned into a great, fun and playful evening!

I have not worn this on skin or tried on the man yet but I feel it’s important to let everyone know my eyeballs rolled back in my head when I smelled it in the vial. I’m glad nobody saw me. Lol.

Hehehe!  Yup.  Smells amazing, doesn't it? I have so many new scents to try but just in the bottle this was amazing! :Emoticons10311:

  12. Oh man.  Man....  This smells so much like the last brew it is amazing.  Which is to say that I cannot stop huffing my application point as I've tested this out.  It really is amazing how attractive this scent is and the Heart Throb phero blend is perfect with the scent.  If you want an amazing leather, vanilla scent with a phero blend that has a LOT of kick, this is the one for you!

    Wear:

Original: this still smells the same as when I originally experienced it, that robust nuanced pipe tobacco/resin sweetness with a subtle fruit note threaded throughout.

Rebrew: I get more fruitiness in this one?  Yeah I do!  I would say it's somewhat less intense overall, which is probably attributable to being newly-brewed, maybe due to some of the sources, but I think anyone who loves the original and burned through a bottle or two (*looks at Mark*) :P will be happy with this rebrew for sure.

I have to agree completely with this assessment.  On me it is a bit more apple forward than the original but I really think that is just fine by me!  I am ecstatic with how this has turned out.  I think anyone who wears this will be getting plenty of positive attention.

  14. Of the rebrewed men's releases this month, this one actually reminds me the most of the original scent with Girl Nip being a close second.  If you were a fan of the original Adam's Nectar scent I highly recommend checking this one out as well.  Really great scent that is very well blended (but aren't all of @Potion Master's) scents?)  I really pick up the apple, the maple and the alcohols first.  As it has dried down, I am starting to pick up more of the tobacco and amber but the apple and maple really stay strong.  Oh yes, this is very, very, nice indeed!

I feel like I need a...disclaimer?  Kinda?  We know fragrance is a subjective experience and all.  But if someone asked me to describe Tortuga on first sniff I would say: "Authentically beachy."  LIke, the actual smell of being at the beach: sea air and suntan lotion.  But no sweetness at all, so it's for guys in that respect (although there's nothing wrong with a bit of sweetness but I know some guys will absolutely run away in the other direction like it's poison).  But I would say this one is actually unisex because some ladies might prefer a more neutral take on beachiness.  I mean, I might wear this too even though I have a few beachy scents I'm already in a committed relationship with.

This is, I dare say, the masculine equivalent of Tropical Musk.

Tortuga is primarily bowling me over with how incredibly authentic it is - like when people used to marvel at Christopher Brosius' fragranced recreation of a summer day at the beach in 1966.  This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about in my interview with Ryan: fragrance as time travel, dimensional travel, placing you in a particular time and place.  I won't call it a Proustian moment but rather a Ratatouille one, you are there.  And you have sand everywhere.

So guys, if you're looking for a Summer fragrance - either one for this year or because you've never had one, and especially if we're still going to have to spend most of our time indoors - you need to get this, it's perfect.  It puts you in just the right mood, it's evocative, it's clean and light so appropriate for warm weather, but it captures that summer vibe exactly.

This sounds fascinating to me!  I was a fan of Chris’s fragrances (when I had the money to spend on them).

I am so grateful for these type of blends. Being single through this whole social distancing ordeal has felt very lonely. B2.2 definitely helps with the anxiety that can come from the bouts of soul crushing loneliness. It's an odd phenomena that I've been experiencing throughout this pandemic. Usually I'm fairly independent, but I have had a lot of moments during this. Anyway, the blend does something nice and I'm glad to have it in my arsenal.

Sorry that you've been feeling lonely.  This whole situation with the pandemic shelter in place orders has been very new and challenging for a lot of us.  I'm glad that the pheros have been helping, I think I've finally gotten my wife to understand that they can also help her because she even said to me today that she used her bottle of Sunshine of Your Love that was boosted with Phero B2.2 so she didn't rip someone's head off at work.  Actually (and this is so cute) what she said was, 'I had to put Mara on today.'  I have learned what that means.
